This was a present for my daughter, who is very pleased with it, despite Evri losing it for 10days!
I had to keep chasing Evri. Eventually they asked for 72 hours to try to track it down. It finally arrived on Monday 27th April.
My order came quickly and I hope the quality has improved. My last Freetrain vest broke (the magnet fastener) and I was not able to ever get someone from Freetrain to respond to me.

Customer service, on the other hand, is not very helpful and can’t even answer simple questions about the store. The coupons aren’t valid for all countries and/or products. A note about customs would have been helpful—at first, I thought the email from the service provider was a scam attempt—that could be done much better and, above all, in a more customer-friendly way.
That aside - very good.

Thank you for your response to my review on 13/4.
The timeline actually reinforces my point, not yours. I purchased my first vest in 2021 and it failed within a year due to the zip and fasteners rusting shut. I raised this at the time and received the same explanation blaming “user care.”
I then purchased your “upgraded” version in 2022, and the exact same issue occurred again shortly after. That is two separate products failing in the same way, under normal use. That is not a one-off issue and it is not credible to attribute this to misuse.
On both occasions, the vest was cleaned and dried. More importantly, a running vest is specifically designed to be used while sweating. If the product cannot withstand that without critical components corroding to the point of failure, then the materials are simply not fit for purpose.
Relying on the fact that the orders are now several years old avoids the key issue: both products failed far earlier than any reasonable consumer would expect. The age of the order does not change the fact the products did not last.
After the second failure, I didn’t bother complaining again because the response was already clear. I continued using the vest by pulling it on like a t-shirt, as the zip had already rusted shut. The button then seized and has now completely failed.
What is most telling is that despite two identical failures, your position remains to deny any issue and place the blame on the customer, with no meaningful attempt to resolve it.
That speaks for itself.

I recently purchased the FREETRAIN ULTRA 1 vest and overall I’m really impressed with it.
The fit is excellent — it sits snug without bouncing, even on longer runs. It’s lightweight but still feels secure, which makes a big difference when you’re carrying essentials. The material is breathable and comfortable, so it doesn’t feel too hot or restrictive during runs.
The storage is well designed, with easy access to things like your phone, keys, and gels without needing to stop. Everything feels thought through and practical for real running use.
The build quality is also solid and doesn’t feel cheap, so it seems like it will last.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend the ULTRA 1 vest to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable running vest.

The products themselves are perfectly fine and the buying process was smooth enough, but the returns system is unnecessarily frustrating and outdated.
Having to email just to request a return feels like a step backwards, and then being made to dig around for product codes and pay for the return yourself only adds to the irritation. All of this while providing an order number that should already contain every detail needed.
It honestly feels as though the process has been deliberately designed this way to discourage customers from making returns at all.
For a company that gets the basics right, it’s baffling how poorly the returns process is handled.

I was told my product would arrive on a particular date but it was a day late. I reached out via email to see if someone could check the tracking because the info I had was not updating. I got no response. It did arrive a day later. I was concerned that since it was coming from out the country that there was an issue. Like we did when trying to order the last one.

I purchased an original Freetrain vest many years ago and decided I would try something different. Purchased some garbage off Amazon and had to send it back after one use. “You get what you pay for”
I then immediately purchased 2 new vest from freetrain. They are incredible - excellent quality and use.
Do not waste your time on some poor quality garbage - purchase the freetrain gear. It is quality gear, then enjoy your run.
