Outstanding customer service
I booked bus tickets with GetbyBus on line but, unfortunately, I never completed the transaction so the tickets were not issued.
I emailed Customer Services and Ella replied very quickly explaining what had happened and, despite what my bank said, she reassured me I had not been charged so I was able to rebook without any worries. Such a change being able to liaise with a human being and one that could not have been more helpful. Will certainly use this company again.

Excellent company.
Get by bus is probably the best company to use in Thailand. Booking online is simple and value for money. E-tickets are sent back immediately and when I had a problem ( due to my own fault) with my return ticket they had it sorted out without any issues. Well done to everybody 👏👏👏

Really incredibly unsatisfactory, slow and unprofessional
So far I'm waiting for an issue to be resolved. To summarise:
Booked ticket via getbybus *which is an intermediary broker and not the transport provider* for travel between Aswan- Luxor- Hurghada (Egypt) on saturday 15th Feb for travel this morning 17th Feb- involving several connections. The provider 'Trip Egypt' still had not contacted me by mid afternoon Sunday 16th. I got standard algorithm generated response and no human being.
Somewhat predictably no-one turned up to collect me from the designated departure spot at 5am. Finally at 5.38am I received a whatsapp message from an anonymous person asking where I was. I told him/her that I'd left as they were 40 minutes late.
I was forced to find alternative (very expensive) travel options in order to make my connections. I am still waiting to hear from Getbybus. At this point I am being asked to prove that the transport company did not get in touch with me (I have eventually managed to send the whatsapp screen shot via email, for some reason my phone won't do this, I suspect not enough storage etc).
I think it's both astonishing and highly unprofessional that Getbybus are asking ME to prove that I had no contact. Instead of believing me, and in the process I've spent a good few hours contacting them. Given that I alerted them to the problems BEFORE I travelled- having heard nothing from the transport provider, it's fairly self evident.
Overall I've used Getbybus three times. Twice it's been easy and fine (with larger established transport providers like national bus companies.) My experience with Pharoah Fleet Travel, or Trip Egypt (I have conflicting information on whatsapp and the ticket) has been abysmal and I'm really very angry.
Oh and by the way I'm disabled.

Håller med de flesta som skrivit angående Get your bus. UNDVIK detta företag.
Köpte en biljett för att åka från Khao Sok till Bankok i Thailand. Vid köpet skulle vi ange upphämtningsplats. Tyvärr tvingades vi byta hotell innan vi ens anlänt till Khao Sok, varför vi meddelade bussbolaget vår nya adress. Då meddelade de oss att vår biljett var ogiltig och vi inte kunde få pengarna tillbaka. Då jag kontaktade dem och undrade vad som var ett problem med hotellbyte, speciellt som vi gett dom den informationen 6 dagar före vi skulle utnyttja vår redan betalda biljett. Dom ändrade sig då och menade på att dom var otroligt gentila som gått med på vårt hotellbyte. Något som jag betraktar som en självklarhet,att informera och säkerställa så att de inte kommer till fel ställe för pickup.
Efter detta så började en mailkonversation med dagliga mail under säkert 10-15 dagar bara för att få svar på vilket klockslag och var dom skulle hämta oss. Till saken hör att vi bodde långt utanför Khao Sok och vägen dit gick bara att åka på med en 4 hjulsdriven bil. Därav erbjöd jag dem att komma via egen transport till aktuell busstation för att ansluta till bussen till Bangkok. Allt jag ville veta var vilken busstation vi skulle åka till och vilken tid vi skulle vara där. De kunde inte ge ett klart svar på denna enkla fråga som lätt löst alla problem, både för dem och oss. Nej de skulle hämta oss en halvtimme före bussens avgång från busstationen på vårt svårtillgängliga hotell. En halvtimme före avgångstid var för kort tid att fixa oss med bussen, något jag påpekade för dem, utan god respons.
När sedan upphämtningsdagen kom och vi försäkerhets skull var beredda 1,5 timma före den oprecisa tidpunkt de lämnat till oss för pickup, tror ni att de kom då? Nej inte ett spår av dem. De påstår att vi inte var på plats. Men det var vi, möjligtvis var dom på en annan plats än den överenskomna men vi var på rätt ställe. De vägrar att erkänna att dom gjort något fel och lägger hela skulden för att saker gått fel på mig.
Detta var en lång historia men jag orkar inte skriva om alla negativa detaljer som hänt i kontakten med Get your bus. Det enda dom gjort rätt är att dom svarat på mina mail iallafall, svar som bara var förvirrande och där dom förnekar att de har gjort något som helst fel från deras sida. Denna konversation har pågått mellan 25 januari 2025, då vi köpte biljetterna till 06 februari då jag lägger ner det hela och väljer att avsluta diskussionen med dem då det är meningslöst att försöka få dem att erkänna att de gjort något fel och att betala tillbaka våra pengar.
Ser att de har många omdömen som ger dom 1 stjärna. Mitt omdöme är att dom är enbart värda NOLL 0,00000 stjärnor. Så undvik detta miserabla blufföretag.

