Multiple Defects, Poor Repairs, and No Accountability
My experience with FEC has been extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to share it so that others are aware of the level of service they may encounter.
Since moving into the property, I have faced multiple defects and recurring issues, including three separate leakages, ongoing problems with the windows and doors, and repeated deterioration of materials that were supposedly repaired. Despite raising these concerns promptly and consistently, the quality of the remedial work has been poor and often incomplete, leading to further disruption and inconvenience.
What has made the situation even more frustrating is the inefficiency and lack of proper management throughout the process. I have had to repeatedly move and relocate my belongings to accommodate contractors, often on very short notice, because issues were not resolved correctly the first time. This has resulted in a significant amount of unnecessary rework on my side—time and effort that should never have been required if the property had been delivered to an acceptable standard.
Customer service has been equally disappointing. Communication has been slow, inconsistent, and at times dismissive. Several defects remain unresolved despite months of follow‑ups, and the company’s position has often been to minimise or deny responsibility rather than address the underlying problems. Even after escalating the matter, the response has been unsatisfactory and has failed to acknowledge the extent of the inconvenience caused.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. If you do not wish to deal with ongoing complaints, repeated defects, and unresolved issues, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. The level of customer care and workmanship I have encountered has fallen far below what any homeowner should reasonably expect.
