Had a total hysterectomy performed at this hospital. The facilities are really good. Very clean, spacious rooms with everything you would need post surgery.

The nursing staff were empathetic, communicative and kept on top of pain management very well. Staff were quick to respond to the call bell and were happy to give support and advice as needed.

The food was also delicious- lots of choice with food available 8am-8pm.

I had an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience at London Bridge Hospital at The Shard. From the moment I arrived, I felt unwelcome, neglected, and completely unsupported. The lack of empathy, professionalism, and genuine concern for my wellbeing was shocking. My concerns were not properly addressed, and the overall standard of patient care fell far below what anyone should expect, particularly from a private hospital. I left feeling frustrated, distressed, and deeply disappointed. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think twice before choosing this hospital.

My first ever visit to this hospital, and having an operation can be daunting, but when the staff are so helpful and considerate it helps put you at ease. My recent prostate operation at HCA, Birmingham was an excellent experience, from admission, to various tests, to theatre, I really cannot fault anything or anyone. Literally every member of staff goes out of their way to ensure your stay is A1. Thank you HCA, much appreciated.

Everyone and I mean everyone at London Bridge hospital was amazing and really looks after me even when I stayed an extra night nothing was too much trouble I cannot thank everyone enough

I was not informed of the fee for my scan in advance, which I believe is my right and is common sense. On arrival at the reception the girl asked first to pay £600 for a one leg scan. I was shocked, after which the receptionist phoned somewhere to check and said “It’s £509”. I asked if there was a price list, she said there wasn’t. I asked her “ how come just now you said £600 and within two minutes the new quote was £509, and that only last year for two legs scan I paid £574”. She said that prices went up. Yes, they certainly do, but not to that extent. I am therefore making a formal complaint.

Brilliant service couldn’t ask for more

I was highly impressed by the quality of literally everything, from the setting up of the appointment to the actual care received during my visit and the follow-up. Dr Mahmud gave me the reassurance that I needed - I am feeling much better now that I know he will be looking after me!

We have visited The Portland Hospital on a number of occasions and every experience has been a positive one. My 16 year old daughter had an MRI with contrast recently. She was treated with dignity and respect. She was included in any decisions and everything was explained to her in an easy to understand way. I was able to sit in the room with her while she had the MRI, which made the experience more relaxing for her. I highly recommend the Portland Hospital

The consultant was brilliant, however the reception was a mess dirty and slow. Staff on the gate on the phone the entire time. The pharmacy was slow, I was the only patient and it still took 20mins. The staff treat the place like it’s the NHS not to standard for a private clinic

I had an appointment with Mr Mansoor Foroughi regarding my lower back and leg issues including sciatica which I have been suffering from for the last 4 months. He is extremely knowledgeable and gives a great explanation of the issues and the ways forward. The building and rooms are of the highest standards and cleanliness.
