My first contact with Great Rail Journeys was disappointing
I phoned Great Rail Journeys on Wednesday morning 7th October 2026 to make preliminary enquiries about the Sensational Isles of Scilly holiday. The gentleman I spoke to had an unhelpful negative attitude to my questions particularly in respect of accommodating luggage on the train from St Pancras to Penzance. Given that Great Rail is a Which Recommended Provider, this is not what I was expecting. Later in the day, I did book the holiday for next summer but with reservations.
I am in my 80's and my wife is partially sighted, so some positive guidance would have been appreciated.

My website was not correct. I chased twice to get correct details.
My booking docs and invoice were not correct despite having paid in full.
I chased 4 times to get flights details to no avail - then I got an airline code but was refused access as you had not paid for the flight!
