ORIGINAL REPLY: Hi Breda, sorry that you have felt we only deserve a 2 star rating for our service, we are a small family run business and take a great pride in our transparency when it comes to shipping costs and delivery times and also the service we provide our customers.
Our website states free delivery for Large Parcel orders over £80 sterling, your order only came to £78.64 sterling once the amount had been exchanged from Euro to Pounds at that days exchange rate, and our website is set to determine shipping charges based on your order total.
DPD delivery was selected at checkout, I'm not sure if this was the cheapest option provided to you as the exchange rate varies I cannot replicate your checkout from that day. However DPD charge us a lot more for delivery than Parcelforce/GLS - which is normally the cheaper option at checkout for our Ireland customers.
As for the delivery time, you placed your order at 10.26pm on Wednesday 26th April, this was dispatched on Thursday 27th April, and travelled through the DPD network, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays are not included as delivery days when we estimate 2-4 days delivery.
Your Parcel was delivered on Thursday 4th May which is 4 'business days' since dispatch as Monday 1st May was a Bank Holiday.
As mentioned before we are a small family business and always take all comments and criticism on board to improve our service and are happy if you want to email us with any suggestions on what you think we can do to make this better. Our email address is sales@forpetzni.co.uk
