We are first time owners and so impressed that this little rescues always finds time to answer our questions.

Run by a crazy lady who harasses everyone who does not accept this slum of a house that she crams dogs into and calling it a rescue. Dogs are beaten and not fed, many die. The place is covered in filth. Her social media posts are just unhinged! Some serious mental health going on with this woman

Another dog escaped onto the busy road outside her house this week. Multiple volunteers have witnessed her abusing, hitting and starving the dogs. Lots of evidence of this and she's got endless court cases pending against her for harassing people. The new positive reviews are her as you can see they're new profiles with only 1 review ever posted. Avoid like the plague.

Sali pets helped me to re home a dog for a disabled client if mine. Don't expect to see lines of lonely dogs isolated in kennels, Sali pets offers something more of personal and homely environment. I get a sense that Sali pets has a genuine and sincere love of dogs. Thank you so much.

I adopted a mixed breed dog. I love the rescue and the love the owner and volunteers have for these animals. We need more rescuers es like Sallipets Dog Rescue.

Wouldn’t even give one star if I’m honest, Rolanda is RUDE and sarcastic, Blocks you when you tell her you can’t adopt a dog that is unsuitable for you and your family. Seen so much bad press about her, probably true.

If only there were more places like this. They had as many dogs as they could take. Breaks my heart knowing people go to breeders instead. This place doesnt euthanise but sad reality is that some have to.

Rehomed a staffie x over 3 months ago. Did an initial 1 week trial which worked out well and went from there. Would recommend.

A few months ago, I contacted Sallipets about adopting a dog. I explained that other rescues wouldn't let me adopt from them as I am disabled - my mobility is very poor. I was so very upset when I was accused by the owner, Rolanda, not only of being a "troll" but also being a fake. Rolanda said that I had blocked her and she posted a screenshot of our dialogue on Messenger but it was obvious for all to see that she had blocked me!!!

This is a genuine review and I can show anyone who is interested screen prints which back up this review. I am neither a troll or a liar and take exception to be called one.

Please proceed with caution because I can see that each and every negative review is duly labelled as fake by Rolanda when, in fact, all those that praise this woman and her 'rescue' are likely to be fake. I have since discovered that Rolanda uses loads and loads of different accounts under various guises.

I am more than happy. Ive struggled to find a dog with rescues as i have a cat. Kai gets along with my cat very well so thanks for saving me from having to go to a breeder.

A ver nice lady. No dogs were in cages but roaming her garden albeit not huge. One dog was on its own but gad the largest area to itself. Seems genuinely a person who rescues.

Finally got a new dog thanks to this place. They pay for neutering aswell.

Every review left less than 5 stars gets reported and removed. Not an honest company avoid using them at all costs.

I’m not sure where all the negative reviews have come from, or the stories about neglected animals and them not being a charity? The lady that runs this rescue is so invested in the welfare of the dogs in her care, our rescue unfortunately didn’t go to plan, as our adopted dog and current dog clashed, she met me half way to drop the dog back to her and you could tell the dog loved her, she was so happy to be reunited, it was lovely to see. The dogs all had access to food, water and enrichment, I think people are too used to going to dog rescues and seeing them all locked in crates rather than free roaming and having fun! The rescue was very invested in making sure there dogs were child friendly, and really understood the impact that a dog can have on them and how useful they can be for autistic children.I hope our paths cross again and we can find a dog that will fit in with our other dog :)

A great experience in funding a dog. She had about a dozen dogs, all healthy and a good weight. Not sure why there are so many vicious lies. Was also impressed that she takes in powerful dogs that no one else seems to take e.g she had multiple mastiffs and in comparison the local last chance only ever has more sellable small dogs.

After contacting various other rescues without success with huge waiting lists and most of them full, I contacted Sallipets when we needed to rehome our family dog we had for just over 3 years, sadly we were working more hours we just couldn't give him the time he needed. Ro was so understanding, caring and kind, she understood our situation. After meeting with her she showed us round her home and we met the dogs in her care which were well looked after.said she would find him a lovely home. She kept us updated all the time with videos and pictures of him and how he was doing. He has now found a lovely family and she has put us in contact so we can see how he's doing.
🙏 please don't believe all the negative comments and trolls that give her such a hard time, Ro is a totally amazing person who would do absolutely anything for the dogs in her care.x thank you so much Ro for all your help and support with our very difficult decision.x

lets begin with diego , hes such a dangerous dog to others he has to live in her van 24/7 ... however rolanda has put him up for rehoming multiple times .. How can you justify leaving a living being alone in a van all night and most of the day . She has NO beds anywhere , cages too small for dogs, takes puppies from travellers on a regular basis and shares the money for rehoming . She uses the services of pdsa to get dogs treatment fraudulently , she is NOT A RESCUE , companies house this is a FOR PROFIT business . She owns multiple properties but since owning the rescue has it gotten better no the place is a dire pit of filth , dogs are all hungry always , most of them look emaciated , she claims they come to her like that .. WHAT ALL OF THEM .. and when they have been with her for a while why are they still emaciated . the woman is profiteering off misery , instead of using some of the money she makes off each dog she gets to improve the place and buy things for the dogs she uses it for her own self . Have a look at the videos for the dogs , do you see toys , bowls of water , beds ... any beds .. cages ... maybe a cage too small here n there and a huge dog crammed into it .. If you support this place you support animal abuse , if you make an excuse for what is happening here , you support animal abuse , if you want to claim the hundreds of people putting up pictures and videos are all trolls then you are plain not smart , sallipets is a rogue rescue on facebook , see the evidence yourself . Support this place and you support a woman who uses the misery of animals for her own financial gain . Theres a special place in hell for her and her supporters

This so called rescue is a disgrace. You can see from outside that some dogs are kept in cars and vans with little room to move. The ones that have freedom are badly looked after and have scars from fighting each other. Needs to be shut down.

Wonderful Rescue ro looks after each dog like its her own and dree roaming in her own home.matches dogs to people lovely what a wonderful place .x

Sallipets has been a cherished resource for my friends, family, and me. It's incredibly user-friendly and makes adopting a lifelong companion straightforward. Our first adoption was Arlo, a delightful Border Collie mix, who joined us three years ago and is now four years old. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our second furry friend, Cleo, a beloved member of our family who passed away at the age of 12. Ro, the kind soul behind Sallipets, had reached out to us to prevent Cleo from being sent to a rescue center, and she spent her final year and a half in the warmth of our home. More recently, Ro introduced us to an exuberant German Shepherd puppy who is now six months old and has brought immense joy into our lives. While I wished to rescue all of her siblings, our space was limited. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Rolanda for the wonderful dogs that have graced our lives.
