The pool table was delivered in June 2025 and is of good quality. However, during installation, there was damage to the outside paving slabs next to the pool table. I informed them of this straight away and they said they would take up with their delivery partner. For weeks I chased this and they kept saying that they were not getting a response from their delivery partner. After a couple of months I said that it is their responsibility to resolve this for me and it is not reasonable for me to wait until their subcontractor respond. After further weeks of getting nowhere eventually a director of the company came back to me and asked for a lot of the information I had already provided again, which h I provided, and promised to resolve quickly. That was in August 2025 and 5 months on and a number of further emails and attempts to chase this I am now getting no response whatsoever from the company and have no choice unfortunately to look at escalating this to small claims courts

I had my pool table delivery on the 9th October. The table itself is nice & I'm pleased. The delivery company were not the most professional I must say but my main gripe is a good proportion of the accessory pack did not arrive Cue Rack, Brush, Spray, Book & a couple of other bits. I've been messaging Geordie Pool who delived the table but as yet nothing. I now see the Home Games Room website is down 👎

I ordered an outdoor pool table from home games room.
I would have liked to be able to leave a positive review on the pool table unfortunately I didn't get the chance.

Firstly I tried to use their express delivery service but due to me living in Devon and them being based in Newcastle that wasn't an option.
I thought fair enough I will just have to order it on their standard delivery which is advertised at 3-8 weeks - so worst case scenario is I would receive it by the end of July.
A little later than I wanted but I was ok with that as the kids would be able to use the pool table for the majority of the summer break.

So 3 weeks from ordering would have been near the end of June and 8 weeks the end of July, it got to the middle of July and it wasn't delivered so I enquired as to when I would be receiving it. They then told me it wouldn't be delivered till September which I replied that it was too late and I wasn't happy to wait that long as the kids would be back at school and as it was an outside pool table I wouldn't use it till the following year. So I told them to deliver it by the end of July as promised or to cancel and refund my payment for the order.

Then I had to waste my time phoning every day and emailing each day for a week being fobbed off each time before I finally got a call back from the director of the company.
He admitted that the service provided was poor and that the wait for the pool table was longer than it should have been and he agreed to refund my order.
I get that we are a long way from Newcastle but as a business owner who delivers products all over the country sometimes you just have to suck it up and deliver to places which are slightly more inconvenient on time.
I promptly got a refund, however I am left disappointed and wishing I had used another company that would have delivered on time.

Experience started three and a half weeks ago with a search for slate bed pool tables bringing up their excellent website. Easy to navigate, extremely wide choice and excellent illustrations.
Ordering process was very straightforward and, after paying a small premium for express delivery, I was promised my bespoke pool table (wide choice of colours, cloth and spec) in 4 weeks. It arrived yesterday in less than 4 wks. In the meantime, the company kept me completely up to date with progress, top drawer communications. The two guys who delivered and assembled the table were friendly, respectful, efficient and helpful. The product itself is just superb. I am totally delighted by the whole experience.
