Love these candles even though you don’t know if you’re going to like the scent or not. Take your chance. I’ve liked everything I’ve ordered. If you get one you’re not going to use you will have a gift waiting for someone. Raking leaves is the ultimate fall scent. Highly recommend.

POOR RETURN POLICY
2 candles came cracked and damaged, however when I requested a refund for the broken candles I was instructed to send them back to the company. I sent a picture to prove they weren't burnt and showing the broken glass. Handling the broken candles may result in an un-necessary injury as the glass is shattered and the small shards of glass may cut me or puncture my hand. Not to mention, I was also informed that I would have to pay a $5.99 refund fee. I think this is absolutely ridiculous. I did not cause the damage in any way, but I am expected to pay the company to return the damaged candles... I gave Goose Creek a chance, as I normally patronize the Bath and Body works candle sale, and I am sorry I did. I have received broken candles from Bath & Body works in the past, but the return process was seamless. As long as I could prove the candle was broken and unused, they replaced it at no cost and at no risk to me for bodily injury. I will never patronize Goose Creek again.

Poor wick quality / emits black smoke
While the throw and scent from the candles are great, it seems the wick quality is not up to par. With other candles you can get the wicks to continue to burn until there is no wax. I’ve burned 3 candles and with every candle there is close 1/4 inch of wax left but I can’t get the wicks to burn. These candles also put out black smoke. Not as clean burning as I prefer. Won’t be buying them again.

I had a slight issue with my order. Customer service thru email communicated every day with updates regarding the status of my order. Resolved the issue quickly.
Candles have a nice ratio of scents. Not overpowering and consistent with the level of scent for hours.