Ett litet tillägg till min story: Under dialogen med Get your bus blev vi uppmanade att ringa till deras partner; bussbolaget som skulle utföra transporten till Bankok. Detta för att med dem få reda på när och var de skulle hämta upp oss. Problemet var bara att ingen någonsin svarade på detta telefonnummer som de uppgav, utom en gång och då lade de på telefonen i örat på mig direkt innan jag fått förklara mitt ärende. Detta pågick under flera dagar före vi skulle resa med bussen och när vi satt och väntade den dagen de skulle hämta oss på avtalad plats. Inget svar och Ingen service där heller. Sedan för att jag skulle få gehör för mina klagomål hos Get your bus krävde de att jag skulle bevisa att jag ringt till bussbolaget. Något jag tillslut nödigt kunde göra, men då kom dom med andra undanflykter. Detta var också erbarmligt dåligt skött av ett bolag som säger sig värna om kundens bästa och ge bra service.
Slutsats: Fullständig katastrof. Undvik Get your bus som pesten. 0,000 stjärnor till dem.

Ofcours I was asking for the adress to the busstation and what time I should be there because I should go there by my self to take the bus in time for departure. I was telling you that the road to my pick up place was in a real bad kondition so you had to come there by a 4 weeldriven car, a minivan should have been imposible to drive that road. IF YOU had given me the adress to the busstation I had easy camed there and that way save everyone a big problem. But you nerver gave me that information, even that I asked for that several times. It more looks like you did not accept us come there, you once again should cancel my ticket if I did so
The most intresting thing in your answer to me is that you totaly awoding to give an answer of why noboddy was coming to pick us up at the place we lived at: Khaosok Evergreen House, around 14:00 the day we where waiting for you to come there. Your partner the buscompany should come to our hotel at least 30 minuts before departure whitsch was 14:30. We where waiting there from 13:00 intill 15:15 but noone showed up. Can you please answer this last question.

This company are involved with scammers and criminals
Update on my complaint.
The company has no intention of refunding us for the trip. They've gone as far as to question if what we were reported was true. The experience with the bus company and these people has been horrendous.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you can avoid it.
This company are involved with scammers. The bus didn't take us to the bus terminal in Krabi, Thailand instead a backstreet where we were dropped off, threatened, intimidated and scammed out of money to be able to leave the area. I'm dealing with GetByBus to try to request a refund and they're denying all knowledge of what went on. I'm having to prove we were targeted by criminals. They are currently saying its up to the bus company to decide on a refund. I don't agree as legally they took the money and arranged the service. Having looked on trip advisor can see we aren't alone in our experience. Still pushing for a refund. Don't use this company.

Scammers - Avoid booking with them
If you can avoid booking with them, please do so. I booked a bus ticket from Marrakesh to Agadir with getbybus.com and payment was confirmed and they issued a ticket on their website. The ticket did not mention the address for the bus station at Marrakesh but they said they work mainly with 2 bus terminals. They also said they’d send me an email however they mentioned that the email would take longer than usual to arrive in my inbox.
I waited for a couple of hours for the email and since I did not receive the ticket on email, I decided to print the ticket they had issued on the website. It had a ticket number but no details on the full departure address which I assumed were to be sent on email. I arrived the first bus terminal an hour before departure to make sure I was in the right place. They told me I wasn’t. I went to another bus terminal which was the right address for the bus company mentioned on the ticket however to my shock, they did not recognise the booking and neither did they even have such a ticket number on their list of bookings.
I went to the getbybus website to contact customer support which they had mentioned is a 24hr service. There was no number to call or anything. Basically no way to get to them. The bus company had never heard of them and informed us they do not work with them. Decided to buy another bus ticket over the counter as I made hotel reservations and other bookings in Agadir which would cost me more if I missed the bus.
If this review can help anyone thinking of booking with getbybus, please don’t! It’s a scam.
