Good find
Great communication, with an offer of delivering the furniture a day earlier to fit in with our prior arrangements. Instructions were clear and easy to understand and table essy to assemble. Furnature looked well made and solid. I can't comment any further on the furniture as it went straight under covers to protect it during the coming winter. Would definitely use this company again.

Love my bench
I contacted Sloane and Sons as I was looking for a memorial bench. I spoke to Edward in the first instance and then Callan they could not have been more polite, kind and helpful. The bench was delivered by Dan yesterday and he was also very kind. He manhandled the bench into place for me and it looks lovely. I am so pleased. I would definitely recommend this company and would definitely use them again

Sometimes its when things go wrong true colour's come out .Bought two benches one one was damaged .The other was perfect and recommended. 3 pictures and an email and replacement sent .Could not ask for better customer service. 10/10

Good quality Teak Garden furniture
My experience with this company was efficient, with good communication, great product quality, and speedy delivery. I ordered the Burford 3 seater sofa and a teak patio coffee table with a large protective cover from Gardenbenches.com. The order went through quickly, and the items arrived at my home just two days later. The delivery driver was very helpful in getting the items into my garden.
The furniture quality is really good and as described. It was not flat-packed, which was a relief, and could be immediately put into place in my garden. There is a 12 month warranty on all items.
There was a small mix-up over the delivery date, but Edward Sloane and Callan handled this professionally; with great communication sorting things out.
I got a sale price plus the Black Friday discount on all items, which made the sofa an extremely good deal. The Burford 3 seater sofa, with the sale price and extra Black Friday discount, was £561.75. However, note that the protective item, the "Cover For Burford 3 Seater Sofa" (Large Bosmere Ultimate Protector), is also listed as available on Amazon for what is essentially its normal price (£44.35).
I would recommend this company for really good quality teak garden furniture at a genuine sale price, speed of delivery, and good communication both on email and phone.

Excellent Products and Top Notch Service
Sloane & Sons are an excellent company to deal with. Their products are top quality, prices very competitive and their customer service is excellent.
Having had one Lutyens 3 seater chair delivered, I was so impressed with it that I bought another and was, again, delighted with the experience.
Edward and Callan are very helpful and customer friendly. Deliveries are rapid and on time. They just keep their promises!
I wish more companies were like this.

Dubious delivery practices
Sadly although the quality of the bench I ordered is very good and would have merited 5 stars, there are some extremely dubious business practices being employed by the delivery firm, DHL in this case. The order confirmation from Sloane and sons states very clearly that the delivery “must be checked’ on delivery otherwise you cannot make a claim for any damage.
Today my bench was delivered (Order #GBM041272). The delivery man didn’t ring the bell (I was in), left the bench in the porch and a subsequent email from DHL has my name as having accepted it. Complete fiction. Luckily there was no damage in this case, but shocking business practice as I would have been liable for any damage!

I ordered a bench from this company…
I ordered a bench from this company some weeks ago and despite a claim that they provide next day delivery it never arrived. They blamed DHL for the problem but in the end after numerous promises of delivery which never happened I asked for a refund. After another week of waiting I still haven't received a refund. I would not recommend this company until they change their delivery company

What a disaster this has been – and I completely understand your frustration.
While the blame largely lies with DHL’s gross mishandling, the contract is ultimately with us, and we take full responsibility for the inconvenience and poor experience you’ve endured. Please accept my sincerest apologies.
I want to assure you that your feedback – along with similar concerns from other recent customers – has prompted us to urgently review our courier partnerships. We are now in active discussions with FedEx to take over our logistics, as it’s clear that DHL has overextended themselves operationally and are no longer meeting the standards we require. That said, their lack of communication is inexcusable, and we are treating this matter with the seriousness it deserves.
To clarify, our deliveries are typically set to be left in a safe place without requiring customers to be home – something that works well in 90% of our 600 weekly consignments. Unfortunately, that clearly wasn’t the case here.
Regarding your refund request from Friday, October 3rd – I can confirm it was processed, and per our terms, it should reflect back on your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
We truly hope this experience hasn’t put you off completely. Should you give us another try in future, we’d be happy to arrange delivery via our own team if we’re in your area.

Henley Bench Three Seater
I recently purchased a Henley Teak Commercial Bench 3 Seater 1.5m from Sloane & Sons to replace an existing teak bench. The standard of both materials and construction used in the Henley bench is much superior and if I say we are pleased with our purchase then that is an understatement. I have no hesitation in recommending Sloan & Sons, the whole process from order to final delivery was handled extremely professionally and I was kept informed throughout the whole process.

Good all round experience
Reviewing the various options on the web, and having spoken to the company we decided to purchase 2 flat Armed Benches. I prefer to speak to people as an elderly OAP as opposed to ordering on line. Placed order with Dan, most helpful, date booked. Items arrived via Freightliner, driver was most help in unloading and taking away pallet and outer wrapping. Putting together was simple, just needed a soft headed mallet to tap dowels in, and screwdriver for 4 screws. Many thanks team.

Excellent Turnberry bench & service
Excellent service from start to finish, and a lovely teak bench. The customer service was friendly and efficient. When I emailed a question after their published hours, an immediate reply came back from Ed, their MD, which was impressive in itself!
I had chosen my delivery date, DHL tracking was very easy, and delivery on time.
The wood and bench are lovely, surpassing my expectations, and easy to assemble. The Turnberry is sold as ergonomic and comfortable, and it certainly is. I would recommend the product, the company, and I would buy again. Even the price was good, buying in the sale!

I had a really good experience with Sloane and Sons. The bench was on back order, I was slightly concerned I had not seen an email with a delivery date when they came back in stock. An email to them requesting a delivery date resulted in a quick reply with a date.
The bench arrived bang on time, well wrapped and easy to assemble.

Superb Two Seater Lutyens bench,outstanding service
Not only superb quality benches but it is the outstanding personal service that I received from the team. They were most helpful in reassuring me in regard to the quality, advising where I could view local installations-Elvaston Castle. They went the extra mile in helping me with assembly and advising when to expect my delivery. The accessories are great-the cover and bench cushion. Absolutely brilliant
I ordered a 180cm Henley bench on the 15/7 with extras. The bench arrived on the 17/7 complete with a beautifully engraved plaque. Delivery was to a Bowls Club in a public park which is never an easy task but all worked brilliantly (kudos to pallet force for that one) Everyone very impressed with the style and quality of the bench and cushion. So much so that the following week I ordered a total of 6 cushions for the benches we already have. These arrived just 4 days later as another one had to be made.
Fantastic service (thanks to both Callan and Ed) and 1st class merchandise.
