Shocking company , they took my money from my bank, no receipt , struggling to get this sorted , wount ever order from this company again

Your order was successfully placed and dispatched from our side, however the courier was unable to complete delivery and has returned the parcel to us. This is unfortunately outside of our control, but we have raised it with them for investigation. Please note - this was only raised to us yesterday.

We’ve been in contact with you directly to explain this and to reassure you that a full refund will be issued automatically as soon as the parcel arrives back with us.

Missing items from delivery

I ordered two of the hydro vest one for myself and one for my wife I contacted free train as soon as delivery was made as only one vest had been sent out, it’s been 5 days and this has not been resolved it was said they would look into it but I have still not heard anything from customer service o would not order again!

We’re sorry to hear you felt this wasn’t resolved quickly enough. We can see you first contacted us on Friday afternoon, and as our warehouse team does not operate over the weekend, this was raised with them as a priority on the next working day.

As both items in your order were marked as dispatched, the team needed to carry out an internal investigation, and we did advise of the expected timeframe for this.

We can confirm this has now been resolved & within the specified timeframe provided to you on Friday.

Great Product 100% recommend!

Got them this week and ran everyday with the clothing and it’s a great fit, super comfortable and breathable. Would 100% recommend to anyone who runs a lot. Overall a great range for the price and come in a good range of colours.

Sent the wrong order and the time its…

Sent the wrong order and the time its taking to solve this issue is terrible. Almost as if I am to blame for them sending the wrong items.

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way and would just like to clarify the timeline for transparency.

You first contacted us on 6th March regarding receiving the wrong items, and we provided a free prepaid returns label the same day so the incorrect products could be sent back to us. As advised, we do need the items returned before a replacement can be issued.

We’ve only just received the return tracking from you and can see the parcel was delivered back to our warehouse around 24 hours ago. Our team is now processing this as a priority so the correct items can be sent out as quickly as possible.

We’re always happy to help and appreciate your patience while we resolve this for you.

Prompt shipping and nicely made…

Prompt shipping and nicely made product. I use my V2 vest for mountain biking and it is great. I used to use a waist belt but it was a bit annoying but with the V2 vest my phone is secure, stays where its meant to and I forget Im even wearing the vest.

Hydro vest

I bought a hydro vest and was really pleased with the quality. I’ve still got a v1 running vest from years ago which is still going strong, but wanted something for longer runs with a water holder, this does the job perfectly.

Great quality, really comfortable and really pleased with it.

The hydro vest does come with a water bottle, which I didn’t realise! Could just be me, but might be worth making that clearer on the advert. One is shown in the pics, but can’t recall seeing it anywhere in the description. Was pleased when I got one included.

I fell into the trap of buying a cheap…

I fell into the trap of buying a cheap one of you all know where which was honestly awful. I bought the free train ultra for an upcoming marathon and you don’t even know you’ve got it on your back. The quality is second to none. Don’t buy cheap you’ll buy twice just pay an extra couple of quid and get one of these you won’t regret it

Received incorrect order

Received incorrect order. Customer service not helpful. Requesting images of the packaging that has been binned, even though I have an image of a long sleave top when I ordered a t shirt.

Highly Recommend

I purchased the Freetrain Hydro 2 as a present for my partner who has recently gotten into running. I was previously gifted the original Freetrain vest and have loved it for years, so I figured the updated version would make a great gift.

The Freetrain team has excellent customer service and was communicative and friendly throughout the process. The product itself is great, and if it is anything like my original vest, it will hold up for years and countless miles.

Very impressed with the product, its longevity, and the customer service. Highly recommend.

Never received item. ‘Returned to sender’, chased refund and continually fobbed off. Processed a chargeback from credit card company and then miraculously contacted directly by company begging to cancel the chargeback and they’d refund… not understanding that it wouldn’t have got to that point if they’d have bothered to refund in the first instance. Claim to have quick and continuous customer service, but it’s more ‘lip service’. I’d stick to tried and tested brands in the future.

We’re sorry to read this, as the situation described doesn’t reflect the full context.

When the delivery issue was reported, we immediately raised and escalated an investigation with the courier. The chargeback was opened while that process was still ongoing. At this point you had confirmed your order had been delivered to a neighbour.

Once the return began reconciling, we attempted to process the refund - however this was blocked due to the active chargeback.

To clarify, we did not “beg” for the chargeback to be cancelled. We responded after being contacted and explained that we were unable to issue a direct refund because the funds had already been credited by your card issuer following the dispute. Retailers cannot process an additional refund while a chargeback is active, as this risks duplicate reimbursement.

At no stage did we refuse a refund, and we remained polite, helpful and responsive throughout.

The matter has been submitted to the card issuer for independent review.

Order delayed

I placed my order on Friday, 6/2/2026, and paid for next-day delivery. However, the item was not delivered until 12/2/2026 — almost a week later.

This delay is unacceptable, especially when paying extra for next-day delivery. If next-day service cannot be guaranteed, it should not be offered or charged for. Very disappointing experience

We’re very sorry for the delay, especially after you paid for next-day delivery. Unfortunately, the parcel was incorrectly misrouted by the courier once it left us - one of those rare issues outside our control.
