SCAM Beware! I ordered the "buy one get one free" offer on the socks plus a pair of insoles from the website, thinking it was a trustworthy uk business. Eventually my order arrived from China! It contained only one pair of socks not two as it should have and no insoles, to top it off the one pair of socks i received had a hole in one foot and a ladder in the other! Have asked for a full refund...will update if I receive it! I would steer clear.

*Update* appalling company, total criminals! won't refund my holey socks unless I post them back to China...absolute rip off and liars! Grrrr

The socks did initially make a difference. I wore them for a week and then stopped. When the pain came back I started to wear them again - but they quickly started to fall apart with holes in the heel. When I contacted the company they would not offer a replacement or refund contrary to UK consumer law. I’ve since discovered that these socks are available elsewhere for a fraction of the price, so this company is selling them at a huge mark up and making out they are different to the generic pairs available from other sellers. Don’t be fooled as I was.

Order more than doubled, by functionalsocks.com without my agreement. I ordered 2 pairs of socks . The order confirmation increased my order to 5 pairs. I rang them 10 mins after receipt of confirmation email and was told it was too late to do anything about it. The (small/medium) socks that were delivered are too loose to be effective but to claim the advertised full refund I need to pay postage to China- simply not worth it

I ordered and the advert promised ‘express delivery.’ 23 days later snail mail arrived after I had written several times to the company, and been fobbed off with empty promises. Not impressed.

I wish I had read the other reviews first. I was surprised they took so long to arrive, until I saw they came from China. I was stupid to believe the long advert about it being a family business and curing plantar fasciitis. The socks do not feel tight enough…. I bought S/M and I have wide size 7 feet. I have worn them overnight and my feet are aching this morning like they always do. I won’t bother returning them as it sounds like a big scam and will cost more money. Lesson learned.

Functional socks give my right foot relief from the weird sensations I’ve had, a combination of sciatica and post brain injury. They’re easy to put on, leave the toes free, which I like, and they seem to be lasting well. I wear them day & night.

My feet used to feel like they were on fire with neuropathy affecting me every day (and night) I originally came across the Functional Aid web site accidentally whilst looking for something to help give me some relief. I'll be honest, I was a little sceptical at first but I was at the point I'd try anything. So I sent for a pair of Functional socks. The rest is history as the saying goes. Within an hour or so of putting them on for the first time, I could start to feel relief in my feet, after wearing them regularly every night I now feel I've got my life back. I've just bought two more pair of black functional socks and will continue to wear them often ... What a relief. Thank You.

Absolutely love these socks. They have been a game changer for me. I am a truckdriver and the pain in my feet were making it impossible to sleep. My wife brought me a pair of these socks and within 10 minutes of putting the relief was truly amazing. I now have 3 pairs and will probably buy more. Thank you so much. The only negative was the check out process.. My wife pays for everything with PayPal and the pages said it was available but this shop payment kept coming up so she signed in as a guest and there was paypal. Now she knows to just log in as a guest we have had no more problems. Again thank you so much for an absolutely awesome product.

Purchased compression socks for my husband, as it stated on website they would cure plantar fasciitis, with a refund if not happy with the product. After 2 months of wearing them no improvement was made, so contacted them about refund i was instructed to return the product using tracking service to China which cost further £10
I have had no replies to any emaiIs I have sent chasing my refund, please do not waste your money on these socks, customer service is shocking. If there was a minus star that's what they would get!!

Customer service is appalling. Quality of products is below par and I have contacted customer service on 6 occasions now as part of their 90 day guarantee to send them back for a refund but I am now being ignored! Avoid!! Quality is poor and customer service is even worse!

I placed on order on Dec 3rd and my M/C was charged $63.45 for 2 more pairs of socks and a 3 pack of insoles. The only thing I got was an email from Dave with a welcome letter and order confirmed. No one seems to have answers as to where my order is

Think its a bit early to tell but wearing them to bed for a few nights,did seem to give me some relief

The functional aid socks have helped ease my plantar faciitus pain I wear them every day and cannot believe the difference they have made. Easy ordering system, prompt delivery and good service overall

What a difference these socks have made. I am 100% pain free unless I spend several days constantly on my feet but even when the pain does come it no where near as bad as it was. I was very sceptical when i bought them but also at my wits end but I can honestly say they have made a massive difference. I can 1000% recommend them without hesitation

Two things stand out about the socks, firstly I only wear them at night and they keep feet warm whatever the weather, second, no hobbling around until feet get 'loosened up', fine immediately & no pain. An added plus, they have been washed many times and still standing up well. Great product, works well.

I thought these socks were probably a gimmick, I bought them anyways thinking £19 isn’t too much to lose if they didn’t work. I’ve suffered with foot and nerve pain and plantar fasciitis for over 15 years. In the mornings I walk to the bathroom like an ancient zombie.

I wore the socks overnight and I actually can’t believe that I walked without pain. I honestly can’t believe how quickly they have helped me! NO PAIN, NO TINGLING or STINGING and walking like my feet are brand new.

I’ve recommended them to all the people I know who suffer with foot pain.I bought the insoles and used them in my boots, I took the ‘prescription’ insoles out and replaced them with functional aid insoles. After a full day I’d usually be hobbling around, however I felt like I was floating in my boots. It’s like walking on air and I’m not crippled at the end of the day. So I bought the gloves for me and my husband, nothing has ever helped him or me but once again the gloves have certainly reduced the swelling and pain in our arthritic hands.

100% genuine and worth every single penny!!!

They do take a wee while to be delivered, but be patient because they’re definitely worth the wait. I’m already saving up for the knee massager.

I was sceptical that these socks would make a difference but I’m definitely a convert. They have taken away the discomfort my lower legs were experiencing at night and give me a comfortable night’s sleep. I’ve purchased extra pairs and both deliveries were received promptly.
