I was bombarded with telephone calls, emails, and texts from aggressive mortgage sales people for several days. I thought the system would provide targeted options, but it was a sales campaign that was disheartening and not aligned with my needs.

You need a new appraisal company
You need a new appraisal company. This is the 2nd time I have gotten a low appraisal. When I challenged it, their review shows that I was correct but they refused to make corrections.

Appraisals and reconsideration requests are handled by the lender and its appraisal process, not by FreeRateUpdate. The lender can explain the review decision and any options available.
Underwriting is a nightmare
Multiple requests for more docs, requirements changed, didnt seem to care about the customer experience. Worst home financing I ever had!

Super great to work with but...
Super great to work with but.... within 1 months, 1 they sold my mortgage back to the same nightmare or a mortgage company we had gotten away from..... I did not spent all the time and money to switch companies just to go back..... not happy at all! Ask questions BEFORE you take the plunge.
