Contacted Hometec to request quote for five new leaded sealed units. Rep came and measured up. That’s where it ended. Never got back to me with quotation. Rang them to chase up and was promised a call back, but never transpired. Obviously have too much work. Wanted to support local company, but sadly, they weren’t interested.
***Update*** The last communication I had with this company was 26/07 @ 1626 when I called to ask if my quote was available and was promised a call back that day. I received no call back and to allege I did is disingenuous at best.

This company use sub standard materials which are poorly fitted the roof leaked in several places there insurance contract was not worth the paper it was written on the work was surveyed and found at fault but they refused to carry out the repairs it was a con we had to employ another company to replace the roof at a £4,000 loss they offered a great deal but it was a con

We had a front door with side panels supplied and fitted. From the quote to the fitting Hometec were polite, professional and kept me informed throughout. The door itself is of high quality and the fitting was second to none with everything made good inside and out and tidy to. I can’t thank Hometec enough. We had an extension built a few years ago and our builder used an independent window guy, they were fitter and looked ok. However the extension had a constant draft, the house couldn’t keep warm and we could hear lots of outside noise. The window man returned on several occasions saying they were fine. We left it for a few years and brought in Hometec. From the moment they arrived they were professional and not trying the hard sell approach, we discussed our options and went for some new windows. The fitters arrived promptly when they said they would, took upmost care sheeting up our room. They took great care putting the new windows and were perfectionists. They were friendly but professional and I can’t recommend them enough. They discovered my old windows hadn’t been put in with best practices.
The new windows are really fantastic quality and within a few hours of them being installed our home was warmer! We can’t hear outside noises and no more drafts! We are so happy with our new windows and I would highly recommend anyone to use Hometec.

We are just sorry we didn’t go with this reputable company in the first place and won’t go anywhere else again.
