Another great experience, from walking in we was made to feel welcome, the atmosphere is amazing, much more relaxed than most restaurants iv been in before, the staff were very knowledgeable about the menu, we had the big daddy platter to share between 2 of us and it was amazing we couldn't finish it all so we took a couple of boxes home with us, the best is definitely the beef rib, brisket and beef cheeks. We can't wait to go again.

Where do i start? This place is absolutely exceptional, I first came in june for my grandads birthday and we all loved it. We loved it that much me and my boyfriend decided to come again just us two!
My boyfriend couldn’t stop talking about the brisket – it was so juicy and literally melted in the mouth. I had the jacked mac, which paired perfectly with the pulled pork and was packed with flavour. We also decided to get the salt and pepper hot honey wings and the burnt ends on the side which was most definitely the right decision as they were unbelievably good!

Despite how busy it was, we hardly waited at all, which was really impressive. We also love that it’s a family-run business and that all the meats are smoked in-house. We even got to see the smokers, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic.

We’ll definitely be back, 100% recommend if you dont want to miss out on a true bbq experience that must be britains best serving food that you cant find anywhere else but here!

First time in a long time since I had a burger that was great and value for money. The Texan trinity burger was an absolute delight, double cheeseburger with crispy lettuce, smoked meat topping and lovely sauce and the chips and coleslaw didn’t disappoint either. Service was at the right pace and professional, even checking my order with my allergy to nuts, even though I said it would be fine. I’ll check out the steaks the next time I’m in the area and need food 👍. Well done to Emily K who looked after me.

Visited for my husband's birthday,great place staff we're great and the food amazing,we knew it wouldn't be cheap but it well worth it had the platter as we wanted to try a bit of everything, needless to say we have some leftovers

We had a brilliant visit, Emily couldn’t do more for us & sorted my mother in law out with a spice free meal!!! We usually go to hickories but felt like the service alone made us love this place and the fact the food was immense just added to it. Brilliant & please thank Emily again for us :)

Went to Henry's today with the wife and mother in law food was good and reasonable priced the staff were very helpful and friendly the service was good definitely going back thanks

Food was brilliant, loved the real smoke flavour even the experience of see the smokers in action was a once in a life time opportunity, thanks to all staff so welcoming

Fantastic food and superb service.
Went to Henry's for Sunday lunch and was greeted by Ash who went out of his way to help us. More places could learn from this guy, he was fantastic.., the meat was to die for and I had the full rack of ribs which I couldn't finish.... Please try this place as private businesses need all the help they can get.... I will be back (in the word of an Austrian actor)... 5 stars and well deserved.

This place was amazing, from the staff chatting away to us to the food, this place couldn't have given us a warmer welcome if it tried. The food was smoked perfectly, and tasted amazing. All I can say is, if you like smoked bbq, just go.

I went to Henry’s in April and it was amazing from the staff to the food. You can tell it’s proper Texas smoke. The brisket just melted in your mouth and the chicken wings were so full of flavour. Also the staff were so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be back soon.

From start to finish we were made to feel at ease. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgable of the menu. They gave great recommendations and didn’t disappoint. The chefs cook at an immaculate standard and the prices for the quality of food is a steal. I am happy to say I will be returning to sample more of their amazing menu.

I notice in a lot of places, the food can be absolutely brilliant, but the service can be just... service. The experience at Henry's is completely different. After visiting on multiple occasions it's nice to be able to say that the staff really care, and, for a place known for its family vibe, really feel like family. I really can't fault Henry's for anything, if you need looking after, go there and you won't be dissapointed

Well worth travelling for. Roadhouse style venue with what must be the best smoked brisket in the UK. Melt in your mouth sensational. Hard to imagine better.

We pre-booked a table for 4 on a Saturday at 6pm.
We arrived and introduced ourselves at the bar (no on time one at the greeting table). We were told she would be right with us then turned back to carry on showing two other young servers how to make a cocktail. We waited, and waited stood by the bar (my sister is disabled and walks with a stick) until I called this to the same servers attention. She told us that we could go sit and wait in a corner of the bar.
Finally sested and given menus
We asked a question.
Server disappears and doesn't come back for well over 5 minutes
The rest of us placed drinks orders however, they were out of stock of one of the beers.
We placed our food order to find there were 3 things sold out. Remember, this is Saturday at 6.30 and they are fully booked for the full evening.
At this point a table that had been waiting quite some time, gave up waiting for their food and left.
After another long wait they came back to take our substitute food order.
We waited for a further 45 minutes before the food was served - not all together, my sister had to wait another full 5 minutes.
Our other drinks order hadn6arrived but I could see it sitting on the end of the bar so I got up and got it myself.
Whenever we mentioned anything to the servers we got apologies and the excuse that they were fully booked.
We ordered desserts - which were extremely disappointing. We were in for over 3 hours, most of it waiting.
By this point my husband had enough and asked to have a word with the lady we could see was in charge.
The meat WAS amazing! Tasty and juicy. They obviously need a bigger smoker to deal with the demand which is a great position to be in. If only the service could cope and they could keep up with the demand.
The owner promised to sort out our bill (she did comp us 50% for which we were very grateful) and that she would email us to offer us a free return visit to see that they could do better.
We didn't write a review until nearly 4 weeks had passed.
She never kept that promise.

This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. We pre-booked a table for 7pm, yet when we arrived there was no one around to show us where to sit. We then waited 40 minutes before even seeing a waitress, and our first drinks didn’t arrive until an hour in. By 1 hour 20 minutes we had still only had one drink, and we were never asked if we wanted a second round, even after 1 hour 50.
The menu was completely unreliable — the allergen information didn’t match what was actually available, which is unacceptable. To make matters worse, after waiting over an hour we were told there was no brisket or ribs, meaning we had to reorder our mains from scratch.
When the food finally arrived, much of it was cold. The burger was cold, the half chicken was poor (3/10 at best), and the “chips” were essentially fried potato skins — definitely not chips. My sides never arrived at all, which by that point I was actually glad about. The only decent dishes were the hunter’s chicken and the mac and cheese, but they weren’t enough to save the meal. We didn’t finish eating until 8:45pm, nearly two hours after arriving.
The only positives were that we were given complimentary drinks at the beginning after the long wait, and they gave our dog some brisket — which, frankly, seemed to be the best-served meal of the night.
Poor organisation, awful service, inaccurate menus, missing food, and cold meals. We should have gone to Hickory’s instead, and we won’t be returning.

I’ve had the mac and cheese with fries at Henry’s a few times now, and it’s always delicious. The sauce is perfectly creamy, and the fries are seasoned just right.

We came here for the brisket as we’ve heard great things. Was not disappointed! Smokiness was unreal and just melted in your mouth. Wonderful! Would definitely have again

We came on a Saturday evening and they had the fireplace lit which made the atmosphere nice and cozy the food looked amazing we had a link sausages which had a purple ring inside and the waitress explained that all smoked meat have a purple ring the flavour it created was perfect Texas style sausage. Will definitely be back
