We are extremely concerned to read this review, as we have no record of an order under this name and no record of any email correspondence with you regarding the issue described.

We are a legitimate, small family-run business supplying hearing aid accessories to customers throughout the UK and internationally. We have been trading for many years and take great pride in providing a reliable service to our customers.

We would also like to make it absolutely clear that we would never tell a customer that they are jointly liable for a delivery. As the seller, we are fully aware of our responsibilities regarding the successful delivery of orders. If one of our genuine customers contacts us because an order has been delayed, lost or has failed to arrive, we will always investigate the matter and work with the customer towards a satisfactory resolution.

Based on the information in this review, we strongly believe that you have mistakenly left this review against the wrong company. We have no order or correspondence that would allow us to identify or investigate the transaction you are referring to.

A one-star review accusing a legitimate family business of being a "fraudulent business" and a "scam" is extremely damaging, particularly when the transaction described does not appear to have taken place with us. We take accusations of this nature very seriously, as they can have a significant impact on our small business and the reputation we have worked hard to build.

We therefore respectfully but firmly ask that you remove this review from our Trustpilot page and contact the correct company regarding your delivery dispute. If you believe you did purchase from us, please contact us directly with your order number, name and the email address used when placing the order, and we will be happy to investigate.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations.

After placing your order with express delivery, you contacted us to ask when it would be dispatched. We apologised and explained that we were experiencing an unexpected delay in receiving stock from the manufacturer, Signia.

We offered you the option of waiting for the item, with a refund of your express delivery charge, or cancelling your order for a full refund. As the stock had still not arrived the following day, we contacted you again to provide an update and asked whether you wished to continue waiting. When you advised that you no longer wanted to wait, we processed your refund immediately.

At the time of processing your refund, we explained that while refunds are issued by us immediately, the time it takes for the funds to appear back in your account is determined by your bank or card provider. This typically takes a few working days and is unfortunately outside of our control.

We completely understand your disappointment and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. While delays from manufacturers are beyond our control, we always strive to keep our customers informed and provide the option to cancel if they prefer not to wait. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to do our best to provide the highest level of service possible.

Our checkout clearly displays the final amount payable, including VAT, before the order is placed. Customers are able to review the total cost in full before confirming payment, and no additional charges are added after checkout.

We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience.

The receiver supplied was exactly the item that was ordered. On the product page, we clearly state that these receivers are only compatible with Widex Moment (Rechargeable) and the new Widex Allure hearing aids. We also provide a link to the alternative receiver type for customers who have different hearing aid models.

As hearing aid receivers are medical-use items, we are unable to accept returns once the packaging has been opened and the product has been handled. This policy is clearly stated in our Terms & Conditions and is in place for health and hygiene reasons, as opened receivers cannot be resold to another customer. We trust you would understand that most customers would not want to receive a hearing aid receiver that had already been opened and handled by a previous customer.

We understand there was some confusion regarding compatibility, which is why we encourage customers to contact us before purchasing if they are unsure which receiver they require. We are always happy to check compatibility and help ensure the correct item is ordered.

While we appreciate that this situation is frustrating, we do not feel that a 1-star review fairly reflects the service provided. We supplied the exact item ordered, provided clear compatibility information on the product page, and applied our published return policy consistently.
