The wizard hair volume spray is afschuwelijk! Je haar wordt vet, plakt en voelt aan als stro, voor mij nooit meer deze volume spray. Over de shampoo ben ik wel tevreden.

Miskoop en treurige service
Na de haartest gedaan te hebben, en verleid door de uitstraling van de website en goede reviews, heb ik de volumelijn besteld samen met een masker. Helaas krijg ik ernstige jeuk van de shampoo. De shampoo gaf overigens wel een mooi resultaat. De andere producten lijken geen irritatie te geven, maar bevallen, met uitzondering van de foam, helemaal niet. De conditioner doet nauwelijks iets, ik moet een stay in gebruiken om mijn haar uit te kunnen kammen.
De haarspray geeft wel een goede hold, maar droogt het haar erg uit waardoor het weliswaar goed in model blijft zitten, maar eruit ziet alsof je hooi op je hoofd hebt.
Het schuim werkt heel plezierig.
In mijn enthousiasme en omdat mijn oude masker bijna op was, had ik ook meteen het haarmasker besteld. Helaas merk ik niet dat ik het gebruikt heb. Jammer! Het leek een goed product en de flessen zien er mooi uit.
Hairlust reageerde meteen op mijn melding, maar legt uit het te betreuren dat ik niet tevreden ben over de producten en er niets aan te kunnen doen dat ik kriebel krijg van de shampoo. Als ik de ingrediënten had gelezen, had ik het wellicht geweten. Daarnaast stellen ze voor het te blijven gebruiken om te kijken of het op termijn minder wordt😂
Kortom: wat mij betreft miskoop en treurige klantenservice.

Heel fijne producten
Heel fijne producten, zit geen troep in en voelt heel fijn in het haar. Ik gebruik de herstel het haar producten, de shampoo, consitioner en masker en werkt heel goed.

Niet aan te raden
Ik heb de shampoo en conditioner van Hero gekocht. Het maakt mijn haar niet goed schoon en juist heel vet. Ook heb ik een uv beschermer gekocht. De beschermer droogt mijn haar ontzettend uit. Mijn haar veranderde meteen in stro.
De shampoo is vrij van sls en parabenen waardoor het niet schuimt. Het gebruik is daardoor niet prettig en is niet zacht voor de hoofdhuid. De producten zijn ontzettend duur en het geld niet waard. Nooit meer voor mij.

You are correct that our shampoo and conditioner are both slightly different in consistency compared to other shampoos and conditioners, and they do not provide the same softness after initial use. This is completely intentional. They are natural and organically certified and therefore do not contain harmful or unwanted chemicals that can be extremely damaging and drying to the hair and scalp, and which are actually found in the vast majority of shampoos and conditioners. These harmful ingredients include parabens, phthalates, sulphates and silicones.
That's why a natural and organic shampoo will always seem less fake softening at first, as the silicone and other unwanted chemicals don't give that fake and short-term softening feeling. However, your scalp and hair should thank you in the long run.
To address your concern, I'd like to offer some techniques that might enhance your experience with our products:
Double Shampooing: An effective technique is the double shampoo, a two-step process for a thorough cleanse. Start by wetting your hair and massaging a small amount of shampoo into the scalp, followed by a rinse. For the second wash, massage the shampoo throughout the entire length of your hair. This additional wash activates the foaming effect of the shampoo, effectively eliminating stubborn residues of accumulated products and oils.
Additionally, it is crucial to ensure a comprehensive rinse before exiting the shower. Incomplete removal of products may result in a greasy appearance, especially significant when dealing with hard water, which complicates the process of washing away product residues and oils.
If persistent greasiness is observed, consider avoiding the use of conditioner altogether or limiting its application to the hair ends. Adjusting the quantity and application of hair products can lead to a less heavy feel.

