I will never use this company again…
I will never use this company again (GCE Live) after the short notice cancellation of the live events at several locations. It means there will be alot of wasted money for expensive tickets and poor ‘has been’ performers. Not to mention the complete fiasco over ticket refunds!
We were very disappointed with the…the kings Norfolk palace
We were very disappointed with the provision for people with disabilities. The wheelchairs were a distance from the car park and then we found them very difficult to push. I had to rely on members of the public to help us up slopes. When I returned the chair there was no one to take us to the car. As I was completely exhausted by that time one of the girls in the office kindly helped us. There were no mobility scooters. It was a stark contrast to Holkham hall that had far better amenities. We will not go again and not recommend it.
Absolute garbage company
Cancelled the full festival without clear explanation and made the refund process blurry. Also before that, their policy on "giveaways" is a complete scam.
Cancelled festival and completely unreachable
Unbelievably poor handling of their festival cancellation. They posted a massive statement online claiming ticket agents would handle refunds without undue delay, yet their official ticket agents (See Tickets) are emailing customers claiming Heritage Live already took the money and won't authorize refunds. To make matters worse, Heritage Live's customer service inbox is completely full and bouncing back emails. They have left paying customers completely stranded in a finger-pointing game between them and the ticket agents.
Heritage Live Cancelation
I purchased my tickets through See Tickets in good faith. Following the cancellation of the event, I contacted See Tickets to request a refund. However, I have been informed that Heritage Live is responsible for issuing refunds. Heritage Live, in turn, has stated that See Tickets is responsible. As a customer, I should not be caught in the middle of a dispute between the promoter and the ticket agent.
Disgraceful
I also have booked tickets for a Sandringham concert which has now been cancelled & neither Heritage Live nor SEE Tickets want to refund their out of pocket customers.
Someone has all the money, so do the right thing & provide refunds!!!
I purchased tickets for the Christina Aguilera concert
I purchased tickets for the Christina Aguilera concert at the Royal Sandringham Estate on 21 August 2026, which has now been cancelled. See Tickets instructed customers to contact Heritage Live directly to request a refund, so I emailed the address provided immediately. My email bounced back because your mailbox was full, and there is no customer service telephone number.
Since then, your website and Instagram have stated that ticket agents are responsible for processing refunds and that customers should contact them instead. This directly contradicts the instructions sent to customers.
Customers should not be left chasing their own refunds or passed back and forth between companies after an event is cancelled. Please provide clear, consistent instructions and ensure all affected customers receive their refunds without further delay.
No Response fron Heritage Live...They are about profit not customer care or value for money!!
I sent the below email to heritage live & Sandringham on the 4th june and still yet to receive a reply or response.
Clearly evidences where their priorities lie, in profit not with customer care or value.
I last saw janet at the coop academy in manchester. I would love to see her again. All of the decent, genuine venues in the UK, it breaks my heart to know it would ruin my experience and a be a complete disaster to see her at sandringham, given all the poor reviews, and my money down the drain in the pockets of greed and lack of moral compass.
To whom it may concern:
I am considering purchasing tickets for an upcoming event at Sandringham for our family, including children, however am concerned about the number of complaints on Social media, and Trustpilot which include views as follows:
Your events breach basic duties of care under the Equality Act,
Health & Safety laws,
and licensing conditions.
Shambolic traffic and parking delays with huge, hour-long queues both entering the venue and trying to leave the car parks after the event.Causing congestion and major disruptions.
Venue Policies: Strict rules against personal folding chairs. Hired deck chairs and hay bale seating sells out quickly, where you end up sitting on the grass or forced to stand, and view is obstructed.
Facilities : No Phone Signal and Inadequate toilet facilities and sanitation.
Lack of clear stage viewing areas and poor signage
Exortionate food and drink prices: Food, drink, and VIP packages as exceptionally expensive, with basic meals and alcoholic beverages frequently cited as overpriced.
Please can heritage live advise on the above, whereby changes have been implemented, to ensure improvements, so my family will not be met with the above raised issues, and our safety and value for money is not comprised, so the event can be enjoyed.
Dont go to Sandringham
How has this company been allowed to get a license to host these events at Sandringham
The toilets were insufficient and what there was poorly maintained No lights when it got dark so unable to see what you were doing. people then urinating all around the outside because of the lack of facilities
Parking T the end of the show it was frankly dangerous. walking inthe dark to find my car and stewards that were there were not bothered. only one exit and it was a free for all to get out
The show lasted a few hours and the only way to sit was to rent a rickety deckchair for 14 quid
Went to see Petshop Boys and Scissor…
Went to see Petshop Boys and Scissor Sisters last year, really wanted to attend some concerts this year but they have banned chairs😡my husband and I are 70 and would be unable to stand for 6 or 7 hours or crouch on the floor. Guess we will be spending our money somewhere more welcoming 🤔
No way of contacting customer service and disabilities badly accommodated
Tried to book for a concert at Sandringham next year. All the disabled tickets for the AVP platform had gone but I could buy the general ones. That would have been OK if I could bring something to sit on and park in a nearby carpark but they only allow picnic blankets and there are no tickets available for the accessible car park. Their customer service page only has FAQs or the facility to get your order information, no actual contact for customer service to ask about access to disabled loos etc. Not at all friendly for customers with disabilities - very disappointing.
Avoid this festival at all costs.
Avoid this festival at all costs.
The organization is terrible, and the whole experience feels completely misleading.
It looked more like a Luna Park than a concert. We were shocked by how incompatible everything was — the big artist names, the prestigious “Sandringham Estate” branding, and what the event actually turned out to be. We expected something more refined, maybe a picnic-style atmosphere with space to enjoy the music. Instead, it was overcrowded, chaotic, and nothing close to what the ticket price suggests.
