Although we appreciated the options for pick up and delivery and the price was right, there were significant delays in both pickup and delivery. We were without our bikes for nearly 2 months. They were not communicative with us at all and we had to constantly reach out for updates. Our bikes did arrive without any damage, but it was clear that all of our compartments had been gone through and contents from each bike were swapped. It appears as though all items were present, but we had to dig around to find everything. We had 2 Can-Am Spyders transported.

the sales people were very polite and easy to talk to. the timing of when the bikes are picked up and dropped of appears to be a guess at best.if you are dealing with definitive times that your bike needs to be picked up or dropped off, i would say look elsewhere. unfortunately, this seems to be a common problem with many of the bike shippers. for what they charge i expected a more precise pick up and drop off.

I never received any communication after my bike was picked up; I had to contact them weekly for a status update, and it took an additional 4 weeks beyond the estimated pickup date.

I didn't get the promised phone call so I could inform the dealership of the arrival date and time.

Very satisfied with the whole experience of getting item shipped home. Driver very professional and courteous. Timely updates on the status of our order by operations staff.

The time that it took to make the round trip out west from Around May 23 when the pickup from the east coast to Rapid City SD drop off was July 3 was a bit long. However the return from Denver to Hughesville MD was very long July 23 to September 3. Given the cost for the entire trip was over 3000 Dollars. I wasn’t satisfied with the time involved getting the bike there and back. The bike was in good condition though. It was clean when picked up but pretty dusty when delivered on both ends. The staff that I dealt with arranging the transport was very helpful though. No complaints about the sales staff although the process was a bit tedious with the paperwork. I suspect that was to insure getting the bike to the right location and to the person responsible for delivery acceptance.

Bike was picked up on June 26 th in Alabama.. expected delivery to its destination was July 26th.. bike was actually delivered on Sept.1st.. the bike was in transport for over 2 months … bike was delivered over 1 month late..

The bike finally arrived and was not damaged. The drivers were great on both ends. However, communication was scarce and estimated times were off by weeks.

Jesse was excellent to work with! Always kept me informed and updated as to the progress of our shipment. We had a two week cross country trip planned and without their timely shipping service it could have been a disaster! I would highly recommend Haul Bikes and will definitely use them in the future!! Estimated delivery was very far out, only received updates on arrival if i requested them. Unit was delivered about a month late.

The whole process was made simple and quick with quote. My bike was delivered ahead of schedule and hope the delivery for my new bike will be the same.

I shipped a 2016 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special from New Hampshire to Texas with HaulBikes/Daily Direct and paid $1,498 in full at booking. I want to lay out exactly what happened, because the reality was far from what "premier shipper" implies.

The contract quoted a pickup window starting 7/8. The bike wasn't actually picked up until 7/25. From there, my delivery estimate moved at least three separate times, each one later than the last - 8/17-8/20, then 8/28-8/30, then finally 8/30-8/31 - against a Bill of Lading that had originally printed an estimated arrival date of 8/9. The bike didn't arrive until 8/31, roughly nine weeks after I signed the contract and paid in full.

Communication was consistently reactive rather than proactive. Nearly every update I received required me to email, call, or leave a voicemail first. On delivery day itself, I was told a driver would call the day before - he never did. I had to email again the morning of, and coincidentally the driver called shortly after on his own, followed by a call from a rep asking if I'd heard from him, because their own team wasn't sure where he was. The driver himself wasn't sure where my town in Texas was located.

When the bike arrived, the battery was completely dead, despite my mechanic pulling the main fuse before pickup exactly as HaulBikes' own shipping instructions recommend, specifically to protect the battery through transit. That precaution is designed for a normal shipping window, not the nearly two months this bike sat in their system. I paid for a jump-start on the spot, and the battery ultimately had to be replaced entirely - over $300 in direct, avoidable cost.

On top of that, the driver reported that straps on another customer's bike loosened during transport and caused that bike's mirror to rub paint off both the inner and outer fairing of mine. Two written repair estimates from Harley-Davidson dealerships came back at $3,282.70 and $3,818.28 - more than double what I paid for the entire shipment - for damage caused entirely in their care.

I want to be fair: once I escalated in writing, I did eventually get responses, and the bike did arrive intact aside from the fairing damage. But getting there took nine weeks, repeated follow-ups on my end, a dead battery, and thousands of dollars in body damage on a $35,000 motorcycle. If you're considering this company for something you can't afford to have delayed or damaged, I'd think hard about it.
