Both Arthur and Peyton are very personable and work well not only with the client, but with each other. If one does not have the answer to a question, He makes sure the other quickly calls to satisfy information. Communication is so imperative especially when people are trusting a separate entity with their hard earned money.

As an actual client who converted a traditional IRA into a precious metals IRA with Goldco, I can personally to everything that follows:
I just recently cashed out of my IRA via Goldco’s guaranteed buyback program after holding my IRA with them for their three year “vesting” period.
I was “cleverly steered” into purchasing a mix of their “exclusive limited mintage” coins - primarily silver coins and a small amount of gold coins.
My purchase also included a promotional amount of “free silver” with my minimum investment of $50K.
As a newcomer to the precious metals market at the time of my IRA conversion, here are the major red flag warnings that I did not know to avoid like the plague and cost me many thousands of dollars in lost portfolio value in the end:
Avoid any company (Goldco and others) that rely on grossly overpaid celebrity spokespersons to “pitch” the company.
Avoid any company (Goldco) that does not post their prices publicly or make their prices readily available so that a potential client can do price comparisons.
Avoid any company (Goldco) that offers “free” silver with a minimum investment of $50K - $100K…NOTHING is “free”!
Avoid being “persuaded” to purchase Goldco’s “exclusive limited mintage” coins that carry an intentional UNPUBLISHED price that includes a hyper-inflated premium.
The actual verifiable reality of the “value” of these coins on the open market is the spot price of the metal content at best!
Don’t believe me?…then take a screenshot picture from Goldco’s website of any of their “exclusive” coins and then ask a reputable bullion dealer what they would pay to “buy back” that exact coin.
First, you will be told they have never seen or heard of that coin from some obscure mint and second, you will be offered a “buy” price of some amount UNDER spot price IF the dealer even wants that coin at all.
In other words, Goldco’s “exclusive” coins are ONLY of value within their own closed ecosystem!!!…their coins have ZERO “extra value” on the open market!
Which, of course and by default, is exactly why Goldco can accurately claim to have THE “guaranteed best buyback price” of the coins they “cleverly push” folks into buying - it’s because literally no one else (bullion dealers) want to have anything to do with those “exclusive” unheard of coins!
Summation:
Avoid Goldco and any other similar company that uses this same business model.
There are a small handful of well-known reputable bullion dealers who will not “oversell” a person wishing to convert to or create a precious metals IRA…do your research to seek out one of these companies - Goldco is certainly NOT one of them and if you want to save yourself from a multi thousand dollar loss of value in your IRA, avoid Goldco from the start!

Since opening my account with GOLDCO I have worked with Arthur Schwartz and have been very happy with his pleasant helpful expertise in handling my account. He has Always been patient & answered all my questions in a timely manner.
With the recent contact & my last purchase I was directed to several other people and must admit I have not been quite as pleased with their service. I received an offer in the mail & that is mainly why I decided to make another purchase but after talking to several people it seems the offer was not as I understood it. It seems the offer had some stipulations that were in the tiny print at the bottom of the information which I felt was very misleading but finally was told if I completed this survey I would receive the FREE Home Safe.

