I bought a Bissell vacuum with a 1-year extended warranty from GINNY'S atTHE END OF AUGUST GOT it the beginning of SEPTEMBER LITTLE BY LITTLE I NOTICED THE BOTTOM HERE WAS COMING OUT SO I NEEDED TO GET A NEW FILTER I CALLED BISSELL THEY DON'T MAKE THEM ANYMORE IT'S AN OLD MODEL THEY DON'T MAKE THE PARTS YOU CAN ONLY WASH THE FILTER SO MANY TIMES BEFORE IT STARTS TO FALL APART SO I CALLED THE COMPANY THEY TOLD ME TO CALL THE WARRANTY AND I CAN EITHER GET A VACUUM THAT'S ABSOLUTELY AND CAN'T GET PARTS OR GET $200 CREDIT FOR GINNY'S SO I WAS TOLD I SIGNED THE WARRANTY I CALLED THE ORDER IN I WAS ASKED IF I WANTED A WARRANTY AND I SAID YES SO I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE WARRANTY ENTAILED AND I SIGNED NOTHING!!! THEY'RE A SCAM ALL I SAY IS BEWARE OF THEM AND THEIR AFFILIATED COMPANIES AND I WOULDN'T GIVE GINNY'S ANY STARS BUT YOU CAN'T WRITE THE REVIEW

Had a credit card and order from here and said make a down payment and took the whole amount of $504.00 the order and cancel the order and now having a hard time getting a refund I will be taking my business some where else

Poor. No customer service response. I need to return product they sent in wrong size. Horrible no calls answered. I’m so upset,

I guess I dodged a bullet, because I placed an order with them that they didn't fulfill. It just sat there, unshipped, until I reached out to them to ask what was up.

They responded that I needed to put a down payment on my order, but there was no link to make a down payment on their website. So I asked them to either send me a link for that -- so I could see whether the down payment was reasonable and proceed with the order -- or to cancel the order for me.

They responded, "We canceled your order as requested." Without even addressing the fact that I asked for a link to see what the down payment was!

Not to mention, when I go on the website, it still looks like my order is pending. So now I have to waste my time clarifying that.

Their customer service is confusing and not helpful, and now that I see the reviews on this site, I can see that it is a very good thing they didn't fulfill my order. But I'm bummed to have wasted my time! I could have ordered from somewhere else and had what I wanted at my doorstep by now, rather than wasting my time on this crummy website.

I knew the items were overpriced and the shipping is ridiculous, but I wanted to be able to space my payments out rather than paying for these furniture items up front.

In the end, I'm happy to just go ahead and pay in full elsewhere and actually receive my items, plus get some decent customer service.

I had the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE in my entire life !!! I called 5 times to check on the status of a replacement item. The first time that I spoke to someone, we could barely hear one another because there was so much noise in the background. Then she hung up on me after I was holding 15 minutes. The last person I spoke with " Rose" told me more ir less to be quiet because I already told her a whole paragraph, and she didn't want to hear anything else ( pretty much). They gave me 4 dates for my package arrival date.I thought I was talking to the Three stooges!!! I will be writing the company for sure !!!

I knew Ginny's was a rip off but my daughter needed snow boots and my son needed a heater, since someone stole is, so I used Ginny's because my credit was not great at the time. They are a rip off for sure. The prices are inflated, shipping costs are high and they do NOT offer free shipping and most reviews of their products receive 1-3 stars. They take advantage of people with poor credit and overcharge them because they can get away with it. Shameless, is what desribes this shady, greedy company preying on those who are already struggling.

Ginny's is just a bunch of bad actor scammers that will steal your identity, will open a credit account in your name, and will send you items you purportedly ordered and never received, and then they will threaten to trash your credit score, your ability to purchase a car, your ability to obtain employment, your ability to obtain housing if you don't pay up. Sounds pretty cancerous to me.

Here is what I did to combat this fraudulent company:

File a identity theft/fraud complaint with Identifytheft.Gov, your State's Attorney General, and the three Credit Bureau's, Experian, Equifax and TransUnion.

Then contact the three credit bureau's and put a freeze on your credit report.(Creditors now cannot open an account without your consent).

Then place a fraud alert with the three credit bureaus on your Ginny's account.

It does take some time and effort, but it was worth it. I didn't get scammed $525 and my trashed credit score was restored back from 662 to 818.

More than likely Ginny's will then close your account and walk away from their scam.

This has been extremely difficult dealing with this company. It should have been a pleasant experience because someone gifted me two gift certificates! Instead of it being a seamless transaction, it was not and they nickel and dime you for everything. I will not be buying from this company again. Unfortunately, I still have $$ left on my gift certificate, that will not be used. Inferior products, along with inferior service.

I just made some purchases from ginnys.com, and then I found the same items EVERYWHERE ELSE where they were $100, $50 and $10 cheaper. I then emailed ginnys to get more info and this is their response: Per ginnys customer service email to me :
"If you find the exact same item for a lower price somewhere else, don't buy it there. We'll match it! Just call in your order and tell us where you found it. Already ordered? No worries. You have 14 days to contact us, show us the competitor's price, and get a refund for the difference." THEY SAY THEY WILL MATCH THEIR COMPETITORS PRICE, BUT THIS IS A MISLEADING LIE. I JUST CALLED TO GET MY SO CALLED PRICE MATCH AND WAS TOLD THAT GINNYS DOES NOT HONOR ANY PRICE FROM ANY BOX STORE (AND SHE WENT ON WITH A LIST WHICH BASICALLY RULES OUT ANYONE ON THE PLANET WHO SELLS THE SAME ITEM)- UNLESS ITS ONE OF THEIR 'AFFILIATES'! I WISH I NEVER ORDERED FROM GINNYS, THEY ARE BAIT AND SWITCH THIEVES! I then left a negative review for one of the items I was told that I would get the price match for, and soon after received an email from them stating that they were 'moderating my review' and would not be publishing it. So, I am publishing it here. Ginny's is so dishonest! After I pay off this account I'm closing this account. Overpriced, useless customer service and thieves.

Nov 30,2021 - My credit limit is over $2K. Zero balance, never a late payment. I just placed an order for a modest few hundred bucks a week ago for gifts. I got a letter in the mail yesterday that they couldn't pull my credit (I locked it), and so my order couldn't be processed... huh? Why do you need to check my credit for an existing open account in excellent standing? I emailed them and asked them to cancel the order. Never again! From the reviews on other sites I see that they are doing this to other customers as well. Also, from my past experience, if you write a less than 5 star review, they offer a partial refund to you and DO NOT post the review at all. That is not honest. A lot of items are also overpriced that you can find elsewhere cheaper. They lost me as a customer!

I purchased bathroom, kitchen towel sets. Great quality for a nice price. Read item reviews and choose wisely. Generous credit account offered if you qualify.
