FreshLearn reneges on the legal terms of their agreement
In 2020, I purchased a lifetime subscription to FreshLearn when it was labelled FreshLMS. That lifetime subscription included in its agreement “lifetime access to FreshLMS” and “all future plan updates” which included certifications and gamification. The company then changed their name to FreshLearn and proceeded to separate the FreshLMS Plan into 3 separate plans, allocating the lowest paid plan to represent my subscription. All I wanted was to create an exam for an in-person class I was going to hold that would allow the students to receive a certificate once they had passed the exam. So I went to my (now) FreshLearn account to try and do this. Imagine my surprise when I found that no certificates (or gamification) were available at my level of the plan and that I would have to purchase a subscription to the next level plan. I contacted support and was told that they appreciated my initial investment but was then pointed to purchase their next level plan at an ongoing cost. This is a very obvious matter of promising something upfront and then acting in bad faith with their initial investors.

Whenever I ask for help, it is available and very helpful. As a layman in the programming field, I feel well supported and the solution is surprisingly simple.

I had questions regarding FreshLearn and was continuing canceling. I reached out to them and was able to schedule an Google Meet appointment to discuss with actual person. The rep did not "sell" me and focused on answering my questions and showed me that I had support.
Do you know another platform that does that?
If I have a question and don't find the answer in the Help section, I email their Support team or ask on their live Chat. They reply straight away and sometimes, even with a video they've specially recorded for my own solution. Which other platform can top that?

I am in the process if migrating my online school from Teachable to Freshlearn. So far the experience has been seamless. Customer support has been available throughout and easily accessible, setup video calls have been timely, clear and helpful. The FreshLearn representative was very patient and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to resolve my concern on the first call.
Worst experience I've ever had with a SAAS
Their lack of a free trial + no refunds made FreshLearn just a money hole for us. The sales page design tools are outdated, and the integration options were poor.
After attempting to setup my account for 12 hours I requested they cancel my account, and to refund me. It took them a week to respond and they just asked me questions like "What integration were you looking for?" I would answer, they would take a week to respond with another question. Finally they said they cancelled the account, but it rebilled anyway. A year later, they billed me on their annual plan. When I emailed them again about this, they said they can't cancel the account, that can only be done inside the dashboard by myself, and that they have a no refund policy.
