The sample report on the website was one of the reasons I chose to go with Flettons. I am happy with the service I received. I received a summary report following the survey and the full report within the required timeframe. The report was really good, the format and layout made it easy to navigate, and the traffic light system gave a useful indication of areas of concern. The report had a good overview and was also very detailed, the areas of concern and cost estimate sections were also a useful indication. The areas I asked to be checked by the surveyor were also covered. The surveyor contacted me following receipt of report and was available to discuss any queries. The report gave me a much better understanding of the property and helped with confirming to go ahead with the purchase decision.
The only minor let down was that the quality of many of the photos in the report was poor. Other than that, I am happy with my decision to use Flettons and think the report was good value for money. I would recommend them in the future.

This is the second time I am using Flettons for a purchase and they never fail to impress me. Flettons carried out a very detailed survey report at short notice and returned the report quickly. I was particularly impressed with the cost breakdown which I used to successfully reduce my offer. The surveyor was available when required. I would definitely recommend to friends and will use them in the future.

The report was really detailed and included lots of photos. The turnaround time was really good too. This was my first time buying a house so I did find it a bit tricky to understand what to do with all of the information. The traffic light indicators in the report were helpful to see any major issues.

Excellent price for the outcome that was provided. Found exceptionally helpful and was able to provide clarity on any points raised in the report- though there were none as report was clear. Highly recommended.

Great service from Flettons. They did a Full Building Survey for a house I'm purchasing and confirmed a few of the things I was concerned about. The full report is detailed and has plenty of pictures. It also came with a second PDF that had larger versions of all the pictures.
Overall I'm very pleased and would recommend Flettons.

I commissioned a full structural survey-plus from Flettons online, they responded swiftly and arranged a site visit with the estate agents in a timely fashion. I received a full report and it was detailed but in plain English and definitely worth the money. I did not feel intimidated, due to the fact that they used a "traffic light" system, for flagging areas of concern and all issues were always articulated in context.
I did have a minor issue with the fact that no hard copy was available and I feel that if requested, this should be provided.

However regarding the quality of the survey and my ability to use the information, I would have no hesitation in using and recommending Flettons to my family and friends

We were very happy with the building survey Simon did for us. He discovered a damp problem which we hadn't noticed ourselves whilst viewing the property and the survey was clearly laid out and easy to understand. Simon was also easily contactable and was friendly and helpful in answering any questions we had after we received the survey. I would happily use Flettons again. Thank you!

Simon's survey was incredibly thorough and he offered useful follow up by phone.

It was a clear report with useful colour coding to identify higher risk areas and a good amount of detail. We didn't get the summary report that was indicated on the website that you should get 48hrs after the survey even when we chased to ask for this to be sent we heard nothing back about this. The final report was sent 7 working days after the survey as promised though and any amends we requested were made very quickly.

The call straight after the survey was very helpful. I ended up not buying the property.

Basement trunking not done properly resulting in too much moisture in the air.

The report took a little longer then I thought. But I had all the information and in detail over the call.

Great all-round service. Everything was completed promptly and I was kept up-to-date at every stage of the process.

I am impressed with the level of detailed information given and I must say it is well beyond my expectations. Each and every part of the area of the property were inspected. It also highlights some of the areas that requires immediate attention which I used this to renegotiate the asking price for the property.

I also had to call and discuss with the surveyor post the survey and we managed to run through all the questions I had. All the information were explained thoroughly and professionally. It was also so easy to talk to the surveyor.

Also, despite the fact that I was informed inadvance about the time frame the survey will take, I was inpatient to get it done as quickly as possible. However, now it has made me realise that it was well worth the wait. Thanks to all Flettons team.

As a first time buyer my building survey from Flettons provided invaluable.
The survey went above and beyond what I was expecting, uncovering areas of repair or potential issues that hadn’t even crossed my mind!
Any queries I had with the survey or certain points I didn’t understand, I was able to call and discuss these.
Breakdown of estimated costs for essential and provisional repairs was a great benefit.
Just wish the whole of the house buying process was this easy and smooth!

At first we thought it took a while for our review to come through but we got it after just over a week and once we read it we understood why it had taken time. It was thorough and detailed and we felt it had been done with care, not just stock answers. Our surveyor Simon was very accessible and took a number of our phone calls where we asked him plenty of questions. Excellent service and money well spent.

Simon at Flettons was brilliant. He gave us a really thorough and easy to understand survey, that was done to a much higher standard than other sample surveys I was sent by other companies. The colour coding system made it very easy to follow, and I really felt he didn't miss a thing when it came to the house. He was always available when I called to ask him anything, and gave me really helpful analysis and answers to all of my queries. He was very patient friendly and polite, and went completely above and beyond, he even helped explain another survey to me from a drains specialist as I couldn't understand it, and couldn't get hold of that surveyor. Flettons were also competitively priced, so you got really good value for money. I would highly recommend Simon's services.
