Goal Zero Lighthouse 250 is defective. Product continues to stay on in the off position. This is my second light that has had this issue. My 1st light was replaced as manufacturer defective equipment. My 2nd light was not replaced after documentation showing the issue. Customer support was quick to point out that it was not their issue due to exceeding manufacturer warranty, even though defective equipment! Buyer beware that Goal Zero is no longer worth the packaging it is shipped in!

I just wanted to take a second out of my day and say thank you very much for a wonderful experience with your company. This is my second battery and equipment I have gotten from you and I’m very much looking forward to using it. The first one I've been using has been absolutely bullet proof. In fact, there is nothing wrong with the first one, maybe it doesn’t hold a charge as long as it did in the beginning, but that seriously could all be in my head. The reason I have upgraded is because I don’t ever like to get to the point where nothing works and I’m stranded and now I’m scrambling to try and improvise. Not for me. So, I always find it wise to be a little proactive, it helps in the long run.
The main point of why I’m writing this review is to hopefully get the attention of Michael Selin’s superiors. I have no idea how your business is structured, but I spent many, many, years in the corporate world so I might have a pretty good idea. We live in a very thankless world at present and I certainly hope someone will recognize this review and go tell Micheal Selin that he’s doing a great job! In fact, go get him a gift card and buy him dinner, he deserves it. I’m very finicky and particular and he answered all my questions with profound accuracy. If he didn’t know the answer to a question, he told me so and proceeded to find the answer, which I thought was great because he stuck to it and didn’t quit. You really should be proud of him.
Anyway, I just wanted to put that out there and hopefully someone will give him a good pat on the back.

About 6 months into owning my yeti500, something happened to the electricity while it was charging and fried it. I hadn’t registered for the warranty yet so I was nervous I had missed a deadline or something and it wasn’t going to be covered by the warranty. It was, and customer service was sooooo helpful! Then, I got caught up in life and waited 5 months before starting the process to send it back and the pre paid shipping label expired. So now poor customer service is having to deal with my situation again. Vivian got the FedEx pick up scheduled for me and everything, she really was so amazing during the whole process. My new yeti is on the way and I’m so excited! 10/10 will always be using them and will always recommend!

I did some troubleshooting and took notes as I was doing it, sent my notes to customer support, they asked me to check just one more thing and they then offered RMA. No back and forth, no pushback. They also gave me detailed instructions on how to ship back my defective Yeti 300 and sent me a special box with shipping label.
Absolutely excellent support and they stood by the warranty. I will do business with Yeti again in the future.
Michael helped restore my confidence in Goal Zero. When the Yeti Pro 8000 LiFePo power bank (and its replacement) developed error messages and could not connect to the cloud for firmware updates, Michael consistently and transparently provided regular updates and steadfastly helped me exhaust my repair options. He was accessible, professional, responsive, and an effective communicator who created and achieved solutions to previously unsolvable challenges. Goal Zero ultimately provided a full refund and I am once again hopeful for its future products to reflect the functional culture, dedication, and integrity embodied in its team.
I bought a 1500x from Goal Zero as I wanted to make sure I had back up power for when power outages happened.
After a time my Yeti stopped taking a charge. I was able to get ahold of customer service who replaced the unit for me and got me up and running again.
So pleased to do business with a company that stands behind their product. Could not be more pleased.

I had a super good experience with Michael in support, where I had a very time-sensitive issue that needed to be handled that he and the team were able to resolve in just a few hours.
Really appreciate the support, and this is the second time I've needed support from the company, and the other time was just as good as this experience.
I bought a Yeti 150 years ago and I was good about charging it and discharging it. I stopped doing that and the battery was no longer able to hold a charge. As long as it was plugged in there wasn’t any beeping. Once I unplugged it, then it would beep. I put it in the garage because I figured it would beep for a few hours or less, then turn off. It has been over 12 hours and it is still beeping. Not only do they make it beep for hours, but about every 6 seconds. When it is quiet in my house I am able to hear the beeping every six seconds. I will never buy any Goal Zero stuff again.

It is around 6am CST and it is still beeping. Over 24 hours and it is still beeping. I bet if they were to make the battery beep less, then it still would probably be working. It is extremely annoying. I put it in the garage and covered it to help muffle the sound, which helped, but I hear it when I am in the kitchen and if it is very quiet in my room.

I have been speaking with Maurice from Goal Zero and he has told me how I can replace the battery. I have ordered a new battery and will install it, so I will at least be able to use it again.

Have always loved the GoalZero products (use them every day), and the warranty is a huge part of that. I had a warranty replacement that had complex details and a lot to manage. I emailed goal zero regarding a product I bought i sent photos and explained what happened and they got back to me the very next day and sent me a replacement for my product. Great customer service!
Recently learned the original Expansion Module was recalled. After contacting Goal Zero I quickly received all the replacement parts as well as a couple more items I needed to make it all fit together. GZ was incredibly helpful as always when I had questions. They stand behind their products and customer service is now very quick to respond unlike many other companies in this downsized economic world we live. The 12 volt portal stopping working on our Yeti 1000 core after less than two years of service. Fortunately Goal Zero stood by their product and are replacing the unit and shipping us a new 1500 X to meet our camping needs. I’ve been extremely impressed with the return process and especially grateful for the incredible communication and efforts from Chayce, the Goal Zero Customer Service rep who handled our warranty case.
I contacted Yeti Goal Zero with a service question and was very surprised with the very quick and knowledgeable response from Michael. Excellent customer service and follow through with taking care of the situation. I am a Yeti I customer for life.
i read the product documentation and it offered to send an adapter for a different battery size. steban, the customer service rep, advised that the adapter was not in stock. however, he DID find one in the warehouse and arranged to send it to me. This is EXCELLENT customer service, above and beyond normal, and greatly exceeded my expectations. GREAT JOB STeban. thanks . barry
