Play football via this app
Really great app, having been using this in London for a long time and in Birmingham for the past 3 years. I’ve recently moved to Leicester, which now thankfully has FootyAddicts! If you struggle to get together 10 friends to organise a game, but want to play regularly or if you want to supplement your Sunday league games with football in the week or weekend then this is for you.

Birmingham Footy Addicts - New Starter Experience
Joined footyaddicts after moving down to Birmingham, found the whole experience very welcoming and still play regularly.
I find it great for all abilities and the hosts have been nothing but helpful and all inclusive.
I will continue to come down regularly for both the football and the people.

Great app
Easy to join and lots of games to choose from! It's a simple idea but works so well. I've been playing Footy Addicts games for a few years now and met plenty of people who were in the same boat as me. It can be daunting to join on your own but I can't recommend it enough to anyone wanting to play football!

When I need to clear my head, I play with Footy Addicts
I've been playing football since I was a little kid, and it's always helped me get my brain back on track. It's not just the running around and the sweat—it's also the mental part of it. I used to play all the time when I was younger, but as I got older and started working more, it became harder and harder to make time for sports. I've wanted to get back into it, but I haven't found the right time or place. With footy addicts, I can finally carve out some time for myself and join games near me. I have also met many lads whom I can now call friends. Such a brilliant idea and definitely deserves more recognition!

Very dangerous
It's very dangerous to play with people you don't know. There are dirty players who can cause serious harm and there is no filter for who join the games. I have seen an ambulance arriving to take a player to the hospital with a broken foot (twisted in 90 degrees to the side) and I myself had to get surgery after being kicked from behind and will have a disability for life. Better to play with colleagues or mates you know well. Stay safe

All players agree to our Code of Conduct, which clearly prohibits dangerous or reckless behaviour, and we work closely with organisers to ensure games are well-managed and respectful. While injuries can happen in any sport, situations caused by unsafe play are not acceptable, and we always review reports thoroughly and take appropriate action.

It’s 50/50 whether your get a good game. They use fake accounts to boost numbers in games. You go to a game thinking you have right numbers when you don’t. Which is a shame and waste of money

Hello John, sorry to hear about your bad experience. Unfortunately "No shows" is one of the biggest problems we face when organising a game. We have tried to implement features in order to prevent "Unreliable" players from our games but it is something that ultimately is out of our control.

Highly positive experience (almost) all of the time
I have to write in response to the two negative reviews, which both mentioned Paradise Park in Highbury. I've played in probably a hundred games - almost all have been very friendly - across half a dozen Footy Addicts venues. And it is true that Paradise Park can be somewhat feisty, probably because it's a smaller pitch in a more compressed space. However, the vast majority of games are enjoyable and safe, because the vast majority of players are on the platform to play good football.

Changed my life
Honestly footyaddicts changed my life. For someone who is soo addicted to football I never used to play it much, I only watched it a lot. This was because I never found anywhere to play. Once I found out about Footyaddicts I’ve never stopped! I’ve played nearly 300 games in 2 and a half years since I started and it’s opened so much more pathways for me now i.e I’m now playing competitive football for a team of whom I met at a footyaddicts game.
