Charlie was prompt , friendly , knowledgeable and efficient.

The workers have good knowledge and advice on how to keep my lawn looking good even in this extreme heat. I will welcome the rain as trying to keep moisture in the ground is impossible at the moment.

Mitch did a good job at treating the lawn and the weeds that have grown. all looking good nw. All we need is some rain!

Excellent service from David and team, who I have worked with now for a number of years. He is always professional, reliable and takes pride in his work. My lawn and driveways have never looked better, they are beautifully maintained. David is punctual, friendly and always happy to go the extra mile. The standard of service form the team is excellent and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable and professional lawn services.

I have been a customer of green thumb for 12 years, the service has been excellent until recently. The communication is poor and I have not had a lawn treatment for 6 months, as it keeps getting cancelled on the day. I pay by direct debit, and yesterday they offered to do the spring treatment at the end ofJuly as they don't have the staff. I explained yesterday that oasis treatment is ideally applied before dry periods, and weeds have appeared as there has been no treatment for 6 months. The receptionist said they will still do it later in the year as we have already paid for it ?!? I asked for a refund as they missed the spring ready treatment and summer ready treatment and oasis treatment. I was told they would contact me back but they never did.

I understand that it has recently changed ownership, and recommend looking elsewhere for your lawn care.

What on earth is going on with this company .
Customer services is non existent. Ask for advice not responded in six weeks !

After being a loyal customer for over 20 years and recommending lots of people over the years it’s time for a change.
The lack of response and loyalty is poor . I genuinely feel sorry for the staff having to work for a corporate company who are only concerned with their profit .
They will be lucky to keep customers if they continue to treat people with such disregard .
Do not recommend this company

We have had Jamie from the Canterbury Branch looking after our garden for the last four years. He's always polite and very professional. Always answering any queries we may have about our lawn and offering us the benefit of his considerable knowledge. We look forward to our GT visits and both my wife and I think he is a great asset to the company. Thank you Green Thumb and thank you Jamie!

I have been a user of GreenThumb Lawn services for a number of years now and after a recent aeration and scarification treatment combined it left the lawn patchy and bare in places due to a very hot spell of weather. I dropped an email to Chris who kindly arranged for Marty to come out within a day who re-seeded the lawn again. Marty offered plenty of good advice on what I need to do so I am now determined to do so. Thanks Marty for your great work.

The service has just got worse and worse to the point now where they don’t even do what they have agreed to do. Failed to carry out our aeration on two occasions and every time there is a different excuse. Then said “We will issue a third date for you as soon as possible” - have chased and chased over multiple months and when they eventually reply they say because of the weather in the last week that they won’t carry it out until autumn. I’ve cancelled and won’t be coming back. Avoid.

Kieran who visited our home was very polite and extremely knowledgeable.He advised that we have leather jacket infestation,hence the reason for the lawn being shabby. He recommended Pest Management biostimulant followed Nutrashield Pest Management.
We have agreed the treatments.

John came out to provide an initial assessment, he was polite and informative.

After deciding which package suited us, he carried out the first treatment and arranged setting up our account.

Would thoroughly recommend at this stage.

Two good men who worked fast but carefully. Our lawn has been a battle this winter and I ended up levelling and reseeding the whole thing after hand scraping a huge layer of moss. It is now better than ever so hopefully the treatment will keep up the appearance until the whole thing becomes burnt to a brown crisp again. Arggh!

I've been a customer for 10 years and have received good service from operatives. Since the company has
been taken over it has become a sort of corporate nightmare.
Promotions every five minutes and a basic inability to provide a service eg.
No treatment since end of February.
No contact with operatives only through central call centre.
Failure to answer calls promptly.
No response to emails.
No apology for cancelled visit and no prompt reschedule.
A promise of call from senior manager never happened.

In short a dismal lack of service and considering I pay monthly verging on fraudulent practice.

My parents have been having their grass treated as most of it had died. Green Thumb carried out a full treatment on all of the grass around the end of April and a lawn expert named Dan Gregory has been back a couple of times to check and service the lawn and it is hard to believe it is the same lawn. It practically looks like a new lawn has been laid. Dan has been great with explaining everything to myself and my parents and for giving advise. Would definitely recommend using Green Thumb

My lawn was cut this morning by Cameron Robinson who is a member of the GreenThumb Canterbury branch. As usual, Cameron was very polite and friendly. He took great care to do a thorough and professional job. He is always willing to deal with any queries I have and had helped me by rescheduling this particular visit. I am very satisfied with the lawn cutting service.

Gone backwards since local franchise taken over,takes an eternity for the phone to be answered by the north Wales H.O.

Having been a Greenthumb franchise customer for many years, the franchises have been taken in house the last tells me,
When I started my treatments where £15 per month they have now risen to £30 per month, I get it things do go up, however my last treatment was £60 no explanation, when I enquired I was told I’d had a double treatment I wasn’t asked or given the choice just told it needed to be paid as the franchise was closing this I duly paid,(told today that the treatment was done early) obviously getting money in before finishing, I emailed Greenthumb to cancel any future treatments never had a response, anyway they turned up and tried to gain access to apply a treatment they called me and I said I’d cancelled and explained why, the guy seemed concerned that they where losing a client, he said he would like to reschedule and offered me a free treatment as a goodwill gesture this I accepted and the treatment was booked they emailed confirmation which I still have, they have turned up this morning and said no free treatment I would have to pay,, needless to say I have now cancelled for good, they really don’t seem to care anymore

Had lawn treatment for several years. When prices increased this year I asked them to recheck size of lawn. They did this and found that they had been overcharging. New “increased” price would be less than previous. They will not answer my emails in respect of a refund due. I have now gone to a local smaller supplier.

Richard Beech came to cut my lawn and did a brilliant job!

I would definitely recommend Greenthumb to look after your lawn.
