Extraordinary kindness and the best customer service I have ever experienced!I am 66 years old, dealing with a long-term pain condition, a stoma, and had a tumor removed from my big toe just two and a half weeks ago. On August 27th, I went to Harvey Norman in Knocknacarra, Galway, to buy a TV I had researched for days. Unfortunately, it was an outgoing model and had sold out the day before. As I was struggling to decide on an alternative, a lovely assistant named Katelyn stepped in to help. For some deeper technical questions, she brought over Loki, who was incredibly competent. When a few logistical issues arose regarding delivery timing, Loki called over the store manager, Finnean.
This is where a good shopping trip became an extraordinary experience. Noticing I was starting to feel unwell, Finnean immediately got me a chair to sit on. He spent time explaining different 65-inch TV and soundbar options in depth until I found the perfect setup within my limited financial resources. Because the standard delivery options didn't match the time I needed, he asked where I lived. When I told him I lived just 700 meters away but had no big car or anyone to help me lift it, Finnean did something I never expected. He said, "I will deliver it to you, right now." He loaded the massive system onto a warehouse cart and walked it the 700 meters to my house in the middle of his day. Once there, he completely disassembled my old system, moved it out of the way for future pickup, unpacked the new one, assembled it, and connected everything perfectly to ensure it worked. The entire time, he was smiling and telling me to just sit back and relax.I have never experienced such phenomenal, compassionate customer service in my life. Finnean, Katelyn, and Loki are an absolute credit to Harvey Norman. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

I recently purchased a "Ortho cool king mattress" from Harvey Norman galway and was assisted by Maria. Despite my challenging needs—I have a broken coccyx and required a mattress with low motion transfer and cooling features on a budget—Maria provided exceptional service. She was not only knowledgeable and professional, but also incredibly kind and empathetic. She even shared a personal story that resonated with my situation, which truly put me at ease. Thanks to her, I found the perfect mattress that met all my requirements. Kudos to Maria for her outstanding customer care!

I was helped by Teddy, he was super helpful with assisting me in looking into an Oura ring!
He owned one himself and allowed me to get a feel for the ring and showed me how the App worked also. 10/10

Bridget was most helpful and patient to me today. She installed the harvey norman app for pictures. She then had to transfer my pictures and print them off. She then put them in a frame for me. I wish every store would have staff like her.32

Raviraj was extremely helpful and patient in providing the transfer of data service, He is such a nice guy. He made the process easy and it was well worth the extra money to have him set up my new laptop. Highly recommend.

The person who answered the phone was quite knowledgeable and navigated us through all the relevant available options so we were able to make a decision during the call.
The delivery service staff were very efficient and courteous

we went in to buy a laptop, we had no idea which is best for value and Joel was amazing to help us out, thank u so much Joel because of u we didnt have to go anywhere else, we have our laptop and we r very happy with it!

Kyle in Harvey Norman inGateway Shopping Centre Knocknacarra,Galway,gave me the best customer service experience ever..he was friendly,knowledgeable and extremely helpful..every store should have a Kyle..

I asked the guys opinion regarding a 350 euro tablet and he started talking to me about a 700 euro tablet.. I told him I didn't ask his opinion about that unit.. so I got the 350 tablet. Then while I was there I asked him about a 100 euro dashcam and he ignored the query and started talking about a 250 dashcam, once again I told him I didn't asked about that unit and just got the one I asked him about.. then I went to a different guy and asked about a photo printer for large photos and he brought me over to this silly pocket printer that prints tiny Polaroid prints. Can they not just advise on the product the customer enquired about and not ignore by trying to sell items double the price.. no respect for the customer..

Came to collect my product that had been preordered for me as I got a message to say my product had arrived in. 'Kyle' said they'd hold it aside for me as I had already paid for it in full. ....but when I got into the store a couple of weeks later they had sold my product to someone else. This guy has told me countless lies about products in his department and he also has a very bad attitude.

A previous experience with Harvey Norman Galway a couple of years ago in another department and with someone else....I bought and paid for two expensive ovens and the lady there said they'd keep them in their stores for me with my name on them as my house was near the final stage of building. A short time later my kitchen company told me that they were ready for my ovens. Went to Harvey Norman to tell them I was ready for receipt of my paid for in full ovens but found out that they had sold them to someone else. Caused me absolutely awful hassle with my kitchen company, electrician, etc.
This seems to be a pattern with Harvey Norman Galway which is not acceptable.

Bought furniture from the furniture department upstairs and had no issue there. The ladies in that department were professional and friendly.

But my current issue is with this 'Kyle' person. Why does he lie to customers. I've actually heard him lie to other potential customers too. I had to tell those people afterwards that what he told them was a lie.
Why do Harvey Norman Galway sell products to other customers when they have already been sold to someone else!!!!

Charlie and his work colleague were very helpful, friendly and careful to deliver my mattress. They called early with a specific time and arrived within that hour. Really nice guys
