If I could give minus 10 stars I would! This app is horrible- i somehow got involved with this through some sort of click bait just reading about the program and ended up getting charges for over a year. It was extremely difficult to cancel! I requested a refund - even partial would have been acceptable because I never used this app! Very tricky marketing! Stay away! If you’re going to use weight loss app- go with either noom or weight watchers! - WW is so easy to use and they are honest! The people who run this app are thieves !!!

this app is a scam! imagined up for 1 month and they charged me $70 for a workbook? a workbook for an app? o received nothing and they refused to give a refund bc said i ordered the works book. nothing in the app mentioned a workbook for $70. Save your money

Read the fine print
I signed up for what I thought was a short term, introductory account to the app. I actually liked the app, got a lot out of the articles, and loved the meal tracking.
I did NOT love finding unexpected charges on my credit card after the fact. It is not a short term introductory program, they trap you into recurring charges. There's no correspondence in advance (but it is in the fine print, so read it carefully before enrolling). I asked for a refund, and was firmly told no.
I've cancelled my subscription - which I totally thought was short term.
I think they could do better with being transparent about their charges, recurring nature of fees, and how to cancel. Also, I'll be sure to do more research in advance of signing up for any programs like this - because there are plenty of reviews about Formula mentioning the icky billing practices, and misleading "intro" program.
