I’ve ordered from Get Baked for years and it’s always amazing, my husband has been coveting a Bertha so I decided to order one for our 1st anniversary. I accidentally ordered for the October pre-order and dropped a quick email asking them to change it to next day delivery. They responded very quickly, changed the delivery and it’s come today in perfect condition with a free cookie! This is why I always come back! Great customer service, great products and a amazing company overall

Got the chocolate cake for my birthday and it was awesome

Ordered as a gift and they included a couple of extra things in the parcel free of charge. The recipients were very happy and enjoyed all of the items. Next day delivery is a big plus.

I originally placed a £59 preorder with Get Baked, including the Raspberry Donut Cookie Dough bake-at-home kit.
The original cookie dough arrived warm, with the supplied ice pack completely melted and wet patches inside the cardboard box. I contacted Get Baked immediately and they advised me that they would not recommend consuming the cookie dough. They offered a replacement, which I accepted.

I want to be fair to Get Baked here: their customer service did try to put this right. They arranged a complete replacement kit and specifically confirmed that they would include several additional ice packs because of what had happened with the first delivery.

Unfortunately, the replacement arrived today with exactly the same problem.

This time four ice packs had been included, so Get Baked absolutely did follow through on what they promised. However, all four were completely melted on arrival, there were again visible wet patches inside the cardboard shipping box, and the cookie dough itself was warm to the touch.

I recorded the replacement being opened from the sealed parcel and photographed its condition immediately.
I've now contacted Get Baked again and requested a refund for the £20 cookie dough rather than a further replacement. After receiving the same temperature-sensitive product warm on two separate deliveries, I simply don't have confidence in ordering this type of product through their current delivery method again.

It's particularly disappointing because I genuinely enjoy Get Baked's products, and I appreciate the effort their customer service team made to resolve the original problem. I don't know where in the delivery process the temperature issue is occurring, so I'm not going to unfairly claim that Get Baked themselves caused it.

But ultimately, as a customer, I've now waited from my original September preorder through to 6 October, only to receive two cookie dough kits that Get Baked's own previous advice leaves me unable to feel comfortable consuming.

Good customer service after the first problem, but unfortunately the replacement has left me back where I started.

Expectations were exceeded. I'd seen the ad and the smaller (and I use the term 'smaller' very loosely) slice of 'Birthday Bert' looked perfect and exactly what I wanted for my birthday (bit of a present to myself and a 'Joey doesn't share' type of situation) but not wanting to leave out the family, I also ordered the Armadillo Pie for them to enjoy.
Ordering and delivery straight forward (and quick). The weight of the cake was something I hadn't thought of but it felt like I was getting a decent slice of a very well made cake and boy was I right. Same for the pie and it's soooo deep and looks incredible. Oh and then the packaging - perfect.
The taste - just right and absolutely incredible, perfect and the only cake I will be ordering for my birthday and other special occasions moving forward.
Often I'm left disappointed from cakes I've purchased as they are too sweet, over iced, dry and just lacking the expected quality for the price paid but not in this case. Worth every penny, a very genuine quality product that does not disappoint and everyone that tried the Bert - I did share some after all but not too much :-) and the Pie, were 100% in agreement and requested that they have this cake for their birthday too!
Highly recommend and very much look forward to future orders.

Oh I love Get Baked! 🤎 Since discovering them on TT I have been ordering from them and have NEVER been disappointed.

I order cake for my step children and their partners birthdays and this year I sent them the Easter pie! I had the Father’s Day special earlier this year, for my husband which he loved! I sometimes buy the brownies for the office which go down very well!

On a couple of occasions I’ve made a mistake, had to cancel and reorder. The customer service has been spot on and very reactive.

I am leaving this review today as I have just placed another order, for my husbands birthday!

Theres something about this cake that absolutely sends me into oblivion when i eat it. It could be the pounds of sugar or chocolate that im digesting - but i regret nothing. Best cake on the market. 10/10

I ordered a cake slice & popcorn mix for my friends birthday, when it arrived I found they’d also added her a little extra gift too!
I used to live near the Leeds store and order myself slices every time I’d either had a bad day or had a good day. I was gutted after moving home from uni, until they opened their Manchester store!! Every single item I’ve had from Get Baked have been SO delicious, I’ve genuinely never had cake so good. Me and my brother have quite the sweet tooth and even we can’t finish slices alone because they’re so packed- you definitely get your money’s worth. I love how creative they are in new flavours and also how friendly the teams are every time either in person or through online! Will be returning soon for another gluttonous feast, which I can’t wait for. Thanks guys :)

Someone sent me a birthday cake box as a gift, and I was so impressed. The packaging and presentation were beautiful, and the cake looked absolutely amazing. Even better, it tasted incredible, honestly, one of the best cakes I’ve ever had.

I was really pleased with the gift and thought it was such a lovely idea. I’ll definitely be using them in the future to send a cake to someone as a special present.

I bought their Bert cake as the business went viral on X, I received it today and it wasn’t to my liking. The fudge was too thick, and the cake tasted like any other chocolate cake. I don’t get the hype, unfortunately.