Yes, we did start a Physical Precious Metals IRA thru Goldco but no, not sure I'd recommend them over other companies performing the same services regardless of what Hannity or the other paid spokesmen claim. Ours admittedly is a small beef compared to what others have experienced and written negatively of in some of these reviews, but we feel it worth mentioning as it speaks to their integrity (I state this realizing someone might could have just made a mistake, the coin may have been lost/stolen in transit, etc., but in my later conversation with the person who promised the coin, he never stated a coin had, in fact, ever been sent so I must conclude the attempt was never made.) So when we took the initial steps thru their website to get more info on these accounts, we were advised that if we called them instead of vice-versa, we would get, free of charge, a silver coin. (As I recall it, the coin was "1 oz." and I don't recall the type, country of origin, etc.) In mid-March (we had initiated this whole process in early Jan, btw and within a few days had set up an account) having received no coin from Goldco, I called the "Account Exec" whom had handled our initial inquiry, to inquire as to why we never received the promised coin. Though he never did get around to explaining why, he did make sure to correct our 'misunderstanding' that "the only coin we ever promise(d) is a 1/2 oz. Ronald Reagan coin." I told him that that was not the way I remembered the conversation and that I wanted to research my notes and their site to see if I could find something to support either his or my contention. To be fair, my memory isn't the best anymore (hey, I'm elderly) nor can I find that page on their web site that offered the silver coin (in any size) so his claim may in fact be accurate. Whomever of us is correct though, how come I never received the promised coin in the first place? For what it's worth, I'm not even going to pursue the 1/2 oz. Reagan coin because this has left a sour taste in my mouth and is not worth my time to chase them for it. When the time comes to buy additional metals though, I believe I'll give one of their competitors a look.

All that I talked to were friendly and knowledgeable. They explained the many options available and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. A positive experience.

Having purchased from Goldco in the past, this time it was a slam dunk/ The people at Goldco are knowledgeable and eager to point our the pros and cons of gold/silver purchasing. I would highly recommend Goldco, and have , to my family and friends for their metals requirements.

I have been the victim of a scam by Goldco!! After rolling over my IRA in 2021 and a further purchase in 2022, I am now - after consulting my Accountant, finding that the Premiums I was charged by Goldco were excessive (84% on gold and 152+% on silver)! The industry norm, I am finding is 3-7% on gold and 10-20% on silver! What a soaking!! Then to top it all off, when requesting a buyback, I am charged a spread of 39%!!!!! Whaaaaat!?!?! The normal spread is 3-7%!!! Now upon requesting a review by Goldco and an adjustment based on industry norms, I have been fully ignored by ALL parties from the President down to Customer Service! Please note - do your research!!!!! It is almost impossible to get ANY emails or phone numbers of anyone who’s works here once you discover a problem. I have been over a month trying all manner of contact and get no one - typical scam behavior! Don’t fall for the smooth talking and telling YOU what to buy and at what price when you want to do business - they are literally “Banking” on your lack of knowledge and will only be steering you to line their own pockets!!!!

We had been using a different precious metals company for several years. It was getting more and more difficult to get them to reply to emails and every purchase was a challenge. My husband heard about Goldco on a podcast he listens to so we gave them a try. Our first call to them was immediately treated with respect and importance. We were assigned an account executive, Robin Hubbard, who took all the time we needed to answer our questions and assist us with a purchase. The process was extremely simple, especially after all we went through for a purchase with the previous company. Robin was 100% attentive to every question, even replying to my emails sent on a Saturday! Our purchase was delivered on the day of the week that we requested, and we just had to ask once. The former company never did get the delivery correct after numerous requests. I do believe we are Goldco customers from here on! Many thanks to this company and especially to Robin Hubbard for his diligence.

Great service. Simple and smooth process

This is the absolute WORST gold company to deal with. They are dishonest, are not upfront with the fees they will charge. Tell you there will be no fees and then after entering into a contract with them you find out there are undisclosed fees. They lie in order to gain customers. They are less helpful each year. The processes change every year. Every year I am told different information than the prior year which makes it almost impossible to be able to calculate the RMD I am required to take to avoid penalties. The representatives change frequently. Their customer service is atrocious. They are not responsive to e-mail requests. It is a fight every year. Entering into a contract with GoldCo was one of the worst mistakes of my life. If you are considering GoldCo I recommend you stay as far away from them as possible. Unless of course you enjoy migraines and nightmares.

I worked with Lou Amaya with my silver purchase for my mother. He was very helpful and knowledgeable guiding me through the entire transaction. I reached out to him several times during the process with additional questions and he responded promptly each time. I am very pleased with this company and will be choosing Goldco for all future silver purchases.
