Excellent customer service unlike other places. Ordered some sweets a couple of weeks ago, however one of the items were not up to scratch & was inedible. I emailed the shop & was refunded the cost of the item. No faffing about, they were very understanding as pics had been included in my email. I still think this is one of the top places for mithai as the quality is consistent as is the level of customer service. My only gripe would be I’d like to see more mithai variety.

worst samosas ever. its not about they were cold. the outer cover was porous as if they are oozing out water. the inner aloo never felt like aloo. I would ask for refund, it is just that for some poinds it is a crazy procedure. - make it more feeling worse. The outer crust was a soggy, porous disaster — not flaky, not crisp, not even acceptably soft. And the filling? Calling it "aloo" feels like a lie. There was something inside — a grey, starchy presence — but it bore no resemblance to potato in texture, taste, or spirit.it felt like some wierd worst thing. In my dustbin right now. Wastage.

Best Indian sweets

What a great treat. This box of delights lasted for several weeks in the fridge. Large chunks of deliciousness in two separately sealed containers. They were very tasty, sweetness was perfectly balanced with spices and flavour. I found this a real treat. This one box would go down well at a small party. For those with a sweet tooth, these sweets would go perfectly with a cup of tea.

Great choice, found what I wanted, the tasty items arrived well packaged in good tine.

Easy to order. Instructions such as how to store and heat sent clearly when requested on the online notes. Great packaging and after all this - the most delicious vegetable samosas in a pastry like shell which my octogenarian Mum loves as they take her back to her childhood tastes. Delivery via DPD has always worked well. Even sending as gifts to the remote areas in Scotland. Delighted to have come across them at a food market in East London and discover they had shops in London and were online. Also loved their back story of starting in the 70s. Oh and it's not just samosas - they have all kinds of Indian savouries and sweets.

Great delivery times etc. unfortuantly the sweet treats didn't taste fresh or have much flavour and i couldn't eat them, ive had homemade indan sweets before and they have been amazing, sorry just my honest opinion

Order was nicely prepared and delivered on time. Although carrier tried to delay but Gupta's customer services handled very professionally and made it delivered by the promised time. Very satisfied.

Easy to order and great variety. The package was being delayed by the courier but the team was extremely helpful to enable me to collect it from the Depot by exception. They were in regular contact to ensure I received and parcel and it was worth it. Thanks to the team.

Delighted. I have not had matai since I was a kid when my parents used to buy it, other than trying some from a convenience store once (it was not good). The package from Gupta Sweets was sealed, had a nice selection and they all tasted very fresh. The balance of flavour is really good and not overly sweet. Honestly, I had to stop myself from eating too much in one go. Great value too. I love ordering food items from independent UK businesses. This is probably the most affordable treat I have purchased. Will order again for sure.

The sweets tasted the same,there was no distinction between the different colour sweets. Very sugary.

The farsans - teekha gathia and chevdo - were not fresh. They should have been crisp but they were not. The samosas were very good though.

I can't tell you all of their names off the top of my head but I bought six different types of beautiful Indian sweets, made with ghee and gorgeous natural ingredients, from this company. OMG I am in Seventh Heaven... and having them with a cup of unsweetened tea with them is the nearest you'll get to Paradise. And the good news is, because I ordered rather too many, I've just found out from Google that you can actually freeze these in airtight containers... so looks like I've got plenty for the weeks ahead. Excellent courier company delivered them and they kept them nice and cold because they must be refrigerated... and only took two days to arrive. The packaging is really, really pretty and I'm absolutely impressed with this gorgeous company!!!

Delicious sweets, well packaged and arrived exactly when expected.
I don’t think you realise how generous the portions are because you’re going by weight on the website. We’ll definitely order again, the sohan papri was melt-in-mouth and the jalebi still intact after shipping!

Delayed delivery
Came home at after 8 pm to deliver after 2 days
The Indian sweets were of poor quality in the box - except.the motichoor laddoo - which was good
This was my second time ordering and second time disappointed
Previously had ordered chutneys along with samosas - but they did not deliver they chutneys. I emailed to ask about it - but no reply met.
Have given them two opportunities - never again

Good quick service. Postage and packing is a bit steep as are prices but quality is good. Thanks
