Totally satisfying experience

Lancaster services charging 92p per kw. Joke.

My last charge was awful. It took 90 minutes to get just enough to get me home because the charger was faulty. All of the reasons people advised me against buying an electric car are turning out to be true. I had stopped at 2 previous locations and there were either no chargers available or they were faulty. I can’t emphasise enough how much I regret buying an electric car.

I would like to thank Kerri for dealing with my problem so efficiently. I am 80 years old and not that good with technology and apps. So when I could not sign in to my Grid serve account I had to pay for my charge with a card and not receive a discount as a member. I contacted Gridserve when home and explained my problem and gave them my details. Within a few days all solved, discount added to my account and best of all advice on what to do if it happens again. Thanks

Lots of chargers and fast charge. Price was too high compared to my normal non Tesla charging price

I have been using Gridserve for 4 years now and find them extremely reliable and in very convenient locations.

Broken chargers at Leigh Delamere east services on M4. Just covered in tape and only one fast charger. The slow charger has a broken connector stuck in it.

Absolutely ridiculous as the M4 west has a bank of chargers.

Broken chargers at Membury west. Not having working chargers on the M4 is ridiculous.
They should be fixed as a matter of urgency and both places should have more chargers. Why is it different on different sides of the motorway?

Plenty of chargers all seemed to be working no issues charging at all.

Great charge. No issues. Charged fast.

Gridserve Birch services west bound. A number of the old charge points were out of service or otherwise non functioning but a charge point in the new bank was available and worked well. I'd setup and used autocharge previously but it didnt work this time for no obvious reason. No matter, charged to my phone and all good. Car charged quickly as expected and no strange error messages

Third charger was successful

Called into the Gridserve installation at the St Austell Services on the A30. Initially nothing was working, after which the station went through a reboot phase. Eventually we were connected and charging. This lasted 2 minutes then the screens went blank. I checked my bank account l was charged £11:36 for this. £10:00 for joining (Gridserve declined to
recognise my account). The whole experience was deeply frustrating. I shall be making a formal complaint.

I was using a 400kw charger but the highest I saw was 108kw. Most of the time it appeared to be 71kw approx. The site was not busy, so I could not see a reason for that.

Kerri in the customer services resolved my case easily. Very helpful.

Thanks to Kerri, who was able to talk us through troubleshooting to get a malfunctioning chademo charger out of our car so we could continue our journey. What stood out of all the many many many calls I’ve made to various charger networks when chargers aren’t working (including another just on this long weekend break) is that not only could Kerri solve the problem remotely - already a rarity in these situations - she also asked me to take a photo so she could report it to maintenance colleagues so the problem could be fixed for other drivers. I’ve never seen this proactive approach to fixing broken equipment before in my 7+ years of calling support lines for malfunctioning chargers, it will make me use Gridserve chargers if possible in future, and is well worth a positive review. Keep it up Gridserve and thank you Kerri.

Service was great, my only problem was about 3 of the chargers being out of action, abd Rugby services being very busy.
But at least there were plenty of charges on these services
