Great Stuff
I have used Float a few times now and it has been really easy.
Checkout is quick, nothing confusing, and you know exactly what you are signing up for. It actually feels responsible and well managed.
I had a small question regarding the hold the first time I used it and customer service was really helpful and quick to respond, which made me feel a lot more comfortable using it again.
Everything is clear upfront and payments are easy to keep track of. Would definitely recommend if you want a flexible way to pay without any stress.

Honestly don’t understand the point of…
Honestly don’t understand the point of this company. Its easy and all but the whole amount was deducted from the get go. I could've just paid for the product immediately instead of taking this step?? FAQ’s aren't really clear. So would suggest using other platforms if you want to stretch out payments. I selected 6 months but whole amount was paid immediately.

At the time of purchase, the full purchase amount is reserved on your credit card but not charged. Only the first interest-free installment is charged upfront, and the remaining installments are charged monthly on the same date as your first payment.
The reserve (also known as a pre-authorization) is a hold against the available credit on your card, not a charge, and it is completely interest-free. This ensures that you can meet your installment repayments without overspending on your card. As you pay each installment, the reserved amount reduces to reflect the remaining balance of your purchase until the purchase is fully paid.
Your bank may also send a SMS notifications when funds are reserved, and the reserve may appear as “pending” or “uncleared” in your account.
We can assure you that this is explained on our website, FAQs and shopper agreement.

Don’t go with them
They advertise 6 monthly installments. But they reserve the full payment and basically want you to pay to unreserve the amount. What’s the point of a buy pay later when you have basically bought the product.

Buying a mountain bike
I bought a mountain bike from Cycle Lab and the lady at the till asked me if I want it on Float, she told me how it works, 4 equil payments with no interest and it took her under 1 minute to conclude the transaction. I am happy and my last payment was deducted this month so it worked for me

After advertising 6 instalments the full amount was deducted and when you call they don’t have any agents to help you. Worst mistake I have ever made. Why the hell will you say interest free and instalments but then the full amount was taken
