Hired.com is smooth, real and kept its promise to connect me with other companies.
Hired.com is an amazing real platform that honestly contribute to connect talent to companies. As I created my profile and get approved, I have passed some of their assessment which are well put and up-to-date with the latest technologies used in software development. I started getting interview requests and they are all real and also I like the fact that members from hired.com reached out to give more insights. The whole experience is smooth starting from creating an account till getting interviews. Hired.com is absolutely one of my favorite places to look for a job.

Hired is worthless
Hired doesn't provide me any value and I can't see anything that is happening, companies that viewed my profile, what they are looking for etc. I don't see what value they are providing me that isn't better on other hiring platforms. If you don't want to actively be job searching I guess its a low effort way to put yourself out there but I would never pay for anything because they don't provide any benefits.

I have been pleasantly surprised by my experience on Hired. After being reached out to by a representative, I joined Hired and immediately had multiple companies reach out to apply to their company. I love the idea of companies applying to job seekers and would love to see more companies adopt Hired as a platform.

Poor quality of code, but marketing is great.
First: I couldn't update my profile, cause API just returning error. Obviously they don't do any automated testing of their platform. Shame.
Second: Coding challenges are very different by difficulty, for "General programming" I didn't solve task in 1 hour, tried again and got another task, done under 5 minutes.
Third: Their code editor doesn't understand ES6 or running JS incorrectly, in browser console same code works without problem.
Conclusion: They didn't find good coders for their own platform, how possibly they can help You with that.
Most companies don't care about quality nowadays, otherwise I wouldn't have to look for a new job, cause outcome of my work is good, but nobody measure it.

This survey is presented to all candidates during onboarding, yes, but it is 100% optional. If you do choose to answer the questions asked, however, your profile is still not marked in any way. Instead, if (based on your responses) you fit the EEOC's current definition of an underrepresented candidate and a company uses the Diversity Goals feature on their side, your unmarked profile will simply float to the top of their list of suggested candidates. Don't waste your time on this website
They demand to spend more time on your profile, ask to pass some online tests to make the profile more attractive, but it's all waste of time. There was no single interview for a few months. I have over 20 years of experience and the skillset is definitely not the problem.
Apart from being demanding, they also set time limit when they show your profile on the website, which is a complete nonsense.
Other job websites or linkedin are much more efficient to find a job, so I wouldn't recommend wasting your time here.

Regarding the lack of interview requests - while we are a curated marketplace that caters to the needs of its companies only, we are still affected by the marketplace at large. In general, we are seeing significant slow down on the Hired platform like the market in general and this may result in fewer requests, yes. That said, this is subject to change as the marketplace rebounds.
And, regarding the time limit you referenced - while your profile does go live for a 10 week window, that 10 week window is not a 1 time deal. After your window ends, simply wait 1 week and then resubmit your profile. We will place your profile live again. And, as mentioned, with any luck, the marketplace will rebound and we can get potentially get you a little more attention from our companies.
