Good Communications when ordering

I would not recommend this company. The situation I experienced could have been resolved expeditiously and professionally if someone had contacted me as requested (several times).

When the carrier arrived to deliver my product, the driver scanned the order as delivered, only for the driver to then realize the product was not actually on the truck.

I immediately contacted FlooringInc by email to explain that the order had not been delivered and requested guidance as soon as possible. On Friday afternoon, I also attempted to call multiple times, requested a callback, sent emails, and requested text communication over the course of several hours.

Instead of receiving direct assistance, I received what appeared to be an automated response instructing me, the customer, to do the legwork to locate an order that the carrier failed to deliver. The tone of that response also came across as accusatory, as though I needed to prove the delivery had not occurred despite the product never being left with me.

If you are going to use a carrier that has a 1.4 out of 5 star review, then it would be beneficial to assist the customer when issues arise.

I have requested a phone call from a manager about a dozen times now and still no response which has led me to leave a poor review.

Additionally, for awareness, none of the flooring matches! I am so disappointed! This experience has been awful.

The customer service was very helpful and they made something stressful into something easy.

Customer service person (Haez) was excellent. I needed help to order trim pieces for a practice dance tile floor I had ordered from Amazon. She knew what I wanted better than I did. Such a tiny order and she covered many details. I definitely will call back if I erred and misordered, or if I decide to expand my dance floor in the future.

This is our second time ordering from Flooring Inc. We had an amazing first experience and that's why we knew we wanted to choose them again. However this time was a little different. We did our order and shipping was not fast, and got delayed two times. We ended up canceling and going with an instock flooring option $$$$ customer service and sales team were very nice, got the answers we needed, and rushed our order! When we got out rolls out they were not cut evenly/ straight/shorter so we had to make some adjustments on our end.

My customer service agent was great. She helped in every way possible

I bought Nitro Tiles 3 years ago. The Sales Department researched my original order efficiently and emailed me back. This made it easier to place
my new order.

Jermaine was very helpful. Told me about the product that was interested in and put together the order for me and did a great chat.

I had an awesome experience speaking with Judith. She was very patient, professional and knowledgeable of the products. The order was accurate and the delivery was faster than I expected!

Had to wait 45 minutes to get a sales rep and then found out there was no free shipping on my purchase of Catalina grass. Unbelievable.

Please believe the reviews. Don’t convince yourself it’ll be different.

I ordered 3/4" rubber flooring and was told I could pick it up locally. I received a confirmation email with the address, hours, and phone number. When I arrived, the facility (a third-party warehouse, not Flooring Inc) informed me they do not carry 3/4" at all.

I wasted 2 hours round trip with a truck and trailer, then spent another 2 hours on the phone with Flooring Inc while standing in the warehouse.

Final outcome:
I was given two options:

Pay $700 to ship the 3/4" from another facility (with ?? leadtime)
Or accept 1/2" flooring (worth $600 less)

I took the 1/2" just to move forward.

Then it got worse.

They issued a new order and charged me for “quick ship” and shipping twice a total of $559.30 in shipping fees for a product I physically picked up myself.

Luckily, I documented everything at the warehouse. Comparing that to the revised invoice, there’s a $526.33 discrepancy. It appears they tried to inflate costs to match my original order total and avoid issuing a proper refund.

It’s now been nearly a week with no resolution, and I’m forced to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

I understand mistakes happen. I’m patient and give companies the opportunity to fix issues.

This was not a mistake. This was repeated mismanagement followed by questionable billing practices.

Save yourself the headache. There is no “deal” here, just frustration and wasted time.

Go anywhere else.

Don't be fooled by the performative reply on this review.

My Credit Card company pushed Flooring Inc to issue a refund.
They did so, but based on the inflated new invoice. (With shipping and expedite fees)
Meaning, they shorted me intentionally.

Flooring Inc only responds when I call. Has ignored emails.
They claim they need to write down all the info and will call me back tomorrow.

They have done this 3x and never call back.

Doing the bare minimum. Deflecting accountability. Hoping I just go away.
