Most horrible experience waiting 40' while there is no intention in answering! Insulting and criminal-and should not be in business. Will request my bank to cancel their contract with Harland!

This is the second batch of checks that are poorly perforated. The checks are tearing at the top and some tear so that I have to write another check. They charged $57 for 80 checks. I tried to call customer service but was on hold for about 25 minutes and gave up. Take my advice, use another company.

Over priced. 50$ for 60 checks is ridiculous! And they don't even give you a check register. I ordered checks and never received them. No one answers the phone... absolutely no customer service. I went to Walmart and got 120 checks for $25. Harland Clark SUCKS!

New member of Randolph-Brooks FCU. Sent 2 packets of personal checks totaling 40 checks (20 to a packet). Unable to secure more online. Calls to their customer service unanswered. One redirected today brought repetitive plea to hold on line- like two earlier attempts. Hung up after 1 hour with same recording/no assistance. Randolph Brooks FCU needs to provide members realistic choices if they want trust and allegiance. Zero stars deserved. 1 stsr unearned gift.

My order was placed on April 29.

On April 30, I got an email that the checks were "shipped".

On May 1, a 32-digit tracking number was displayed but I couldn't figure out who the carrier was. (The package was delivered by USPS -- which has a 20-22 digit tracking number).

The package then sat in the "presort facility" in Las Vegas NV for almost 3 days.

On May 4, the package arrived in Moreno Valley CA where it sat until May 6.

About noon on May 6, the package was delivered by USPS but Harland Clarke didn't notify me of its delivery until 8:20 PM.

I called Harland Clark's customer service telephone-number it 3 times and waited over 30 minutes each time but no one ever answered my calls.

Harland Clarke is truly an evil company. There is no way you can get to a person to explain your situation. I am encouraging my financial institutions not to deal with them! The AI they use is a human shield. They do not care about customers concerns and problems. I canceled my order but they charge me $75.00 for a check book cover. I canceled my order but had to give them my account number and routing number BEFORE they would talk to me. Which they never did. I returned the package, unopened, writing on the outside that the order was canceled. They still have not returned money to my account. They are modern day thieves. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!

I would like the opportunity to write a review of Costco's personal check supply company, Harland Clarke, to warn Costco customers about this organization. I ordered 200 personal Chase Bank checks on 4/1/26. I unfortunately found out that they now split the 200 check orders into two envelopes. Package 2 of 2 arrived in a reasonable time, by 4/15/26. However, when I called about the first 100 checks, (package 1 of 2), I was told that it could take a full month before the package 1 of 2 checks arrives. I called again on 4/23, to further follow up, as I don't want 100 blank checks floating around the country. They told me to call back at the end of April, if my checks haven't arrived, and they will send me another order. If and when that happens, they confirmed that it may take another 4 weeks for the checks to arrive.
I can't believe that a remarkable company like Costco would have a vendor that doesn't treat their customers with more respect. Please consider alternative vendors to fill this check supply need, or straighten out Harland Clarke.

2 months went by without delivery. I had my bank put a stop on all the check numbers ordered. Had to wait 6 months to be able to order free checks again and when I did i got the email that they shipped but it has been 8 weeks and still no checks. I have asked my bank to find another provider.

Got a gift card and tried to register it on their website. They have the worst website I have ever tried to use. The only thing worse is their customer service. Their customer service agent literally told me I would have to get a new email address to register my card.

Placed order on 3/21/2026 for PNC bank checks and was charged $22.79 for special shipping. Today 3/25 we received the Bank Checks order and found that it was shipped via USPS Ground Advantage which only costs $5.03 for commercial rates. Hartland Clarke is overcharging for the shipping. I tried to call the Hartland Clarke customer service this afternoon and asked to speak with the supervisor/manager, but after 30 minutes I finally gave up.

Hartland Clarke must refund the shipping overcharge.

It took a month to receive the checks, so I changed to a different company.

They transposed the last two numbers on my checking account number and I ended up paying several fines before I realized it. The won't even refund my order. I will never use them again!

Tried to reorder checks but kept getting an error message saying they had no record of that bank account - even though they provided the checks before! Tried calling customer service but gave up after 30 min. Went to checkworks.com and had my checks ordered in less than 5 minutes and substantially cheaper than Harland Clark!

I received an email indicating I might need to order more checks. Sure enough, I was running low. I ordered more personal checks, and they arrived in 3 days. The starting check number was correct. I couldn't be happier with their service and checks. Thank you, Harland Clarke

I have used this company a few times and had no issues until this year. They decided on thier own to set me up with auto renewal. I purchase checks around every 6 to 7 years. They decided I needed them every year. This is not ok. Very shady.

Stay away! The employees in customer service are horrible. While awaiting my order, each time I contacted them I was told a different story. It is as if they don't really know what is going on. This company should not be allowed the responsibility of printing checks. Hopefully Congress or the Bank Regulators will look into them soon.

The cost to ship checks was astronomical and I went with the least expensive option they offered. I could've shipped an enormous piece of furniture or appliance for the amount they charged. The delivery was extremely SLOW...at least a week. Texas isn't far from Kansas so not sure why it took so long other than they were trying to teach me a lesson that I should pay the more expensive option to ship the next time I order.....jokes on them, I will never order checks again from them. I'd rather have a prostate exam from Edward Scissorhands.

I ordered checks. $28.57 for 40 checks. They didn't arrive. So now I am reordering. I just realized that I don't have to go through Harland. I've always used them because my bank website sends me to them. However, there are many less expensive alternatives and I will use one of those next time. Harland is way too expensive.

harlan clarke charged me $119 for 60 checks can be bought for $12.50 - complained they did nothing i was cheated stay away

Post Office returned my check for no apparent reason. They charged me for the checks anyway. When I asked them to resend them they charged me a tracking charge which they told me would be on them. When I called to have it reversed they said they would do it as a courtesy but it would take 2 weeks for the refund. Service department was extremely rude, interrupting when I was trying to explain the situation. Will NEVER order checks through them again!
