I've owned a fair amount of hifi equipment in my time and demoed a lot of stuff. Today I had one of the best demo's at Glasgow Audio with Jesse at Great Western Road,Glasgow. Jesse welcomed us warmly into the demo room and was polite and very professional. We compared the Dali Rubikore 6 and 8's,with Naim amplification. I connected with Jesse almost immediately as I knew we understood each other regards speaker characteristics. He never rushed me, and listened to what I had to say and this made all the difference. Jesse is indeed a credit to Glasgow Audio and I hope he is recognised for his professionalism.

Great customer service and assistance in helping me settle on a new system.
Jesse took time to understand my (and my wife’s!) requirements, and set it all up in our room so we can try it all out and make sure it is what we (both) are looking for. Happy customers.

Well what can I say....
What a superb experience from start to finish.
Excellent communication. Excellent product knowledge and just the nicest lady, Anna, you would wish to meet. Nothing was too much trouble.
Anna conscientiously read and promptly replied to all of my emails, and there were many, she responded to all of my questions, requests and gave suggestions and detailed advice. I was instantly impressed from the very first detailed email from her.
The demo day arrived, I was greeted as a friend and offered refreshments.
The showroom was superb, the welcoming demo room was excellent, cool and comfortable.
My short list of equipment, Sonus Faber Olimpica Nova II, Sonus Faber Sonetto V G2 and Dali Rubikore 8' speakers, Cyrus 40 amp, Cyrus 40ST and Naim Unti Nova PE were present and playing upon arrival. Nice touch!
Speakers and components were duly swapped over and music listened too many times over. I was never rushed or felt pressurised. Remotes were given to me for me to control how I listened to the music, as low or high, as was suitable for the track played, from my track list, which Anna had all ready for us to listen too.
As each track finished, advice was asked for and personal thoughts were shared and options discussed.
This is such as stark contrast to a demo I had recently, with a conglomerate of a HiFi company, where not one of the items that I had asked to hear were present and the components on demo were 4 times the budget I had originally given. The salesperson took control and the music was deafening at times. A certain brand was constantly being pushed and the speakers I wanted to hear were dismissed, what on earth is the point of that.
I walked away from Holburn {Glasgow Audio showroom} having had a superb experience and felt no pressure whatsoever to commit to any purchase or forced into a different direction, just to sell me something they wanted me to buy.
I immediately ordered a superb system after the demo and felt everything I had asked for had been done, nothing was left.
Anna went away to crunch numbers and came back with a better price. The weight of near £16k, that I had squirreled away hidden in the sock drawer like a naughty secret, now put to good use and happily handed over for a system that I am proud of, with Zero buyers remorse over what I had spent, as after all this is a lot of money, but for a system I wanted, a demo done properly, advice without ulterior motives and a system that I will have for a long time, maybe my last? {Well until the Sonus Faber Olimpica Nova II g2 or Nova III g2 come out, then a call to Anna may be on the cards} :}

Anna at Holburn Audio was fantastic. I walked in off the street and was met with a warm friendly welcome. I had a rough idea of the setup I was looking for and Anna set up roughly what I was after. Obviously the whole online catalogue isn’t in the shop but there was enough to give me ideas of the setup I was after. Nothing was too much effort and various speakers were brought in and out for me to listen to. The ones I eventually chose were a pair of trade in Bowers and Wilkins. I’d never thought about buying trade in equipment, but the speakers were for me, the ideal ones for my setup and half the normal retail price, so a bargain.
The overall package was slightly more than my budget, but well worth the wee extra to get the sound quality spot on.

What an amazing company. Anna in the Glasgow branch has been so informative and helpful with my order, including being patient with me and Sam in the Aberdeen branch has an incredible knowledge of older amps and speakers. Between the two of them, they’ve helped narrow down the product suited for me. Very professional, very knowledgeable and excellent customer service. Highly recommended. Thanks for all your help.

Great company. Very helpful and made purchase a pleasure. Communication excellent throughout the purchasing. Would certainly do business with them again.

Lack of communication. Firstly, it was not obvious when placing the order that the item was not in stock. I then got an email a couple of days later saying it was expected to be in "early next week" and would then be shipped for next day delivery. I emailed back asking if I would get DHL tracking information so I could request to leave in a safe place. No response as yet, and no delivery as of Tuesday night, and no notification of a delivery date. Update: got a response, hopefully will get delivered next week now—we'll see how it goes.

Fantastic product and the service at Holburn (Glasgow Audio in my case) was truly excellent. One star removed because I was never made aware of the delivery time. Other than that, the experience was top notch. I’d definitely recommend.

Glasgow branch is the only audio outlet I know that allows you to audition turntable catridges (in-house).

Jesse had three turntables armed and good to go when I arrived. The listening experience was invaluble and it what good to discuss- in a relaxed manner-the various options before settling on the one for me.

Good service - helpful staff & prompt delivery of my item

Although I bought my purchases by phone it still is very good service. Friendly and helpful staff to help with my purchase.

I absolutely love the turntable I purchased from Holburn. ordering was easy and quick delivery. The turntable arrived in perfect condition, complete with the instruction manual and all necessary parts. After setting it up, the sound quality really to be just outstanding. I'm satisfied with my purchased

The item arrived in good time, and in perfect condition. I have played my record player, with the new stylus, and the records play beautifully. The service I received, when buying the aforementioned, was excellent.

My item was damaged in the post but it was resolved quickly and promptly. I appreciate the excellent customer service.
