We had Derek come out to give us a quote. Very friendly and absolutely no pressure. He listened to what we wanted and gave great advice where needed. Would definitely recommend his services. Hopefully I can give another five star review on installation of our windows and doors.

please avoid.
i bought windows and doors from the optima company brochure.
they installed camden window and doors so if you bought from them check the manufacturer name its on the frame.
i was told that i would get tested and graded products all with cerificates claiming they were a member of the BFRC which is the leading company for testing and grading windows and doors.they advertised it on their website at the time of my sale but it was all lies and they had to remove them off the website along with many others.
there was faults one being that i couldn't lock the french doors properly sent video they ignored this.
i took advice and a new contract was made which meant i would get the optima profile windows and doors that i purchased in the first place.
they scammed me again by not doing this.i paid for it didn't get it.
there is many faults.
water coming in through french doors along with darafts that you can slip a piece of paper between the seal,gap in glass seal,scratches,discoloration in front door,trims coming away,seals are white when they should be clear and it looks bad.
i sent them videos did they care no and still haven't.
ive had 3 doors from them even though i gave them a clear instructions.
customer service is shocking they just dont reply ive been ignored for over a year with the new windows and doors and well over 2 years of hell.

When we first met with Andrew from Greencastle he was very informative and answered all the questions we had and very friendly.
Kane and Dave came out to fit windows and doors and they were amazing, they were a great duo. They were extremely tidy after each window and door was replaced and answered any questions we had , the are a credit to Greencastle Windows and Doors. Everything was 5 star from start to finish.

W ordered a new front door in November 2025 and the fitter arrived as arranged on 5th February, 2026. All went well until the very end when the fitter found the covers for the wee drainage holes in the bottom of the frame were missing. I was reassured that these would be ordered and fitted ASAP and wasnt a problem. So far so good. A few days later, when I was washing the windows, I noted that there were defects in one of the 2 side panels. I contacted the office and as requested sent photos. I was advised that a new panel had been ordered on 11th March finally. Since then, I have emailed and phoned although latterly my phone calls were not answered and although messages were left, no return call was made. Unfortunately I had paid the bill in full so Greencastle has need to communicate with me. At not stage have I been disrespectful, rude or aggressive and have no understandng why we are being gaslit. The product is good, its just the company that is made up of cowboys. Great if you have no issues.

Derek visited us to discuss some new windows and potentially some additional works on our kitchen patio doors and windows. His knowledge, advice and friendly manner were all very well received and all the options were clearly explained to my wife and I. We've decided to go ahead in two stages to spread the spending over a longer period and we're looking forward to getting the new windows we've been talking about for so long actually installed in the coming weeks.

Brilliant experience, couldn't have met a nicer gent, wr had previously went to accept another quote. However recommended to Greencastle, Derek. Ame out and well the rest is history, explained everything in full still. To myself, husband and then again to my son, great price to fit budget, new full house of windows and e composite doors before xmas, ask for Derek, very down to earth thank you again

I wrote a review before installation of doors and windows,have been away on holiday and been very busy,so here is my overall opinion / review of green castle....from the start as I said Derek our salesman was brilliant ....at no point did we feel pressured and we valued the constructive input / we gave the business to green castle (we had 3 other quotes) the order was placed and we were given our lead time....fast forward....lead time actually a week quicker than estimated....new. Composite front door (stunning ) new french doors (window knock out ) new kitchen windows, all bedrooms and bathroom windows replaced,black outside white inside, can't believe the difference it has made to the look of the house ( and much less noise from outside!) looking forward to winter inside with no condensation and being nice and cosy!! Could not fault the fitters Kenny and Adam they were just brilliant and never stopped and honestly left the house spotless, the owner also called to see how the job was going and I was 100% happy with the work. Said this at the start ....if you are thinking of new doors and windows but worried about who to go with,price,quality and reliability....cut the stress out of it all....call green castle ....ask for Derek and let him take care of the rest. Brilliant service,brilliant quality,superb finishing. Thank you green castle I will be in touch for roofline soffits etc soon👍

Derek came out to quote my roofline, he was very professional, warm & genuine , A true Gentleman & made me feel at ease, especially after being scammed, Derek made it flawless & assured me that they were a professional company. I only wished I had went to Derek for my windows & doors I had only just had installed in January. Derek explained everything to me and showed me everything he was doing. Thank you Derek.

Extremely disappointing experience with Green Castle Windows & Doors. I had an appointment booked for last week which they cancelled, so another appointment was arranged for today. After making sure I was available again, I’ve now been told the person who was supposed to attend isn’t even working today.

Cancelling once is frustrating, but cancelling twice — with the second appointment apparently being booked for a day when the member of staff wasn’t working — shows a complete lack of organisation and respect for a customer’s time.

I was genuinely interested in spending a significant amount of money with them on soffits, fascias, bargeboards and guttering, but this has completely undermined my confidence in the company before they have even managed to provide a quotation.

If this is the level of communication and organisation before taking my money, I would be very concerned about what the experience would be like once a job was actually underway. I’ll now be looking elsewhere.

in response to their response, you called me on the morning of the appointment. did not leave a message. and when i called the office that was when i was told your employee was not working. rather than making up further excuses how about just apologise.

and for reference i had given your appointment booker either the Monday or Tuesday he chose the Monday

We recently had Derek visit our home to discuss new windows and doors, and we were really impressed with the service we received. Derek was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly and give us excellent advice on what would best suit our home.

We never felt pressured at any point, and his knowledge and genuine helpfulness really stood out. We came away feeling confident that we had made the right choice and are really looking forward to having the work done.

He then asked what we were looking for and he let us make any decisions that were necessary and advised us of all the options that will make our decisions. We had Derek come and give us a quote today for 6 windows and 2 doors. Very pleasant guy and didn’t need to hard sell as his products he showed us where exactly what we were looking for. Can’t wait for the installation in about 10 weeks time.

We had Derek in our home earlier this evening to give us a quote for replacing all of our windows and doors, from the second he walked through the door he was very polite and professional. Derek was very down to earth, open and honest about everything and we felt no pressure into buying anything if we were not comfortable with it. Derek was fantastic, explained everything clearly and gave us brilliant advice on our new windows and doors, allowed us to see a range of designs, colour schemes and glass. Everything about the process, fitting and finance options was explained very professionally and clearly- excited to get our new windows and doors fitted!

Customer service and Communication has been of a very high standard in my experience with Greencastle. Given I am working from home and limited to availability, the appointment was tailored to a time that suited my diary. Derek Reilly was punctual approachable and very personable. In regards to the service provided he really took the time to listen to our requirements and carefully explained our options and broke down the process from end to end. Visited by Derek this evening for quotes for new windows, doors and roofline. Derek is very approachable and knowledgeable. He provided great advice and guidance, especially around security, which was important as a female living alone. Felt completely at ease and not pressured in the choices I made. Would recommend and I look forward to moving ahead with the install.

Derek visited us today to discuss installation of a new window. He is a very charming gentleman who discussed everything regarding our query. He discussed options, took into account our preferences and came up with a solution which suited our needs. He is down to earth, friendly and puts you at ease.

I found the salesman who came to my home was friendly and not pushy unlike others had been. The men who came to my home to install the door were again friendly, neat and tidy workmen. The product was very sturdy and I cannot find even the tiniest fault. I cannot recommend this company enough.