Delisa was so helpful and friendly! The cakes are a great special birthday gift. The chocolate bars are really nice but I don’t think it’d order them again, based on the cost as I found the chocolate and crisp bar similar to Tonys chocolate sea salt bar.

Honestly, there are better providers out there for the same baked goods that use better ingredients and no palm oil or chocolate composite bulking ingredients, for less money. Get Baked, get stuffed.

Overpriced for what feels like quite boring products. Having said that, I adored the cinnamon roll and then the coffee cookies. I bought things from GB about 3 times - trying different things. Same conclusion. But the coffee cookie is probably my favourite thing I’ve ever eaten that was coffee flavoured so it has to be a middle ground review .

I purchased the Milk Chocolate Bertha in the London store. I had previously tried a version when they collaborated with Selfridges( must be the dark version). Unfortunately I didn't like this at all, my mistake was to get milk chocolate, another mistake was to warm it which made it taste even worse, releasing a horrible aftertaste. I wouldn't purchase again. It's alot to pay for cake when you don't find it that nice. It was packaged well, easily share among 4 people which makes it below the average cost for a a slice of cake in London. Not for me.

Order GB273238 - I’m a long time visitor of the store but since moving I made my first order on the website. I Ordered 2 Slices including the Milkyberha. Package Arrived and the Milk Choc was as good as normal but the Milkybertha was so so dry, it was horrible (which other reviews have claimed too) I contacted GB via email right away, expecting a swift reply.
Nothing for days, a follow up sent 3 days later - still nothing.
An Instagram Dm, still nothing.

After replying to a Instagram post I was greeted to a swift reply stating no contact made… no emails received and no DMs on Instagram.
My DMs are open so this is no excuse I’m afraid. I was also made to feel like an idiot in the comments by whomever manages the Social Media pages.

Shoddy customer service, a company with so much social media hype that they are already disregarding their original customer base.

I won’t be ordering or visiting again in the future.

Pre ordered a Wheel of Bertune on 29th July, with expected delivery Thurs 13th or Fri 14th August, perfect for my sisters birthday on Sunday 16th. I hadn't received any despatch email by the 14th so emailed asking for tracking. Got not reply. I messaged on Instagram, got no reply. I emailed again on Sat 15th after still not getting despatch information, I asked for a refund as my sister was going away on the 19th and if it was despatched on the Monday it would be too late for her to enjoy before she went away. I finally got an email on the Monday saying it would be despatched that day for delivery Tuesday. I asked for it to be cancelled and refunded once more. No reply. Got a email on Tuesday from DHL saying there was a delay and it would be delivered on Wednesday. Got an email today saying it was delayed and would be delivered tomorrow. I've given up and done a charge back through my bank. £45 is a lot of money to receive nothing and get awful customer service. I have bought stuff from GetBaked for years but this will be the last time.

I saw a video on Get Baked's social media about their "Wheel of Bert-une" - a selection of eight slices of different flavoured cakes. I shared it with one of my children as a suggestion for a different type of birthday cake, and we agreed to order it.

The website noted that August "pre-orders" would be delivered either 13 or 14 August but the date could not be chosen. That was great timing as the birthday was on the 15th. I ensured someone was in on both days and received an email on 13 August to say the shipment was on its way - but there was no tracking info provided.

Early on the 14th I emailed and requested the tracking information and received an automated reply noting that they aim to respond within 48 hours. That, coupled with no tracking info, made me think the order was not going to turn up. And I was right. No communication, no delivery.

That meant I needed to go out on Saturday to get a replacement cake, making me doubly out of pocket for that part of the celebration. I received an email on Saturday afternoon, saying that deliveries were held back because of the hot weather and apologising if I didn't receive the email. It went on to say the cakes would be delivered today, 18 August.

I emailed back within the hour to say I never got the email, I appreciate melted cakes wouldn't be nice but equally some type of system to ensure customers received such important information (such as a Read Receipt) would be helpful in future. And while mistakes happen, the cakes would be no good to me on Tuesday for a birthday on Saturday.

As a Tuesday delivery implied the shipment wouldn't be dispatched until Monday, I asked for the order to be cancelled and for my money to be refunded. I never received a reply to that request.

This morning I received both an email and a text from DHL advising they would be delivering the order today. My intention was to refuse it but I couldn't - because there was a massive sticker on the box stating "Do Not Return".

So I'm now stuck with eight slices of cake for a birthday that was four days ago. We decided to try them anyway, as it appears I've paid for them - and honestly? They're okay but nowhere near the quality we expected.

I'm so disappointed with this order on every possible level. I followed this business over the past few years and have watched them become more and more successful - but this was my first order because the products are pricey (to me anyway). I would still like my money back (or some kind of compensation) because I followed their rules, ordered in time, ensured we were available on the dates dictated and emailed promptly enough to avoid the "replacement" package being sent at all. Very poor that you can't contact anyone other than by email, which isn't responded to in a timely way.

The closing of the original order email said, "Bertha loves you." Really? Well Bertha can get baked.
