Homeexterior Reviews

The fitters were super efficient, professional, and took great care of my home. They left everything extremely clean and tidy. Really lovely chaps. 5 star service from start to finish, I would highly recommend.

From the first visit by Ross sales representative to the fitting of my flat roof, I cannot thank this company enough. The work to be done was explained from start to finish, a date arranged and carried out. The area was left clean and tidy all rubbish taken away.

From start to finish Home Exterior ltd contact with salesman, surveyor and fitter were easy for intended work ,Fitter has done a very decent and clean job and great to cummunicate with questions for application of items fitted . To sum up i would not hesitate to contact them again for future works

Had a resin driveway completed but have a few issues with it and can't get hold of anyone. Poor customer sales for such an expensive service. Now going to try and get the money back that I've paid so I can get a proper company to do the repairs needed.

We are extremely happy with our new windows. They look very modern and we love the patterned glass in our bathroom. The fitters were first class and everyone was very polite and friendly. I would be happy to recommend this firm to anyone.

We were looking to have a tiled roof on our conservatory.
We had Home Exteriors come and give us a quote. We were extremely happy with the quote and agreed to go ahead. The surveyor followed this appointment and was happy and 3 weeks later they arrived.
The two men who came were very good. Hardworking and obviously concerned that they did a good job
They were very polite and cleared up at the end. Two days and it was all finished. A brilliant experience from start to finish.

I was very pleased with the first job on clearing my roof that the company did. I made an agreement about a second job, which I was not wholly happy with what I had done. When I cancelled, my deposit was refunded. I may well use them again in the future

This company replaced the roof of my conservatory. They worked hard to finish the job and cleaned up after themselves. The finished version is lovely and I'm extremely happy with it. It has already withstood a few very heavy downpours. Well done guys.
PS They like biscuits.

We have had 3 jobs done by them so far - a new extended garage roof and 2 exterior doors, ultimately making a new really useful boot room. Kyle, Sam & Steve all did a very good professional job - turning up on time, clearing up afterwards and we are really pleased with the results. So much so that they will be back later in the year to put in French windows.

Another great job. Already done the facias and guttering, got a good price for a returning customer to replace flat roof of garage and porch. Work delayed twice because of rain, they turned up Sunday morning and completed the job in 5 hours, excellent job, brilliant guys, very, very pleased, highly recommended this company

I was sold a door with leaded and diamond cut glass, thought all ok and then to find out 2 weeks later it had been discontinued!!
The initial salesman panicked and came out that afternoon to sell me another I was in two minds as I hadn't seen anything else I like...
I picked a patterned glass but found out later the type of glass should never have been sold to me fitted in a door according to the glass company!!
4 times the glass was changed because the pattern didn't match either side of the cross...
I then had to settle for something I would have never chosen because none of the fitters or glass manufacturer eco glass could sort out the problem....
During the first installation the bottom panel too small so fitter had to put our original back in until the new one was made, key was broken so new lock had to be changed, handles came wrong colour again changed and glass didn't match up 4 times replaced still looked awful so had to change for the 5th time....all in all about 7 visits, 4 months and many visits by fitters, glass installers and the Manager Ryan couldn't sort the problem and wasn't prepared to admit they had made a mistake in mis-selling me the glass which should not have been installed in the door in the first place. No apology from anyone and a the lack of communication during the process.... to add insult they rang me afterwards and offered me a £200 voucher for next insulation and friends/family £500 I said I would not have anything else done by them and I wouldn't put my friends or family through the ordeal with that he slammed the phone down on me very professional... I am suppose to have a follow up inspection!! Watch this space...
Also I found disgusting was whilst the fitter installing our door the first time another employee was going round door to door in my road touting for work, that should not be legally aloud...

reliable great price great workmanship top quality products. no hassle quotes friendly agents

The job was completed quickly and efficiently , staff were all lovely from the first guy who came round (Ray) , the office staff and the installation team . The Two doors are lovely and are a massive upgrade on my previous doors.

From initial contact to check visit after completion, everyone was polite and friendly.
The fascias and guttering we had fitted look really good. The fitters were two very friendly men who took great care to ensure our dogs did not escape while the gate was open. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure we were happy with the work done.
We have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I can't praise the guys who came to do my fascia and guttering and drain pipes.they work non stop and made Shure everything was cleaned up before they left all so Ross who came round to price up the job was very kind and helpful I would highly recommend them to anyone and use them again .

All staff polite and helpful, both at home and in phone calls from office; no pressure at any time. Rapid service, just 5 weeks from first visit to installation of three external doors which fitted in just over 6 hours by one fitter, polite and cheerful. Everything cleared away afterwards. Excellent service throughout at good price.

Great company from start to finish all there tradesmen’s were very helpful and professional in what they did I would certainly recommend and use them again when needed

The installation team for the wall coating were efficient and friendly, the work completed to a high standard. I'm very pleased with the wall coating.

Freddie visited initially, to explain about the product and give the quote, he was friendly and helpful but used hard sell, which I found old fashioned and OTT. I'd say it is inconsistent with consumer rights, now, as there is a cooling off period entitlement. I was pushed to take up the offer and had I not already decided that I wanted this specific product then I would have balked at that point, simply because of the approach.

I had to contact Freddie afterwards when I asked the office some questions and they proved unknowledgeable. Freddie was able to provide the info I needed. It was also difficult to arrange a date because I did not accept the first date offered. I had to ring a number of times and the message did not seem to be passed on that I wanted to book a date for the work.

I was called at 8.43 am, the day after the work was completed, by Ryan, who I felt was pushy and made spurious comparisons with instant payment for shopping at Tesco, he demanded to know why payment had not been made. At that point I had not even received bank details from the company to make a BACS payment (these are not included on the invoice). I had also only received the invoice on the afternoon of the previous day. I was phoned again on Friday morning, three times, after I had made the payment, with Ryan still requesting payment, which had been made by then.

I was alienated by my experiences of hard sell and the comms with the office staff.

We had a new conservatory roof and was really pleased with the installers were really good and hard working no worries about anything and looks really good and was so pleased that we're having some other work done

Had 6 windows, a door, soffits, fascias & guttering replaced on a bungalow. Very pleased with the result - looks very smart. No damage to interior wall decorations or bathroom tiling, which I was concerned about. Very professional service from all concerned, from salesman, surveyor, workmen and backup office staff. I would recommend this firm.
