We had to have our gas logs cleaned and repositioned. The tech did a great job to get the gas flowing evenly. He was punctual and conscientious. We were very happy with the results.

They arrived promptly; they took care of my problem efficiently and neatly and answered my questions honestly. I am very pleased.

I specifically wanted a Mendota fireplace insert. Not too many places to purchase from in NWI. I ended up at the Fireplace Authority location in Elmhurst, IL. Jason was super helpful (and patient!) during the entire process. I went back to them to also purchase the hearth, mantle and stone for my 16 ft tall wall.
Everything came out beautifully and I couldn’t be more pleased!!
I would highly recommend this team!!

Felt the experience was a bit of a “bait & switch”. Some initial price estimates followed by actual much higher quote. After reaching out to explore options…Noone has returned my request. I’ve moved on to another company

Gas log had become blocked with the years of use; flame was not even. Didn't look realistic.

Chris did a GREAT clean-up job, was really meticulous about it. Investigated the cause of weak flame and stayed with it until he achieved the perfect results.

Our technician was very neat. We didn't have to do any additional cleanup after his work was completed. He solved out problem with our remote very quickly (dirty contacts.) An excellent experience!

The technician who came diagnosed the problem pretty quickly, and ruled out other issues, giving the whole unit a going over. He talked through everything he was doing, as I watched. He was very careful and cleaned up completely. The funny thing was the problem was actually with the switch on the wall, not the fireplace itself. I could’ve easily changed that if I had realized it! Oh well we got our 26 year old fireplace fully checked so that was good. If there was any negative, it was just that it took so long to get an appointment.- more than a month.

Large showroom to see choices. Knowledgeable staff. Installers were always on time. Respectful of our home & property. Excellent job of explaining process of installation.
