Gloucester team saved the day!
The Gloucester team came at very short notice when the booked team were unable to attend. They travelled 2 hours to fulfil the company's booking. The team of 2 were very friendly and worked well together.
I had booked a deep clean as well as cleaning specific appliances and 2 sofas, so there was a lot to do.
They did very well and most things were done to a good standard. On closer inspection, after they left, there were some places that were missed but I feel this was just because they had a lot to do and still needed to drive 2 hours home so were rushed. Thank you for your hard work.

Shoddy work
I booked a one off deep clean as I moved into the property as I knew the previous owner was not house proud.
The team arrived half an our late and stated that it would only take 3 hours (it was 2 bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, hall and landing and kitchen with cleaning the oven and hob). I had my reservations then.
When I arrived back, they had not completed ( as I suspected) and were still busy. It smelled much better and the windows where clean. It took about another 45 minutes, which was fine.
After they left, on closer inspection, it was more if a surface clean rather than a deep clean. The kitchen was still greasy and filthy on the floor, corners, tiles and handles. All the corners in the rooms were still filthy and cobwebs were hanging in corners and from lampshades.
I complained and wanted half the money back as I had to reclean myself. I provided photographic evidence. As per company policy, they had to do a reclean first. I did not want this as it was the same team they would send again. Why? I didn't have much faith in them as they did such a shoddy job in the first place!!! They came back at 5:00 in the evening to do the areas again which I highlighted. When I showed them around the gentleman actually had the audacity to question if the cobwebs where there before! This did not reassure me whatsoever. To explain, they came 5 days after the original clean. They wanted to know if there was anything else they needed to look at, at 6:00 in the evening I did not want them any longer in my house.
I again complained and now wanted 25% of the original price, they refused on the basis that they had come back amd had rectified the areas shown, and I had told them it was 'amazing'. No, I said it was fine. I complained again, which you can only do by email, and lo and behold no reply.
Customer services is a incompetent, the team who cleaned my house where surface level at best and even then not great to do a deep clean.
Addendum:
I complained again in writing to the company after reading their response for my review. Since then they have added further information onto the response that originally was not written down.

We are sorry to read your review, but we do not believe it gives a fair or complete account of what happened.
When you first raised concerns, we responded promptly and offered a complimentary re-clean in line with our complaints process. Our first re-clean offer was made shortly after your complaint, and we continued working with you to arrange a suitable time. You initially said you did not want the same team back, but later agreed to the re-clean, which was then arranged and completed.
The re-clean was specifically booked to address the areas you had highlighted in your photos and emails. After the team returned, you confirmed that the work was “fine” and did not ask them to go over anything further while they were still present. You later explained by email that you did not want them to stay longer and preferred to do anything else yourself.
It is also important to clarify that the property required a significant amount of work, as it was in a very bad condition. Based on the condition described and the level of cleaning required, a service of this nature would normally be priced considerably higher, often in the region of £600 to £700 for a heavily neglected property. In this case, the service was carried out for £232 as a gesture of goodwill, and we still made efforts to accommodate the work within that price.
You also requested a refund of 50% initially, then later requested 25%. However, as we had already returned and addressed the specific areas raised, we did not consider a further refund justified.
We fully accept that you were unhappy with the first visit, which is why we arranged the re-clean. However, it is important to clarify that we did follow our complaints process, offered a remedy, attended again, and addressed the areas you had identified.
We are sorry that you remain dissatisfied, but we do not accept that no support was provided or that the matter was ignored.

I just started working for this company a few months ago and I have to say in my whole 16yrs of being a Subcontractor I have yet to work for a company so enjoyable! Hellocleaners is by far one of the best companies I have worked for! They are patient kind and informative! If any situation arises about payment or job leads there is always a calm resolution with them! Never pushy or demanding always respectful and understanding! If anyone is looking for a cleaning contract company to work for I highly recommend Hellocleaners for employment! A place of employment that is stress free and truly truly feel like home. I had to pay for the cleaning service before it commenced, I should have known it was bad news.
I booked a deep clean for the kitchen, including the oven with this cleaning company for the 11/05/26 and I was left extremely disappointed. Not only did team Yousef arrive over an hour late, they did not provide the services I paid for.
At first glance all seemed fine, team Yousef wanted me to leave a 5 star review, I wrote something but I didn’t post it until I did further inspections. Some of the cupboards weren’t clean inside and surrounding surrounding weren’t clean either. The hinges and oven doors were grimy and dirty. The dining table, floor and skirting boards and many other parts of the kitchen were unclean.
I didn’t receive what was advertised on the website. I contacted customer service and was offered 25% refund or complimentary re-clean.
I paid for a deep clean, not a superficial one.
The “cleaning” was done on Monday and I had to wait until Wednesday for the cleaners to return. Only the oven was done.
I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY and I don’t recommend anyone using it either.

Payment on arrival is an industry-standard process for this type of service, and we consider it a reasonable request before the team starts work.
That said, we do acknowledge that you had a valid complaint in relation to some aspects of the service. However, some of the items raised were not included in the agreed scope of work. We did try our best to arrange a same-day re-clean, but unfortunately this was not possible. We then offered either a partial refund reflecting the missed areas that were included in the scope of work, or a complimentary re-clean.
You chose the re-clean, and this was arranged and completed. When the team attended and asked about your remaining concerns, these were not clearly raised with them at the time, which limited their ability to address anything further during the visit.
We did make genuine efforts to resolve this matter through both a re-clean option and a partial refund offer. We are sorry that you remain dissatisfied, but we believe reasonable steps were taken to put things right in line with our complaints process.
