I ordered a Lumix camera for my daughter's birthday. The pricing offered was significantly better than the RRP. The online order process was easy enough. I received support regarding a technical question I had from James accurately and in quick time. The delivery date was not met. When I used the Post Office tracking service, it did not appear to have been received even though I had a despatch notification. I contacted James and he sorted things out, but there was a significant delay and it didn't reach us until past the birthday. The product wasn't accompanied by instructions in English and when turned on was in Japanese mode. We downloaded the instructions easily enough instead and turned it to English. I was hounded somewhat to leave a review - several phone calls and messages. They were polite enough though. The product was signficantly cheaper than others on the market. Was it worth the problems? - I'm not sure.

delayed, delayed, delayed. I have not received the lens and costumer service kept saying next week . after more than one month i had to cancel the order

Excellent prices for genuine products. At these prices it's absolutely well worth the relatively short wait for top notch products...... my advice is if you desparetly want next day delivery then go elsewhere AND PAY DOUBLE!!
Well satisfied with my purchase (Canon R-10) which I registered with Canon without any problems whatsoever. Will be looking to make further purchases from GearClix.

Ordered item 26/10/25, chased up on 9/11/25 and was assured would be dispatched within 7 days. Chased up 24/11/25 and still hadn’t been dispatched. Advised would be sent wc 1/12/25 and offered me 2% discount. I Cancelled order at this point as no longer trusted would get my item. Refund will take another 7-10 days if I get that.

Made purchase. Received email they may be quiet for 10 days preparing the order but it'll be with you within time stated.
I contacted after 11 day for an update only to be told sorry your order hasn't been sent yet. This will take a further 10 to 14 days.
Missed the deadline for our event so we canceled order then it took a further 7 days for the refund to reach my account.

This company is NOT based in Bristol as we are made to believe. It's just a UK office address.

All in all 3 weeks were completely wasted here with Gearclix with our funds tied up..!

I ordered a Sony A7RV from GearClix as the price was unbelievable and ordered for collection at the Bristol address as it’s close by.
However seeing that the reviews “after” making an order did fill me with dread…

What I would say is that “James” at GearClix responded to emails albeit after a day or two, and the lady I spoke with on their contact number did call me back when she said she would.

My collection date was the 17th however this was delayed to the 21st due to customs, and then again to the 24th. This was CLEARLY communicated to me via email, no issues.

On collection day, the staff at the collection point called me to say it was ready. Slightly perplexed to arrive at a convenience shop and be handed the camera over the counter. The gentleman said that it was just the “pick up point” even though it’s the listed address on the website for contact.

Clearly it’s a new business, with a few teething problems not helped by customs. But the gear is legit, the price is great and if you can hold tight for a couple of weeks for the order to be ready then it’s a winner.

Cons:
- communication could be faster
- delivery times should be more realistic
- feeling like “have I been conned” until the parcel arrived (caused by other reviews…)

Pros:
- great prices
- friendly service
- legit gear
- simple pickup process
- growing business

I’ll certainly order more gear, but for collection and not delivery.

GearClix may have the best pricing, but now only 57 % of their customers have given them 5 Stars, this should tell us all enough about this company!!!!

I sent this company two emails & phoned them twice about this camera. Todate they have never responded and this now dates back to the 30th Oct 25!!!

Therefore in view of the above, I had no other option than to purchase my camera from their competitor.

Admittedly they were slightly dearer, however, they delivered my camera within 5 workings days. I am so pleased that I did this in view of all the negative reviews on Gearclix!!! In my opinion this was a no brainer, as I had no aggravation or inconvenience!!!!!!

Very good experience, both camera and lens are superb, would highly recommend to anyone who wants to save on price, only downside was delivery times however James was superb on communication when I contacted in relation to delivery times, I will be using Gearclix again for any future purchase's

Not sure what’s gone wrong but after 3 missed delivery dates, was promised that it would be shipped within 7 working days direct from their warehouse to my door and a 2% refund for my trouble. Surprise, surprise, number 4 dispatch date missed 7 working days later, no update or refund.
Have tried contacting them about it but have had no response.
When you spend £2600 with a retailer, you expect to be treated sensibly.
Shame really as have previously bought a lens from them with no issues.

I ordered a Fujifilm XT30 II from GearClix at a great price. Shipping took longer than originally anticipated but I received regular updates from James and was even given a discount due to the delay. Definitely recommend :)

Took a punt as best price found for new Nikon Coolpix P1100. Slight delay in delivery but compensated for by further reduction in price. Absolutely delighted with product - fabulous results on recent trip to Zambia. Would recommend.

Very good camera at very reasonable price

First rate service at a very competitive price. The camera and lens arrived a little later than anticipated but I was kept informed as to the progress all the time. I would recommend the company.

purchased canon R7 + Canon RF 100-500 Lens Great price had no problems turned up a little late but was worth it contacted james allways there to help will 100% use again.

Hi ordered a nikon p1100 on the 8th October still have not received the item now the 18th November correspondence from James absolutely rubbish and have messaged him on numerous occasions with various answers coming back but outcome useless so what can I say other than not a good service at all

I ordered a camera a couple of weeks ago for a trip I have soon, and it stated it would be 10 days delivery which I was fine with at the time. I’d seen no postage update so I messaged several times, through email, Facebook and Instagram, and called, before finally hearing back yesterday. James said it was still going to be an additional 10 days and said if that was not ok they could offer a refund. I replied and asked for a refund and have now not heard back again. I’ve never had customer service this bad

When you order over £1000 of equipment you expect it to be delivered. That did not happen to me, despite repeated requests for a firm delivery date. No explanations, no apologies. Of course, if they keep customer money in a high-interest account rather than using it to pay the wholesalers, that could be a profitable enterprise.
A search of Companies House reveals that Gearclix Limited is a private limited company with a startup capital of £100. This bears no relation to the value of the goods listed for sale on the website. The sole director is listed as resident in Canada, so your chances of resolving a complaint are pretty limited.

I bought a Fujifilm XT-50 camera. The product was as described. I am happy with the purchase, although I had to wait a bit longer than initially stated at the time of purchase, about two weeks, but everything arrived fine, as it should.