There is no mobile signal, and the location is misleading. When you hear “Sandringham Estate,” you imagine something near Sandringham House — but the festival is held on a random field nearby. It looks nothing like what you expect.
We arrived too early because our taxi driver insisted — and I now believe he just wanted to earn more money. We got there before 2 p.m., stayed only 40 minutes, and it was already unbearable. We tried to leave and return later for the main show, but they do not allow re-entry. We were only let back in after telling staff we needed to get medication from the car.
There were around 30,000 people, many drunk, terrible food, and no taxis at all. We paid £300 for a 20-minute ride, and the hotels are extremely overpriced. You can’t charge your phone, there’s zero signal, because it is a royal residence and my battery died while I was trying to reach friends. A kind man in the parking area let me use his power bank (thank you!).
The main concert (Michael Bublé) was delayed by at least an hour. We stayed just long enough to take a few photos and watch two songs. Even he sounded apologetic about the situation.
I paid £170 for a ticket which is a lot for this experience. If you live nearby and can walk, maybe it’s fine.
But if you’re coming from another city or another country: avoid, avoid, avoid!!!
I would suggest to go to Montreux Festival in Switzerland if you want big names, good service, excellent organization and perfect venue.
If you live nearby and can walk, maybe it’s fine.
But if you’re coming from another city or another country: avoid, avoid, avoid.
Heritage Live
Heritage Live: -Michael Bublé – Sandringham Estate, August 2025
Unfortunately, this event did not live up to expectations, especially given the cost.
• Seating & Visibility: Seating was placed outside the designated blue health & safety lines, resulting thousands of people crammed in with very poor views. Many attendees were understandably frustrated when needing to pass through tight rows to access facilities. Plus we were all facing uphill rather than downhill
• Facilities & Queues: Long queues persisted throughout the day for toilets, food, drinks, and water. In the queues were people continually complaining about the same issues. The Portaloo I used within two hours of arrival was already blocked, and there was no hand gel available. Water stations had massive queues.
• Pricing & Scheduling: Food and drinks were expensive The long gaps between acts felt deliberately timed to encourage spending. A friend was overcharged at the bar, and despite promises from both the Estate and Heritage Live to investigate, We’ve had no follow-up.
• Technical Issues: Screens were out of sync, making it impossible to follow. performances visually. The sound during Michael Bublé’s set was distorted. Nearby Fairground rides were very noisy and although they turned their music off while the show was running, the noise distracted from the show.
• Customer Service: I’ve been corresponding with both the Estate and Heritage Live, but neither has shown genuine interest in resolving these issues. Heritage Live is not part of STAR, and Trading Standards refer complaints to Citizens Advice.
Given the lack of accountability and poor experience, I won’t be attending future events at Sandringham Estate or with Heritage Live.
Appalling
Pid £225 extra for "VIP passes" only to find that the area was too crowded to let me in.
NO response from Customer Service.

Agressive staff member, threatening to throw us out - unacceptable and unnecessary
Parking and queues, were much better this year than the previous event, staff were excellent on entrance, in car park, in the Bar area etc. The only downside for us was the way we were spoken to by a security guy, who was telling us we couldn't put our chairs up. The website stated they were permitted at the rear of the field, we sat at the rear of the field but apparently we were in front of the area that was classed as 'the rear'. There were no markings or signs stating where the area started and no signs stating, no seats permitted. The member of staff mode approx. 200 people fold up their chairs and sit on the floor, even elderly women who struggled to sit on the floor. His attitude was extremely agressive from the start, nobody had challenged him but the way he spoke to everybody definitely put everybodies back up, very rude and agressive, he said he was able to throw us out of the venue if we didn't do as we were told. It was all totally unnecessary. We were way back in the field, there was no reason why we couldn't sit there, people who were standing were way in front of us. Perhaps in future, use signage and use young men who are not agressive.
Cameraman setup blocking entire stage view at Mariah Carey concert
I attended Mariah Carey’s Sandringham Heritage Live concert August and, while her performance was fantastic, the experience was severely undermined by the staging setup from the event organisers.
A cameraman was placed directly on stage at audience eye-level, blocking the view for a large part of the crowd. He was constantly walling from side to side and much of the audience were feeling frustrated.
For such a high-profile event, this was baffling — simple solutions like mounting cameras below the stage or on arms or rails could have avoided obstructing fans.
For an event of this scale and ticket price, fans should expect far better production planning. The organisers at Heritage Live need to seriously rethink their setup for future shows, as poor staging like this can completely ruin an otherwise memorable concert.
Thank you Sandringham!!!
Went to all 4 of the Sandringham Shows with the family this year - absolutely brilliant shows with great range of artists! Would like to mention how helpful all the customer service team were with any queries we had. Such a good family vibe and would totally reccomend for a great day or weekend away - glamping was a life saver and incredibly convenient. See you next year!
High quality music
Having the opportunity to experience high quality music in one of Britain’s iconic settings was a real treat. Thank you Heritage Live organisers.
Loved it!!
I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews - it's all from the people who chose to see Michael Buble... more fool them. I saw Bony M, Sister Sledge and 2 1/2 of the Jackson 5. Lovely day, great staff, VIP area wonderful. The staff were really helpful, we had no problem getting in or leaving and would definitely go again.
Just phenomenal
What can I say! Fabulous 4 days at Heritage Sandringham.
Stayed in the new glamping area with friends, which was a real treat and helped us to avoid any potential traffic queues.
Found the food and drink to be reasonably priced, especially the champagne which was very good for a festival.
The acts were all superb and I felt that we were looked after very well. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful and the whole event had a real family feel to it.
Well done Heritage Live! We will definitely be back!
