This is an extremely well made, high quality product, not like anything you get through a home store. Well worth the wait (ours took about 6 weeks). The customer service is exceptional. I highly recommend calling before you place order. There are a lot of choices in these doors and they can guide you as to which decisions would best suit your needs. The door far exceeded my clients expectations.

We purchased frameless-sliding-shower-glass-doors. The doors are what we ordered and in good shape. The issue is the hardware I bought on there site with the doors. We wanted gold colored hardware and had to pay extra for that. The glass doors are held in place by a clamp. To hold the glass the clamp has a tightening screw. One screw came damaged, half a screw. Two other screws broke when tightening them. The screw is basically a small hollow tube with a wall thickness of 1/16 of an inch. In that 1/16 inch wall thickness is a screw thread about 1/32 deep. So not much material left. That's why some screws fell apart when tightened. It should be a solid screw with threads.
The company refuses to send me a replacement screw even though I sent them a picture of how I received it damage. Not a big issue except the screw holds the glass door in place. The two screws that fell apart the company said they were damaged during installation. That is correct but how much pressure do they think we applied to a screw that tightens against a glass door. So the screws are cheaply made. They should be solid material not a hollow tube screw. If they will not replace a small vital screw that came damaged I do not have faith in the company if something else was wrong or damaged for them to fix it.

The barn doors are extremely well made and beautifully designed. A very unique addition to my remodel.
Additionally, customer service was in touch to verify and keep me apprised of expected delivery dates.

This was a very negative experience. The company operates under multiple URLs, so be cautious with otto-sohn.com, glass-door.shop, glass-door.us, and the Bed Bath & Beyond marketplace. After placing an order, they quote a price and then send a note claiming shipping will cost $100 more, which you must pay to receive the product. I ordered a door, and my contractor separately ordered one for another property; they sent the same email for different items and addresses, suggesting a tactic to extract more money. Both my door and, ironically, my contractor’s door arrived damaged, with scratches on the inside that appear to stem from manufacturing or handling rather than shipping. The return window is only three days, and they require sending a heavy item weighing hundreds of pounds to a FedEx location, making returns nearly impossible because unpacking and installing such a weight is difficult. The scratch on mine was not obvious, though it seemed more visible on my contractor’s unit; the company stated it was not their fault or concern and offered no help. I suspect they know the product is expensive and cumbersome, so they act as they please because no one can return it. I strongly advise against buying from this company. I am surprised they remain in business, and I am contacting the Better Business Bureau to report the scam.

Overcharging!!! Stay away.
I paid my order - receive email (please pay more for Delivery).
I ask to cancel my order - within 24 hours = fee 3%.

they say the glass is manufactured in Miami, but shipment comes from China .I waited 8 weeks to receive and Omar in sales said it was in production, he will check with them. It was obviously on a ship. Very deceptive practice
in the end the Chinese supplier got the glass length cut wrong and I was out $2,500 .No quality control,Glass door is an importer/Distributor and not local made in USA

Very disappointed with my experience - it started out well with the salesperson (Omar), but when the doors arrived the color was not at all what I expected - the marupa wood with hemlock stain was bright orange! I planned to have them refinished, and exchanged several emails with customer service (Samely Lugo) about how to do that, but could never get an answer about the existing finish. In addition, the trim boards they sent were too short for the size of the opening; a concern they also ignored. Several thousand dollars later my general contractor managed to salvage them by sanding, priming and painting, and buying new trim (but couldn't match the grain). Bottom line, save yourself the time, money and frustration and buy elsewhere.

What great service and what a great product Omar was unbelievably helpful. I received my doors that were perfect. Upon arrival. I would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone who wants quality product and great customer service.

This is one of the best companies I have seen.

This was a process that took months to even place an order due to the sales manager overpromising and underdelivering (both in terms of what was available and even his follow up). The doors, when they finally arrived, were lovely, but came with incorrect instructions. Although the end product appears very nice (we'll see how things hold up), the process was so terrible, I won't order from this company again.

I bought a three panel closet door shaker style in white with mirrors from them, I received the doors very well packaged in a strong wood frame. They look fantastic! relatively easy to install, got all the hardware, they work very well and are very good quality and look.....Omar was great to deal with and very responsive to my questions, I would definitely recommend this company.
