HEXO were prompt
HEXO were prompt , professional and communicative was excellent. I received a quote, I accepted and within 3 days my electrical inspection was completed. One area required maintenance and again work was completed with me being fully informed at all times. I have no hesitation in recommencing HEXO to other landlords, I will be using them again.

EICR test and remedial work
EICR test and remedial work - remedial work resulted in faults that were not there previously and they never came back to fix (almost one month waiting)
They did an EICR test without checking all the plugs or without checking the end of all circuits, which should have been a red flag. It was picked up that our fuse box was old and didnt meet regulation (this was a correct diagnosis) I went ahead to do the remedial work, it got done fairly quickly but it was faulty (I now cant turn my bedroom lights on without tripping the fuse box)
They chased me every day for payment before the service. Now that its done and I need to come back and fix it, I cant get hold of anyone or get an appointment to get them to come back
Do not use!!

I got a quote for £110 plus vat to…
I got a quote for £110 plus vat to carry out the ECIR for my 3 bed house. This resulted in necessary remedial works ranging from £450 to £1,674. To pass the ECIR a minimum spend of £450 was necessary. The assessment is very subjective and the costs appeared on the high side.
I got assessment review by an independent experienced electrical engineer who advised that most of the work was not necessary
My experience is that the low upfront cost potentially come with high remedial works costs.
I was also disappointed with Sujan’s response and there was no response back from the person who owns the company.

Found them online searching for an EICR…
Found them online searching for an EICR provider. Initial booking was easy, there was a mix up with timings, but they helped organize timings with the tenant and lettings agency. Once the report was ready, costs to rectify the issues were provided. We had some delays in getting them booked in again, but once that was sorted out they came out did the work and reissues the certificate.

Hexo sent someone to carry out remedial…
Hexo sent someone to carry out remedial work, but only part of it was completed. The engineer explained that they could not install the additional sensors because there was no wiring available. Hexo then proposed an alternative solution: installing battery-powered sensors.
A second visit was arranged, during which the engineer was also supposed to inspect couple of faulty lights. Unfortunately, the battery-powered sensors were not installed because the same issue with the lack of wiring was raised again—even though this had already been identified during the previous visit. It appears that this information was never passed on.
To make matters worse, more than a month after the second visit, I still have not received a report explaining what was wrong with the lights or what solution is proposed for the sensors.
Communication has been extremely poor throughout the process. Emails and phone calls have gone unanswered, and there has been no meaningful follow-up. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
