Great experience from bits

Really happy with this company, great way to build credit sensibly.

Definitely worth having the bits app, it’s very reliable and when you need it most it is there. There has been many times where I’ve run out of bread or milk and it has saved our mornings or bedtime bottles.

Bits is a good credit card to have if your credit isn’t the best
But it’s pretty stressful paying it back every week and the £14 a month subscription is expensive
I’d recommend this for short term use
But the main issue is you can never get passed the AI bot if you need help
And even when I emailed them to close my account it was another AI email I recieved to confirm it would be closed
They need to sort out the customer service side a little bit to be honest

I had a few questions to ask on how this works and Max made sure to go into full detail and not just skip past certain answers , this was very very helpful and solved the queries i had.

I have tried to get them to hear me but they use their unregulated status to refuse common decency. I was unable to log in to my account for months due to their error. I changed my card so the paymeng couldn't be taken from it so it was showing as a missed payment on my credit file.
They did cancel the account (which i had not access to so was pointless) which at least stopped further missed payments that were impossible for me to pay. They have refused to amend the missed payments saying that this is not possible on a credit file, it is, they are now keeping inaccurate data on a credit file which I have reported to the credit agencies, I am also complaining to trading standards, which they are regulated by as I had no access to the account so was being charged what they call a subscription fee for something I could not access.
Seems like a great offer when you first see it, it isn't and they use their unregulated status as a way to not help and treat you less than human for their own errors.
I am still reporting to FOS as they have regulated products and also, I am not sure, given the way they are managing this if their subscription service is correct either.

Leenesh helped me to sort out an issue promptly and in a way I could understand. I was very pleased with how easy it is to get help and support from Bits. Due to my mental health I struggle to use the telephone and prefer email/text and they allowed this to be possible. I am a very happy customer

Bits is absolutely fantastic! It’s been a great teaching tool for me on how to use credit responsibly after being irresponsible with credit and racking up debt. In this instance, despite me still being in a lot of debt I have now actually managed to get a credit card with Bits! It’s a slow process to get it- at the very least 30 days… However I am now more careful with my money and becoming more aware of my financial concerns.

I have been in contact with a member of the team called Vay. They have been so lovely to me and supportive of my personal situation which is affecting my ability to manage my Bits Money account. They were quick at responding to my emails and were genuinely so kind and understanding of my circumstances with no judgement at all!
