Out of date knowledge
Mark at Southampton branch was extremely helpful and communicative.
Sadly a difference in opinion (no facts) and lack of up to date knowledge on new style UFH boards led to the flooring not being completed with areas of screed not even laid on the ground floor, delaying our house move and costing more to get another company to fix the screed and lay the floor. No apology, compensation or any kind of customer service to remedy the situation over weeks of back and forth between Floor Giants and my builder.

We're sorry that you were disappointed with the outcome. Following a full review with both the store and our fitting team, our position remains that the installation was paused due to concerns regarding movement within the subfloor, which, in our professional opinion, meant it was not suitable to continue with the installation at that time. We were not prepared to proceed with fitting a floor where we believed there was a significant risk of failure.
As the installation of the ground floor did not go ahead, we have arranged a refund of the applicable fitting deposit. However, as the subsequent works were carried out after an alternative contractor proceeded against our advice, we are unable to accept liability for the additional costs incurred or agree to compensation.
While we appreciate this is not the outcome you were hoping for, we believe stopping the installation was the responsible course of action based on the condition of the subfloor at the time. We wish you all the best with your new home.

From the start Ash Katinas the store manager of Derby was exceptional. He listened to my requirements; (granddaughter and dog proof). Not just hear and jump in with product!
When it came to quotation time, he went through it, so it was transparent and included items other company’s leave out so it looks cheaper! Ash checked the week before the fitting date and after to make sure everything was okay. I am extremely pleased with the fitting and believe the floor enhances the space beautifully. With Ash’s help I have a value for money floor, with a 25-year warranty and most important the floor meets all my requirements and looks a million dollars. I recently had a solid oak floor supplied and fitted by Floor Giants in Llansamlet, and I couldn’t be happier. After a terrible experience with another Swansea-based company that clearly didn’t know the difference between laminate and real wood, I went to see James at Floor Giants – and what a difference!
The service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. I was even able to take samples away with me to the paint shop to perfectly match everything in my home. James arranged the whole process smoothly, and the delivery and fitting were faultless – huge thanks to Callum for such a brilliant job.
I cannot recommend this team enough. Thank you so much James, Callum and everyone at Floor Giants – you’ve been fantastic!

Fab friendly store
Fab friendly store, had an idea of what I wanted and straight away found it by the help of Ash. Helped with getting delivery quickly for us, we found we needed to see the floor in a bigger version to choose. Samples weren’t really helpful to us. Would advise you to pop into store.
