As reading through the reviews seems like typical heybike don't respond to reviews and also emails
I purchased a Ec1 back in April 2024 the bike it self is well built in the time I've had the bike I've had 3 switches go on the display 2 replaced by the company I bought the bike from and one from heybike which I had to pay £50
Now the bike sensor has gone and they can't get a replacement until march come on heybike for a part that is so small surely you should have these spare parts in stock
And I have to point out the new upgraded display unit doesn't even fit properly on the ec1 like the original

Die Fahrräder sind für ihr Preis sehr gut.
Man merkt an Kleinigkeiten, da wurde gespart und diese unglaublichen Preis zu ermöglichen, aber sonnst, nur zu empfehlen.

Der Versand des Bike ,, EC Compakt Sport'' hat super geklappt.Es war an der Verpackung keine Schadstelle zu erkennen.Die Fahrradteile in der Verpackung waren lt.Werkstatt sehr ordentlich und sicher verpackt!!
Mein bisheriger Kontakt mit dem Kunden Service Center von HEYBIKE ( per E-Mail )war sehr gut und freundlich.Antwort bekam man innerhalb 24 Stdn.Ich glaube schon, daß dem Service von HEYBIKE sehr daran gelegen ist,ihren Kundinnen/Kunden bestmöglichste Versorgung und Zufriedenheit zu bieten.Sehr gern weiter zu empfehlen!!

Support Heybike
Ich möchte hier nur mal meine Erfahrung mit dem Support von Heybike kundtun:
Nachdem ich am 14.11.2025 das EC Compact Sport bekommen hatte wurde es sofort ausgepackt, zusammengebaut und meine Frau hat gleich die erste Probefahrt gestartet. Es war ein Traum! Das Fahrrad hat eine super Qualität und läßt sich sehr gut fahren, aber dann: Die Hinterradbremse hat unheimlich gequietscht.
Da aus den Unterlagen nichts hervorging was man machen kann, habe ich mich an den Support gewandt.
Was soll ich schreiben...... einfach nur eine super Kommunikation, kompetent und super freundlich und vor allem sehr emphatisch!! Man hat das Gefühl man spricht mit Freunden hinzu kommt die unglaublich schnelle Reaktion auf die Fragen. Da ich selbst über 40 Jahre im Kundendienst gearbeitet habe kann ich die Art und weise der Kommunikation nur loben.
Kurzum: Exzellent

Im übrigen mag ich das Wort Kundendienst lieber als Service, warum? Kundendienst heißt Dienst am Kunden und das macht der Service von Heybike hervorragend!
Das zweite E-Bike wir im März/April gekauft!

Great bike looks fabulous beautiful colour

The Bike EC1 is best in regards of price/quality. The whole bike has good quality materials and the motor runs with enough power. Assembly of the delivered parts was easy to do with the instruction. I had to contact the HeyBike Support Team due to a question and got response within 24 hours. All in all a very good Bike and Service.

I contacted Heybike in July 2025 after noticing that additional batteries for their e-bikes were no longer available for purchase. They responded, explaining that due to recent customs inspections and related shipping restrictions, they were currently unable to ship batteries to the UK. They also stated they were awaiting confirmation from customs authorities on when shipments might resume.

It’s now October—three months later—and I have yet to receive any updates or communication from Heybike.

I purchased an EC-1 e-bike from them last year. Since then, I’ve changed jobs and now cover significantly more distance each week, making a second battery essential. Without the ability to purchase one, this bike is no longer fit for purpose. I'm extremely disappointed, and it now seems I’ll need to invest in a new e-bike entirely.

My advice: avoid buying e-bikes from manufacturers based in China. While the bikes themselves may be appealing (price, specs, etc), supply issues like this—particularly with critical components such as batteries—can leave you stranded. Instead, buy from brands that manufacture or at least distribute within the EU or the US, where you're more likely to have access to reliable support and spare parts.

Ich habe mit dem Service sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht.
Meine Probleme wurden immer sehr schnell gelöst.
Ich würde Heybike gerne weiter empfehlen

Mein defekter „An“ Schalter wurde mir kostenfrei umgehend ersetzt.

Have now put just over a 300 miles on the EC 1 - mainly going to and from work . Easy to ride , comfortable ,enough power on the hills ( lots of hills where I live !) and great bike to look at . Nice solid bike rack to hold my panniers and all my bits/shopping . Small problem with my "on/off" button - currently being quickly resolved , nice to have the back up of the App to keep going . Thanks HeyBike :-)

Das EC1 ist ein wunderbar leichtes E-Bike. Der Aufbau klappte problemlos. Auch nach über einem Jahr fährt es toll.
Leider konnte ich plötzlich mein Bike nicht mehr per Schalter anstellen. Nach Rückfrage beim Support würde mir direkt geholfen. Da es per App abzuschalten ging, war klar, dass der Akku nicht das Problem ist. Da ich über die Garantie bin,aber gelesen hatte, dass dieses Problem öfters Auftritt, würde mir ein kostenloser Ersatz zugesichert. Ich bin gespannt.
Der Service war immer schnell, freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Purhased a Heybike ec1 and have been using it daily for about 6 months with no issues and have been very impressed with the bike - motor - comfort - and practicality all good.
Recently had an issue with the power switch and contacted customer services which i must say were first class in sorting my problem.
I would definitely reconmend the bike and the company.

I love my Heybike I bought last May. It‘s fast, the battery holds long and for me the bike is very powerful. Even with a kid on a kids-seat or pulling a kid on a bike behind me. Unfortunately I had some issues with the power switch but the Heybike support helped me getting a new one. Thanks to Lila.
