The function and hall were amazing. However, the hotel rooms were too basic, the mattresses so uncomfortable, one could feel the springs in them. A most uncomfortable and restless nights sleep. Upon informing the manager the next day, he couldn’t care less and took no ownership whatsoever, and was very dismissive. I would never stay there again.

We attended a magnificently organised wedding in a venue that was spacious, grand and welcoming. The hosts were brilliant and made our presence feel so appreciated!
The food was chosen with precision and every dish was absolutely delicious without a fault.
As for the waiting staff....they were all super attentive and the service was exceptional. I have never experienced such professional service at a wedding before so I was thoroughly overwhelmed.
The only thing I found to be disappointing was the reception service as nobody was avaliable for the first 15 minutes of our checking in and we had to wait patiently knowing we were already running late for the wedding function there. The rooms and bathrooms are tired in decor and the beds were extremely uncomfortable as their mattresses had springs that dug into you. For this reason I would not be staying at this venue again which is a huge shame as it makes it convenient attending a function there.

Zahra was in charge and delivered the best reception for my daughter. Everything was on point, starting from our first meeting. Zahra managed the whole process and was assisted by Sheeraz from operations, another amazing personality. A shout out to Sabah and all the team working seamlessly on the day. Zara and Shiraz did an amazing job in managing my sister’s reception. They went above and beyond to ensure everything went to plan.

I had my brother's walima here at grandsapphire it was an exceptional experience we had, from service to food and the whole look including decor and set up... The service was high class, the staff was very helpful and polite ...it was just a wow moment for all our guests especially as we had so many guests travelling from around the world, each one of them said they haven't attended an event like this before.

Our event was on the 24/07/2026 in the Emirates Hall. I must say the hall was organised beautifully. Everything was perfect.
We got the package from Grand Sapphire with Everything included, the hall, deco, DJ, Cake Camera and video ans obviously the food. The food is the thing Everyone remembers at weddings and allhumdulillah it was AMAZING, all our guetss loved the food.

Me and my partner had our Walima event here and its safe to say the experience they offered to our guests and alongside with the food was exceptional. Everything ran smoothly with the help of their team and would highly recommend getting this place checked out to hold your own special events.

Myself and my husband enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Zulaid, was very kind and pleasant and made sure we were comfortable, he also went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Grand Sapphire hotel. Zulaid was very kind and gave us discount on our hotel, free extra hour check out as we had an engagement that made us finish by past 11am. I enjoyed the breakfast which was hot and fresh and the room was neat and tidy. I’ll greatly recommend.

This hotel has deleted my review on Facebook & ignoring our complaints! Shocking “customer service” from this hotel! We booked to stay on Sunday 28th June to attend a gig, checked into the room at 6pm & booked an uber to the gig. Upon returning to our room around 10.30pm we realised the lock on the door didn’t work which was worrying to say the least. The room above us were ridiculously loud & we couldn’t get any rest. When walking down to reception to make a complaint the corridors stunk of cannabis like someone was smoking in the hotel. The man on reception was no help & told us to complain to booking.com. We decided to drive home at 12.30am after wasting over £100 on the hotel room which we spent a maximum of 4 hours total in. Our email complain was ignored by the hotel, unbelievably shocking customer service! Will never book to stay at this hotel again, at least they should have offered us a partial refund or at least a room swap for the problems we had whilst at the hotel.

Grand Sapphire arranged the wedding reception of our son on 10 May 2026 at North Mymms park.
I am delighted to provide a review of their services which were just extraordinarily good. From the pre planning to the execution Naumann & his team are so good that I am at loss to describe the experience we have had with them. Everything that they were asked to provide they did it with a smile & at the highest quality. Wedding reception are remembered for the food. The canapés, starters & the main course were spotless. The deserts were at a totally different level of excellent taste & our guests were spoilt for choice.

We booked Grand Sapphire for our daughter’s wedding, and we are absolutely delighted with the service we received.
As we were planning a fully segregated wedding, it was very important for us to have separate arrangements for the men’s and ladies’ events. We booked two halls, and Grand Sapphire accommodated all our requirements perfectly. They arranged everything we requested for the ladies’ side, including a female DJ, fog effects, female photographers, and videographers. Every detail was handled professionally, allowing our guests to feel comfortable and enjoy the celebrations.
A very special thank you to Bushra, who supported us throughout the entire planning process. She was always approachable, patient, and attentive to our needs. She listened carefully to all our requests, offered helpful advice, and made sure every aspect of the wedding was organised exactly as we wanted. I had an amazing time at Grand Sapphire! I stayed for two nights for a wedding and the service was 10/10. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were so helpful. They really went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. I’d definitely stay here again.

Spent 7 nights at Grand sapphire hotel, overall good experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn’t the worst, but it could’ve been better.

This review is regarding the cancellation of the Christmas Party for the Reform Party on 4th December 2025.

I bought a ticket and booked a hotel room for the night so I could really have a great time at the event.

Unfortunately the event was cancelled the day before I was due to leave and my hotel room was still booked.

When I telephoned the Sapphire Hotel to ask why the event was cancelled, I was fobbed off, question evaded and was not given a reasonable explanation.

I struggled to get my money back because the hotel said that it was because of circumstances beyond their control that caused the cancellation of the Party, which was a LIE, it was an internal management decision.

Did the hotel cancel the Reform UK party because they are racist against white people?

Since I have started my investigation into what happened to my night out, it shows that my suspicions were actually TRUE.

DO NOT book any rooms or events at the Sapphire Hotel, because they do not look after their business or guests.

Shockingly bad stay at the Grand Sapphire, Croydon

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience at the Grand Sapphire was that bad. From the moment I arrived, it was one disappointment after another. The place might look grand in pictures, but in reality it felt tired, poorly managed, and absolutely not worth the money.

The staff seemed disinterested and overwhelmed, extremely rude and getting any kind of help felt like an inconvenience to them. The room was a complete let-down — worn furniture, questionable cleanliness, and a general feeling that it hadn’t been properly maintained for ages. Even basic standards just weren’t there.

Noise was another nightmare. Whether it was doors slamming, people shouting in the hallways, or general chaos, getting a decent night’s sleep was impossible. And let’s not even start on the so-called “amenities” — half of them didn’t work, and the ones that did felt like afterthoughts.

Food was disappointing, could see some staff spitting, that alone put me off eating the rest of my dinner!

Overall, it was a shocking experience from start to finish. I left exhausted, irritated, and wishing I’d stayed literally anywhere else. Definitely not somewhere I’d return to or recommend
