I had a minor query regarding the Heybike app. I emailed the Heybike UK support team. They dealt with my query promptly and efficiently and they seemed genuinely "happy to help"!
Great customer service and the new bike also got five stars.

J’ai acheté le vélo début 2025 et si je le compare à mon ancien VAE nakamura, la différence est flagrante. Le vélo est léger, très performant. La batterie tient 80 km à vitesse 2 en moyenne 21km/h. La lumière est intégrée avec la batterie. De plus j’ai pu bénéficier de tous les certificats pour avoir une aide régionale. Le service client répond dans la journée et il est très efficace. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Broken button on starter. Button is very poor quality and company should consider making a more robust model.

I have an EC1 bike since summer 2024 and overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
I had a small issue with the display and this was resolved to my full satisfaction by the service department and the display exchanged.

J'ai acheté un vélo depuis 7 mois, vraiment je suis tres satisfai, avec le service apres vente, tu peux dormir avec un esprit tranquille.

The bike arrived without any damage!
The assembly was very simple following the instructions.
Only some questions occurred by using the smartphone.
But the very experienced support crew solved all problems.

I am very pleased with my Heybike. Customer service also sincerely dealt with all my questions. I especially thank Cassie from customer service for all her support.

Fahrrad kam mit zerkratzten Rahmen an, obwohl die Versandverpackung unbeschädigt war.
Den Vorfall beim Support gemeldet und seit Tagen keine Rückmeldung.
Bis jetzt würde ich sagen, Finger weg.
Es gibt auch keine erreichbare Telefonnummer.
UK geht niemand ran uns USA ist immer aussserhalb der Geschäftszeiten.
Der Händler in Deutschland hat einfach mal keine Telefonnummer.
So geht das überhaupt nicht.
Da ist der Support bei Aliexpress besser !!

I bought the Haybike Citrun. When I put it together I noticed that the forks were extremely loose. I bought the bike the middle of November it has now been a month since I purchased it and I still can't ride it. Bad customer service, they don't seem to stock any parts in the US everything comes for China

Great response from customer service when i recently contacted them regarding a switch problem , all resolved very speedy and new item on its way

Top Kundenservice, der Austausch eines defekten Teil war komplett unproblematisch, es wurde kostenfrei ein neues Teil gesendet. Ich würde mir das Rad jederzeit wieder kaufen

Very good bike, easy to use and great to ride also looks like a normal hybrid which is one on the main reasons I bought it, good aftercare as well very fast and prompt

I recently purchased a medium Heybike EC1 after a lot of research and following the demise of my previous 30 year old mountain bike to which I'd added an electric front hub kit about 6 years ago.

Due to taking our bikes on holiday on our campervan, weight and a removable battery were big factors and the Heybike EC1 certainly delivers on that score.

Its looks/aesthetics are also a big plus point for me. The slimline battery and frame, hidden cabling and hybrid style don't scream electric bike which gives some added reassurance from a security point of view. I have also invested in Litelok X1 and alarmed Oxford D-locks to physically protect my new pride and joy.

Whilst I have only been out on it a couple of times, my first impression is that the EC1 rides well and it's certainly a step-up in quality from my previous, much heavier bike. We live at the top of a sizeable hill which poses no problem at all, although I did need the maximum power setting (3/3) and the lowest gear. The medium size is just right for me at 5 foot 10 inches tall. I've not encountered any toe-overlap at the front or caught my feet on my rear pannier bags, but if you are much taller I'd look at the large size.

So far, I've only needed to contact customer services with one minor query which they sorted out very promptly.

All in all, whilst it's obviously early days, I am very pleased with my purchase, which was good value, including mudguards, lights and a rear rack and basket.

My only slight reservation is the paint finish, which looks great in matt black but could be thicker. Despite me being careful in these first few days, it has already picked up a few dinks and scratches. However, it's not enough to alter my high opinion of the bike overall and it's possible that these scratches wouldn't show so much on the other colours of the EC1.

Wir haben im August 2024 eine EC1 & EC1_ST Combo gekauft. Die Lieferung erfolgte zügig. Wir nutzen die Bikes vor allem für kleine Stadtfahrten und kurze Ausflüge ( max. 20k m ) Wir sind vom Handling, dem geringen Gewicht und vom Aussehen der E-Bikes begeistert. Ein Schaden am Ein- und Ausschalter des EC 1-ST wurde nach der Anzeige beim Servieteam von Heybike zügig als Garantiefall bearbeitet und durch die Zusendung des des benötigten Ersatzteiles behoben. Ich würde aber trotzdem dem Hybike Team empfehlen in Deutschland einen direkten Ansprechpartner für die Kundenbetreuung bei Problemen einzurichten.

Had a couple of issues with a scratch and with programming LCD display but contacted Heybike support and they assisted me in a very quick, professional way and I am happy to say issues resolved within 2 days. Bike great, very happy customer

Absolutes spitzen Fahrrad! Wir waren zunächst skeptisch ob es bei dem im Verhältnis doch eher günstigen Preis ein gutes É-Bike sein kann und unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen! Wirklich klasse Fahrrad. Leicht zu fahren auch ohne Akku. Tolle Farbe und ein echter Hingucker! Selbst der Korb ist wirklich toll. Fazit nach 6 Monaten: einfach top und wir haben sogar ein 2. bestellt 😎