KIJK UIT, LET OP HOUDBAARHEIDSDATUM! Gummies gekocht waarvan de houdbaarheidsdatum al bijna verstreken is!!!!
Op 17 juni heb ik een hairlust pakket besteld (3 x 90 gummies voor vrouwen) wat best een prijzig pakket is! (kijk maar op de website van hairlust). Op de achterkant van 1 potje staat dat de dagelijkse dosis gelijk is aan 3 gummies, dus dat wil zeggen dat je 1 potje per maand zal gebruiken. In totaal had ik dus 3 potjes dus zou ik er 3 maanden mee vooruit kunnen volgens hairlust!
Sinds ik het pakket heb ontvangen (20 juni) ben ik begonnen met de hairlust gummies voor vrouwen te gebruiken. Tot mijn grote verbazing keek ik vanochtend (20 juli) op de onderkant van de verpakking en schrok ervan toen ik zag dat de houdbaarheidsdatum 11 augustus 2024 is! Dat betekent dat hairlust van mij verwacht dat ik
a) gummies eet waarvan de houdsbaarheidsdatum is verstreken
b) vanaf 11 augustus de overgebleven gummies weggooi
Ik vind dit schandalig en onverantwoord van hairlust, want ik denk niet dat het slim is om gummies te eten die over de houdbaarheidsdatum zijn. Dit kan schadelijk zijn voor de gezondheid! Aan de andere kant verwacht je niet dat wanneer je zo'n duur product koopt dat je voor 3 maanden dient te gebruiken, dat de houdbaarheidsdatum binnen diezelfde periode valt! Toch?! Dit heb ik werkelijk nog nooit meegemaakt!
Ik vind dat hairlust zijn/haar excuses moet aanbieden en ik geef me 1) mijn geld terug OF 2) 3 nieuwe potjes waarvan de houdbaarheidsdatum nog lang niet is overschreden. U mag kiezen.
Als ze hiertoe niet bereid zijn, dan weet je wat voor bedrijf het is hierbij. Het zegt ook wat over jullie als bedrijf dat jullie de regels van trustpilot overtreden waardoor ik mijn review niet mag plaatsen bij hairlust.nl.
Hierbij dan mijn eerlijke review. Neem feedback serieus, niet zielig doen.

Niet wat ik had gehoopt.
Ik ben begonnen met de curl crush shampoo en conditioner. Deze ruiken lekker en zijn op zich fijn in gebruik, maar deden weinig voor mijn type haar (stijl, maar niet helemaal stijl :)). Daarom overgestapt naar de volume wizard. Die is niet helemaal mijn ding. De shampoo is prima, maar de conditioner maakt mijn haar stijl en vettig. Ik dacht eerst dat ik de conditioner misschien niet goed had uitgespoeld, maar na een tweede keer gebruik waarin ik daar extra op had gelet, bleef het probleem zich voordoen. De fluf in je haar die je hebt als je het net wast, was er compleet uit. Ik heb Hairlust gemaild, maar helaas werken ze niet met een 'niet tevreden geld terug'. In mijn geval dus een dure combo die ik niet meer ga gebruiken.

Sinds het gebruik van de set 'Grow Perfect' is mijn haarvolume gehalveerd. Zelfs na aanraden van langer gebruik. Gigantisch veel haar uitval. Ontzettend spijt van deze aankoop.

Silky Bamboo Pillowcase
Ik heb twee silky bamboo pillowcases gekocht en een scalp brush.
Als het alleen om de scalp brush ging, zou ik 5 sterren gegeven hebben. Wat een topper!
Helaas vallen de kussenslopen vies tegen. Na het wassen, volgens het wasvoorschrift, is het kussensloop zijn gladheid en glans kwijt. Ook de kleur is een klein beetje veranderd. Erg jammer!
1 juli: reactie ontvangen van Hairlust op mijn review. Ik krijg de schuld... zoals ik in m'n review al had aangegeven heb ik de was instructies WEL gevolgd. Ik heb een programma gebruikt voor 'delicates' ,max 30 graden, en speciaal wasmiddel gebruikt (wool and silk), de sloop heb ik NIET in een droger gedaan en GEEN bleek gebruikt.
Erg jammer deze reactie.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you have not followed our instructions on how to wash bamboo material. It is a delicate material like silk, so it is very important that you wash the products according to our instructions on our website:
Washing machine: Our bamboo duvet covers are machine washable. Use a delicate wash program at max 30°C with a mild detergent suitable for delicates/silk. Do not use bleach. Do not tumble dry. Iron at low temperature.
Bamboo cannot be washed with regular detergent because regular detergent contains enzymes that increase efficiency but do not take sensitive materials into account.
Bamboo is a sensitive and natural material that contracts slightly during washing. This can lead to slight variations in color.
Wash by hand: If you wash by hand, rinse the fabric thoroughly and gently pat it dry. Allow the fabric to dry freely.
Stains: Do not rub on stains as this can create "dusty" areas on the fabric. Oils and grease can often be difficult to remove - in this case it is better to send the fabric to dry cleaning. Stains can be pre-treated before washing with a little concentrated mild liquid detergent or washing-up liquid (undyed). Wait about 10 minutes before washing off.
