Great caring service

Arrived bang on time and completed the work quickly, efficiently and professionally.

Greenthumb Northwich. Cancelled at the start of May as moving home and told I was due a refund. Despite several chasing emails (some of which have been ignored) still no refund after nearly 8 weeks. Even telling them they were leaving me no option but to commence legal proceedings against them hasn’t led to my refund (or a reply). Awful awful company and totally unacceptable to not refund what they themselves said was due. Clearly they’re just hoping I forget and it goes away. They’re probably in breach of the direct debit scheme rules too. So it looks like it’s going to be much easier just to hit them with a legal claim and start court proceedings against them. Crazy over £136 but it’s my money not theirs and I want it back.

I have always found Greenthumb very polite and helpful.
I have been using them for several years now and never had any problems.I usually see Chris Dequidt from Bath branch, who is very easy to talk to.

Dan Gregory attended my property,inspected and gave me very detailed feedback and management plan.
Dan and Lewis Peeke then carried out the agreed plan with excellent professionalism and results.

I had the usual lawn treatment and was offered some sort of water treatment for the same price. I took that to mean that there was no extra charge and the visiting man would have seen from my reaction what I thought he meant when I said 'you might as well do it then'.
I received an e-mail saying I had authorised an oasis treatment for an extra charge of £62. The cost of the normal treatment had been increased to £55.50, so not even the charge that he meant. I have received 2 invoices. So far I have paid only the normal treatment invoice because I feel conned into the oasis treatment which I would have refused had I realised what he actually meant.

I have now had contact from Green Thumb who have promised to delete this charge from my account as there was an obvious misunderstanding.

I arranged a lawn treatment visit and GreenThumb had already set up my direct debit, so I expected the agreed service to go ahead properly. However, on the day they were supposed to visit my property, I was told the visit would be “online” instead. This was not what I expected when arranging a lawn care service.
It is frustrating that payment arrangements were put in place before the service was properly delivered. A lawn treatment company should physically inspect or attend the lawn, especially when a customer is expecting an actual site visit.
Poor communication and a very disappointing start. I would not recommend based on my experience.

D not join this company as they are not honest and they breached my personal privacy and discussed my contact details and everything related to my house with someone from outside their company.

GreenThumb attended today for the Summer Ready treatment. Tom was excellent by explaining what the treatment involved as well as dealing with an ant problem and seeding some of the affected areas of our lawn. Highly recommended!

No fuss, friendly garden maintenance. Carried out in record time. A great experience.

I have not been happy with the services I have received from Green Thumb regarding both the hard surfacing cleaning and grass maintenance. I have been a customer for several years and my dissatisfaction with the company has been a recent thing.
Glyn from the Sheffield Branch visited to carry out the second application of the hard surface cleaning and had to listen to my concerns before he could even get started. To his credit he listened carefully and took time to explain the process in detail. He made it clear that the treatment is not a quick fix but a gradual process that takes time to achieve the desired results.
Although he was not there specifically about the lawn, he was happy to discuss the problems I have been experiencing and offered helpful advice on how to deal with them.
Glyn explained that Green Thumb is currently going through a takeover which may be contributing to the difficulties in getting customer support and satisfaction at present. He reassured me that improvements are being made and that things should get better going forward.
Thank you Glyn for being understanding, professional and helpful. Your willingness to listen and explain things properly was very much appreciated.

Very pleased the service that Steve provided and the Oasis treatment he applied has given excellent results especially as we had a period of extreme sun.

Lewis Peeke mowed our lawn and did an absolutely first-rate job, nicely trimmed, then mowed and cleaned up well after he finished. All done with a smile. Now making it a regular mow to make it one less chore for this pensioner!

Kaylie came today from Green Thumb to spray our Summer treatment. She was delightful. Considerate, knowledgeable and diligent. Such excellent customer service from her. The company should be congratulated on having such a suburb employee.

I joined GreenThumb about 2 months ago and got first appointment by ALDERSHOT branch. After waiting all day for someone to turn up I rang the head office who were apologetic but as it’s handled by third party could not resolve the issue or reason for them not to turn up. If the standard of service is this then we have to look somewhere else. Very disappointed.
