I have been a GMM member for around 5-6 years with roughly 4 of that being a part of their VIP Elite (one-on-one teaching) program. I am thoroughly pleased with the product I have been receiving! Their current "EMA" program is exactly what I've been looking for in terms of a laid out teaching plan that not only helps your guitar playing but also aids in learning the theory behind it. I also like the fact they are willing to work with any student, no matter where you are in your guitar journey and they have always been very responsive with any issues I've had questions about.

Don't expect to learn everything and turn into EVH overnight but trust the process and watch yourself grow as a guitarist! I get way more out of GMM than any 30 minute lessons at an in-person school!

Well, I was stuck as a player. I needed instruction and knowledge and didn’t have time to get to lessons from local guitar teachers. Then I came upon GuitarMasteryMethod. Joining changed everything for me as a player. The lessons are straightforward, Whether you are a beginner or seasoned player. The advantage of going to their website and reviewing or retaking courses or lessons is a huge perk. That’s a huge advantage because you can pick times that revolve around your schedule. There is no judgement on your playing, only encouragement and learning. I highly recommend GuitarMasteryMethod.

What really stands out to me is the personalities of the presenters and the top-notch technology they employ. you can tell they really enjoy what they are doing. using their method i quickly learned all 5 pentatonic patterns. i joined after seeing a Utube video by Eddie Haddad. decided to check them out. i liked the website and the offerings; quite a few offerings but not so many it is imposing or difficult to find a course you are interested in.

GMM has changed my guitar playing for life. I was a 30 yr open chord acoustic strummer that wanted to pick up the electric and play lead. I didn’t believe I had it in me. I am so grateful to have stumbled across their videos on YouTube. I am a year and half into my GMM experience and I can’t believe what I have accomplished through the expert guidance GMM and all the instructors provide. Guitar Mastery Method is the real deal. The structure alone sets it apart — everything is laid out in a logical order so you always know what to work on next, and nothing feels random or thrown together. The content goes deep without being overwhelming, and they teach the why behind what you're playing, not just the what. That made a huge difference for me. Things that used to confuse me started clicking, and I could actually hear the difference in my own playing.
What really stands out is that it fills gaps you didn't even know you had. The technique breakdowns make sense for real playing, not just exercises that go nowhere. And the community around it is genuine — you don't feel like you're learning alone. There's real support and encouragement that pushes you forward.
If you're serious about becoming a better guitarist and not just learning a few songs, this is where you want to be.

If only I had known about GMM early on I would be much further down the road, even though guitar playing is a lifetime journey. I have tried other methods, but nothing has made sense like GMM. The process, the mind set the practice that they convey has made me the guitar player I am today. I promise you, you will not find a better group, or should I say family to really understand how the fretboard is connected. I move up and down the fretboard now without thinking it just comes naturally. if you are serious, you should defiantly join the GMM family. if not...then don't bother.

This is my 2nd review. I need to add this because The GMM product never stop improving their delivery. I've been with them 5 years and in each of those years they have continuously improved the content, quality, delivery of guitar instruction and education to the point where they now present a 2 hour live event every Sunday to augment the broad range of on-demand training available in the Members area. This event provides live access to 4 professional guitar players who present a class and answer questions during a world wide on line meeting. They also created a facebook community wherein you can interact with all the other members 24/7. Whether you just picked up a guitar for the first time or you've been play for 50 plus years, like me, this is the place to be. My understanding and playing ability has improved exponentially since joining GMM. Thank you Eddie and crew for what you do.

GMM is probably the best guitar school on the planet. Great teaching of knowledge and skills, including how to learn. Being part of the community with such great teachers is inspring.

I first picked up the guitar in 1981 and never really got past the beginner stage. I joined GMM in 2020 and in the last 6 years have learned more than I did in the previous 40 and have blown past the intermediate level and am getting better every week. Charlie, Eddie, Mike and Lexi give you well thought out, easy to follow, easy to consume, lessons that will provide both the basic building blocks to be a competent player, as well as the tools needed to provide massive jumps in knowledge and skill over a relatively short period of time. Like anything else, you have to commit and put in the time, however, the GMM community allows you to post videos and keep tabs on your playing easily. Even if you only put in 15-30 minutes a day, you will get much, much better, fairly quickly. The more time you put in, the faster you can take off! Thanks to the GMM team for not only making me a better player, but for actually caring that everyone in the community gets better and reaches their goals.

This program totally over-delivers. Charlie, Mike, Eddie and Lexi obviously love what the do and put a ton of effort into the live sessions, recorded courses and pdf handouts for every lesson.

I've been playing guitar for almost 50 years, and got to a certain level of decent competence playing songs, fingerpicking, knowing/playing barre chords, good sense of rhythm and such. I always found the fretboard and improvising/playing leads and solos to be a bit of a mystery. I could fudge my way around by ear and had some luck in a fairly limited way.

After 9 months with GMM, I can move up and down the fretboard and always know where I am, combine chords and licks, play in all 7 modes both rhythm and leads, play with more feeling and emotion, use bends and vibrato, and a whole toolbox of other tricks.

Every course is absolutely jam packed with information and resources. I joined as a lifetime member after a couple of months. I realized that what's already in their current library of recorded classes would keep me learning for life, and there are new classes every week!

And the community is incredible. The instructors have fostered a great vibe, and the students are a source of inspiration and support for one another as well.

I look forward to being part of the GMM community and learning for the rest of my life! Thanks GMM for doing what you do!

My playing and understanding of the guitar advanced exponentially in the 10 week session. Looking forward to the next session and playing at the next level, and I have been playing over 60 years.

This has been the best learning experience. The quality of the instructors who btw are professional musicians, their style of teaching turning complicated material which was new to many of us to incredibly simple concepts, their style andorderly step by step program to allow us to grow consistent with their teaching, the unbelievable affordability of this program, the pdf material available weekly to reinforce learning. The plans to expand in the future with live teaching in Nashville as well as continued improvement of the program with our input highly appreciated. I could go on for paragraphs how this program Charlie, Eddie, Mike and Lexi have developed in on the leading edge of guitar instruction. After five years and personal ups and downs the study of guitar has brought me to a place of some proficiency and fun playing and involving others.

This is the absolute premier guitar course! I have struggled with a lot of other lessons and not made much progress over the last 40 years. GMM helped me, inspired me, coached me, gifted me with making massive progress from being an advanced beginner for thirty years to becoming a real guitarist. The GMM community is so giving as well, lots of players like me all on a journey together. This has been an awesome way to break out of the beginner mode way faster than I expected. Superb organization and over-the-top content makes GMM the top guitar learning platform out there. This was one rich learning year for me and I had a load of fun as well. I was blinded by "lightbulb moments" in almost every lesson.
